First of all for the 1000th time 'All" the people who drug constantly are NOT noobs If you look at the league 1 and 2 clans you'll recognize that most of those players who are PRO's at this game are hardcore druggers as well.. I still don't understand why the guy who posted this meaningless article understands that there SHOULD be druggers in order to this game to survive. It's their  money that goes to the improvement and development of this game and without those druggers/buyyers all of you who hate em will not even have a tanki online to play. If you hate tankifor the above reason there are many other games out there where all the players are on equal ground and no one is favored. The best thing you can do is start no supply battles,,,,Once you get past the rank major there are tons of them on server 1 at any given time. This is exactly what I do + it also saves me tons of drugs to drug ( through daily bonus)  as a TIER 4 like you mentioned here on regular games apart from XP matches. My suggestion? Rank yourself up to Major and start playing XP matches You'll get to understand that Xp matches requires tons more skills than the sual ones you play day to day.This way you can become a recogized  and skilled player as well as a hardcore drugger as well. So stop crying and work towards improving your skills.....

I need to clarify because I don't think I was understood. I don't mean all druggers are noobs. I know about clans drugging and they are definately not noobs. I enjoy watching their matches on youtube. The druggers that are noobs are the one's who drug senslessly. Ex: Those who drug when their team is winning by a landslide. Now why would you even waste your drugs in a situation like that? It tells me that this person isn't skilled. You know...doesn't know any better than to use drugs when they're really needed(IE: your team is losing or battle is very close). It's really a simple concept, but some people don't understand it...and those people are NOOBS!

 

BTW I mostly play CTF so thats the type of gameplay situations I refer to.

 

Here's an example of the typical noob. Name HighwayToHell or something like that. We were 1v1 in Atra waiting for more people to join. He was a much higher rank then me...Brigadier and I am a Captain. Now his M3 stuff against my M2 hornet and m1 rico...guess what? He started drugging and I couldn't believe it! I lol'ed so hard because he was wasting drugs when he didn't even need to them to destroy me. Now that is a very noobish thing to do.

You're right that's what I was saying earlier :) so the point is we aren't trash talking about druggers, but we are actually talking about noobs.

 

The general feeling around this topic is pretty much hate for druggers in general, and not people who don't use them well.

Yep, I don't think this topic was created to talk bad about all druggers. I don't get that feeling anyway, but...people that hate all druggers are hypocrites because we've all drugged before. It's easy to tell a noob drugger apart from a skilled drugger. Skilled druggers bide their time and use them when the time is right...noobs just go all out.

 

Another example of a noob drugger. Was in a Sandbox CTF 22-7 in a 30 flag game. They were winning by 15 flags!!! but guess what? You guessed it...a couple of their team were drugging! I won't ever understand it, so I don't bother trying to figure it out..I just laugh and shake my head.

there are more than 1 gun and 1 hull,why shouldnt we use them? you high ranks thinking makes no sense at all.

XP just seems to be the current "trend" like the Mosquito battles before rebalance (Wasp/Rail)

and when 1 person says "XP is for skilled players only" others follow along with that.

I don't use drugs. I have saved it for my sister. And my sister uses it. I'm 12 and I have actor job. I earn money, I can do what ever I want with that. I spend 25 $ on this game. So it's too late for me to not buy crystals.

Well i' still against the points you guys made. Why can't you guys just see that drugging doesn't have any co-relation with the word noob. ( from what i know Noob means someone who doesn't have skills in this game and how the hell does it connect with the word drugging?)....If you guys still couldn't get it druggers drug when they are winning for some reasons....

 

1) They want to make their enemies leave so that they can get a much higher battle fund.(So that even the fund earnt by the enemies will be distributed among them)

 

2) They want to gain xp faster.( I'm sure that most of you will understand the fact that it's tons more easier and faster to gain more xp while drugging)

 

3) Some druggers drug for FUN cause they have too many drugs with them. How can you clarify him as a noob (i.e an unskilled  player)  just because someone drugs when he wants?

 

This game is made in a way that druggers will be favored. What's the point if those who pay their hard earned money for a game don't get an advantage over non-buyers who don't pay a single penny for the improvement or the development of the game? I am not a buyer myself but I don't go yelling here and there that druggers  are NOOBS. It's true that i sometimes feel frustrate when a drugger comes and totally owns a game.... But who cares we just have to live through it since we are non buyers.But i have minimized the chance of seeing something like that happen by starting to play xp matches regularly.

Nicely said and as someone mentioned earlier add a tier for Gold Box druggers - we all do that to get a better chance , so that seems ok.

Otherwise agree with your post , but as its part of a daily reward hard to see how you can avoid it. My advice is if your up against a team who constantly play '234' style - leave , everybody leave. The drugs used by these noobs are wasted in  battle and victory becomes pretty hollow - it's game over really.

I knew about gaining xp faster, but never knew about using drugs to get the enemies to leave so they get bigger battle fund. That's an interesting tactic. I still stand by what I said earlier...wasting your drugs isn't a smart move. You will need them at some point no matter what you think. When you really need them, you will wish you hadn't wasted them in the past. Well, I guess that doesn't apply to buyers because they have plenty to waste...but wasting anything isn't a smart move IMO.

Thing is. You get drugs, free. If you don't use them you're kind of an *****...

 

I drug, but there is a difference between mindlessly spamming 234 every time you respawn and using drugs effectively- that is only when the fund is large enough, when there is a realistic chance of winning etc

 

I don't see the hate against drugging, its part of the game... Part of the game is also knowing how to best use drugs:a quick 2&4 and a first aid can get you a winning flag... A double power can be really effective on its own in DM or TDM

 

 

As for druggers with kits, plenty of people own kits have plenty of drugs and don't buy. Don't categorise please. Just because you own a kit, doesn't mean you buy necessarily, it just means you are a better player who can save smartly.

I agree, drug is in the game, so there is drugger. crystal buying is in the game, and so there are kits. Deal with it. Learn to go over these obstacles, not whimper in fear because someone used some supplies. I also agree with you that yes, there are two types, being a noob and wasting your money and your cry and your time, just mashing down on the number keys everytime you respawn. There is a certain art to it. An art that must be practiced to perfection. You are extremely correct, using one drug with perfect timing could tilt the game in your favor. Once again drugging is part of the game, you should live with it.

I don't like druggers, but it's still a necessary part of the game. I understand that the OP wrote this to advise what to do about drugging, but I couldn't help but laugh at the pointless ranting here and there, calling them noobs and all. It doesn't help anybody, and shows a biased POV making it hard to take this seriously.

We've all drugged hardcore in a game at least once, admit it. Shaming and calling names would just be outright hypocrisy.

It sucks to get screwed over by druggers, but it's simply how this game works. Either drug back, fight more carefully, or just quit ASAP to save your temper.

Drugging does NOT automatically make you a noob, but ranting and accusing does. I've drugged a lot in games to get flags/defend(and felt bad doing it) and seen more than enough players whine and throw tantrums in chat instead of just acting maturely.

 

If you join a match with a lot of druggers, leave immediately. If a drugger joins your match, just deal with it. You're playing on a normal battle, you know people can drug in there, so why then, are you going to complain about them ruining everything? I hate to be blunt, but play Pro battles if you really hate them that much.

 

EDIT: I can't help but facepalm at the anti-drugger bandwagon trend going on in this thread. Downvote all the meaningful posts, upvote biased posts. Lol.

I think you should only be able to use each drug 10 times in one round. They said they wanted to balance the game, and that would help.
