Hardest Languages?

Hardest language? Its Sanskrit.

sanskrit is quit very simple if you try to understand with all your effort....believe me.... i am in 8th, and when sanskrit was started at 5th i was too afraid that it will be a very tough, but when i started to read and understand it, it looked too easy... and the best part is that i score the most marks in sanskrit in my class..

by the way i wanted to add these:

why is z called (somewhere, i forgot the place) "zee" instead of "zed"?

"T-O" is pronounced as 2 (T-U), but "G-O" is pronounced as G-O.

In alphabets G is like GEE, but in words like gun, it is not G, "ग" (if you know hindi, you will know what i mean, if you dont know hindi, then just use your common sense to understand what i mean)

there are more but i don't have time to write them all :P

Exactly  :D Fries are Belgian  :D

English muffins weren't invented in England, and French fries aren't French.

I think Russian is quite difficult. Dutch isn't easy either. The grammar is quite hard with a lot of exceptions.

Actually, if you learn the Russian alphabet, the language is a lot easier than you think, most words you will able to read.

The sanskrit we are taught till 8th class is nothing. :P

What we learn is just the basics of its grammar.

To converse in this langauge is the most difficult because as far as I know no other  langauge has 21 variations of each word, having different applications for every context. That is also the reason that sanskrit is considered better than other langauges for computers as it is not confusing.

But this langauge is no longer in common use now.

Well, a lot of people say Dutch is a difficult language. But I think arabic is, I heard it once, and it was like this:

Sha ma le abkfnr abudnrjknf wdu no achmed.

"Pikula Juumarijoka" that actually means something more than gibberish in Chinese!

I'm no Chinese expert, but that does seem like gibberish rather than actual Chinese... In fact, that looks like it's in a Nordic language more than anything. Maybe it's Nordic gibberish.

German is hard, to an extent. Honestly, three genders, and the fact they have four actively used case (nominative, accusative, dative & genitive), and the adjective agreements... Gosh, I need to learn 3 sets of endings (definite article, indefinite article and no article) for adjectives, which don't even correspond with the ending of the article. And don't even get me started on the anger of two-way prepositions...

But hey, why am I complaining? It's a language, and as I'm trying to teach myself, I should accept its challenges.
