Battle option for restricting certain equipment

If Hazel-Rah didn't want the Fire&Wasp format, he wouldn't want this. Because this is basically the same thing: Restrict all turrets and hulls except Fire and Wasp.

those days i play much arena 4vs4, mostly i take mamoth twins africa or zeus but then a good player leave and a noob generlismo join with m2 m2 combo or m3 m2  m3 m1 or something like that, because that i mostly gonna loose, realy hate those noobs, so pleas make option that you can choose what combo they need have atleast something like this

Its kindda of format, u mean?

 

I know...noobs annoy at all ranks...they actually do that intentionally.....we cant do anaything...<_<

there shouldn't an option tto choose 2-3 turret as an formar, just should be one gun-one hull, or one gun-all hulls and all guns-one hull.

I agree there should be choices available what turrets and hulls can join a battle. And not only pro battle.

 

I find Tanki becoming terribly boring, it is awfully difficult to find an interesting game to join.

Lots of games are so unbalanced (like CP score 11-150 and at least one less player on the loosing side, or CTF score 0-20). Restrictions on turrets/hulls could help.

A restriction that if loosing and winning team have the same number of members, you can only join the loosing team (i mentioned that before).

 

An alternative for a turret/hull choice per battle could be to create a team-option. Per map, tanki puts together an interesting selection of turrets/hulls (like with some of the competition modes) that each side has to fill. You will have to play a lot more on skill and don't run the risk that a game is dominated just because one side picks out all the same type of gun. Or that your nice fast pace small hull game shooting around corners suddenly becomes a static big hull game. Or vice versa.

 

Maybe even a very basic version would be fun: a one turret only choice.

 

Just wanted to say I liked to play tanki, but not so much anymore. The unbalanced games certainly have to do with that.

 

(And funny tanki players always talk about noobs in the game as if they are spoilers, because we all are noobs as I see it).

Thx for question. I try to answer. Thx for letting me know about my mistake :D

 

1. Why base it on maps?

I want it based on map because some map it not balanced thx to very wide hull

For example large map like, Highway. Mammoth sit at flag, and successfully make fail every light hull attack. It too hard.

and small map like arena, when middle and heavy hull make contribution, light hull is constantly dying and not leave (like enemy have hammer DD, or thunder DD or shaft DD)

 

2. Mostly bad in my opinion.

Yeah it could be, as mammoth user probably like killing light hull. I want to make border for light and heavy. I want its fair.

 

3. Diversity. Don't you understand why all humans are different?

Well, like i said i do know the answer. In this aspect. Diversity in map not pretty compatible to hull. Why they do that? it will be edited. thx.

 

4. Because the players could easily use tactics to evade them.

Mostly, it can't be evadad, it must to deal it. like strategy Mammoth sit flag entrance that cant be killed by shaft (like lost temple) + Isida friend + Mines + Supply

 

5. How does it ruin teams?

Sorry, I didnt give enough detail, will be added, its the story about 2 shot killed hull vs Mammoth. Mostly about 50% higher, its useless. add some supply user for more realizing scenario.

 

6. That's not why certain maps are rare.

I do really believe that map rare coz they hard, attack or defend. that lead to boring gameplay or helpless sitution. that lead to rare map.

I seen a lot in Future, Hill, Arena, etc that have full player. Its was good game with a lot of light hull.

When Mammoth user come and sit at flag, the losser team leave. and after match ended they become empty.

Add some supply for realistic view. Its stressfull

It primary source of problem is light hull vs heavy hull.

 

Its different story if we talk Mammoth vs middle or heavy hull.

It sure give some fight, longer.

 

And it sure give some help, as probably, some popular map, will get less popular thx to limited player. like Hill Noise etc

 

Here some fact

XP/BP is popular even on rare map. thx to balanced hull and turret.

 

So your main problem is that you don't want to use a heavy hull. Right?

Someone posted something about everything as XP. Hey! Not everyone likes XP! if i want to play isida/mammoth duels? So what should i do?

 

About idea i would like to see some tags under that checkbox.

[Turrets]

[Hulls]

[Paints]

[supplys]

[button Select all/Deselect al]

 

so player can choose what everyone will use. Like i want to play catch the wasp and im sellecting that, mammoths and wasps, isidas is aviable and selecting all paints.

OMG. This would make Fire/Wasps and other fun battles so much easier ^^

There are so many times I want certain turrets to not be in a battle like firebird and railgun they're so OP with this option I can create a Thunder only battle then I can have the battle I want The classic tank battle no futuristic weapons only the old cannon.

Nah the game will get too complicated i think adding a few more official battle modes like XP/BP will do the trick

For team battles, it would be a good idea it there was a custom type of battle where players can choose a tank combination such as turrets, hulls and paint.

 

For example, if players were to create a custom battle, they could choose any tank combinations they wanted.

 

Let me explain this in more details:

 

If I were to create a custom battle that allows only players to have the Black paint, only players who wear the Black paint can enter this custom battle.

 

The same would go for turrets and hulls. I could make a battle that allows, for example, Smoky, Hunter & Black Paint. Only players wearing the Smoky, Hunter & Black paint could enter this battle.

 

Then, players wearing the same equipment would create a team. The same would go for the enemy team. One of the players on the enemy team side would choose a turret, hull and paint combinations before the round starts.
