Hello dear reporters,i have a complain,hope you look it as a must for improvement,

 

as you know most of press section contest are regarding art/art/art/art/art.... no mental quiz,no knowledge tests 

 

and for that prizes,just art art art art ..

 

my suggestion/request: please make contests regarding knowledge of wiki things,like which hull has....

 

please just do it

 

my second complain why only few players get prizes beside of those who are really had good enties?

 

create a system that allow everybody to get prizes

i have a request,i suffer from calling my idea ridiculous,at least please use some another word like not good for that,

Just being blunt, but yep prizes for everyone will never be implemented.

 

Knowledge test... We have had "Quests" in the past which have done similar things and tested players knowledge of the forum. I will work on some kind of intellectual contest for next issue.

I have an idea o:

Make a contest in which you show a situation in a battle (video or screenshot, video would be better IMO) and the 3 players that give the best solutions will win a prize.

 

Example:

You are a Wasp-Smoky tank in the blue team in a Rio CTF battle. You stand in your base at the snipers area and see two red Hornet-Railgun tanks with full drugs on coming from the roof to take your flag. A noob enemy Wasp is laying upside down next to you and doesn't want to self destruct. You are low on health and have no drugs. You are alone in your base.

Your task: Survive and prevent the druggers from taking your flag.

 

Solution examples:

 - Stand under the hornet that jumps to the flag exactly in the right place to make him land on you with only one side (half) of his tank to make him flip, push him a little bit to the side when the second tank is already in the air and then move away so the second tank will land with only one side of his tank on the other flipped Hornet and it will make him flip too. Be ready to shoot him in case he gets flipped only on his side.

 - Push the flipped Wasp to the flag to make him pick it up before the druggers come, then run away. (go to take their flag or do something else useful)

 - Shoot use the snipers prop to aim up, shoot the hornets while they jump to the flag and flip them.

 - Fight both druggers, use Smoky's impact force to make them miss you, and use the environment to get some cover.

 

I wrote these solutions in a best -> worst order. When choosing the best solution, things like: creativity, style (would it look cool in a battle?), difficulty (how hard it is to actually make it, how probably is your success with this solution?), bonus advantages (will this solution result in additional advantages - more than what was listed in the objective?)... should be considered.

 

In all the above solutions, except for the last one, you can be sure the objective (prevent them from taking the flag, survive) will be done. In the first solution it is also done with style (especially the part of making one of them flip the other one), and there is a bonus advantage of getting rid of these druggers for 20 seconds (self destruction + respawning time). In the second example, there is a creative solution to the problem, and the third solution is the most normal one. The fourth solution is the worst one as it will work only if the player is extremely skilled and both druggers are complete noobs.

An article detailing the map making process, maybe a multi-part story on the inception, the parameters and considerations taken into account, then the creation process, the testing, and final vetting of a map.

I would love you to discuss about the jump/fly hackers in the game.How to treat them and How to resolve this "Tanki-Worldwide Problem" and how to solve this?

 

Really,as a player,it just "stings" you from the inside when you are on the top of the whole "mess" of tanks,and then out of no where,some mysterious hacker(usually with low weapons) get on top of you and capture the gold box you wanted so "dearlessly"... (Sighs)

 

 

 

 

Btw,the major problem is in polygon CP's...

 

In the old days,with the old gold-falling mechanism on.there were few hackers...

I suggested Semyon a way to make the anti-cheat system recognize jump cheaters, but he doesn't reply to me in the chat anymore so I guess that's not going to be treated soon... Unless Semyon will decide to read my last messages since he stopped answering me.

How about contest called "Make your own contest!" players could suggest something original on issue 34 and winning one would be in  issue 35.

Or maybe what are relationships between reporters - like did you ever meet each other personally, or you are like good skype friends, maybe like having a morning coffee debate through skype,  how you cooperate with each other, process of making new issue every month.

Even somthing on maps that are almost unplayed, something that would popularize them would be interesting (f.e. i played chernobyl first time and i was surprised how great gameplay it offered).

Then there are a lot to communicate: 

 

First, your idea of 'make your own contest' seems rather greedy than the original intention, as you want the crystals more than the service which gives an impression of greed for money.

 

Second, mostly all the reporters live at two ends of the world; it is nearly impossible to meet the other unless by chance, however, there might be a possibility.

 

Third, the process has already been divulged by @Ranger7 in his article, titled 'How an Article Gets Published'. This is the present known knowledge of it, there might be few changes but at least something's better than nothing. :) 

 

Fourth, there is already the R.I.P maps issues done by @Remaine, they are detailed and provide a fine description of the maps.
