How dare you say that? Me and Faaiq are Muslims, we give charity each year. It is mandatory in our religion to give Charity (i.e. Zakat) . You know how big of an insult that is? I hate kids making me angry. Don't ever dare to say something like this again.

Charity begins with how we choose to live our lives. Do we make others that we come in contact with everyday feel good about themselves, Even if it is just bringing a smile to their face. Do we help those in need, who are less fortunate? It's not as difficult as it may seem. Over the course of our lives, which way will the scales tilt. The choice is ours. To encourage others to do the same is truly a good example...Thx OP... :)

For the most part i dont do charity as much as id like.  Ive helped out at the community center couple times and with my class completed a fundraising campaign on building a home  for refugee families in Afghanistan, a part of the Student Outreach for Shelters program from The Khaled Hosseini Foundation.

working at Christmas boxing it be delivered to them,

planting trees with scouts

walking 5 k for cancer

walking 3 k for food drive

walking 5 k for SPCA

giving food to food drives

helping fire victims with donations

helping the animal shelters

planting flowers

 

and so much more that i can`t remember at this time

 

even if you can`t give money ... just your time go`s a long way ...

Once I helped an old lady cross the street... turns out she didnt want to, which explains why I was more like dragging her across the street rather than helping her...

 

Another time I followed a women who kept dropping packages everywhere, so i picked them up every time she dropped one. Turns out she was something called a mailwomen who purposely drops off packages to people... weird right?

 

I also tried to teach young children letters and words, but instead of going C - C - C - Cat, I would do something like H - H - H - Cat, which it turns out you cant do that...
