ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Hey Fellow Tankers!

 

Recently, ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has been spreading around the globe faster than you can ever imagined. This challenge involves the dumping of a bucket of ice water onto one's head and to donate $10, or to donate $100 if they opt to avoid the ice bucket dump. All donations go towards the ALS Association in your particular country, which will contribute to aiding with research and patient services and promoting awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). ALS is a neurodegenerative disease that causes muscle weakness and atrophy throughout the body. In prolonged cases, this can lead to Locked-in Syndrome, in which a patient is aware but unable to move or communicate verbally due to paralysis of the muscles. 

 

This Ice Bucket Challenge (#icebucketchallenge) is already close to achieving $50 MILLION for the American ALS Association. This challenge has gone viral, as celebrities and many others are taking part of helping raise money for this cause.

The idea of poring cold icy water over your head is stupid and dangerous. And all because of a "dare"? Such a icy temperature could give you a flew or even kill you. Its to raise awareness to a cause. The reason they pour ice water is so you can feel how cold the muscles feel for people with ALS. (I think) or something like that.

For charity. Clearly you're not smart enough to see people with this condition suffering around the world.Do the Ice Bucket Challenge and pay 10 Dollars or don't do it and pay 100 Dollars, I believe.

For a grown man it may not end up as a fatality. But since half of the forum are underaged(meaning below 18) such challenges may lead to death or heavy sickness. Also I am very disappointed that the staff have supported this topic. Imagine what would happen to tanki if a child died because he was dared by Tanki online players. And most importantly staff who let it happen. I am certainty not against the challenge. But I don't think the idea should be advertised and suggested to TO players who are mostly below 16. Thank you.
