What to buy? What to use?

Currently, Rustle can get me trough most situattions.

Though I want a better paint in future when I hit Marshal.

 

I use a smoky M2 with Wasp M2 at the moment, and I play a lot in Iran and kungur maps.

I also love Sandbox.

 

But I don't really know what kind of paint would be good for those maps.

I was thinking about Progidi, since rails are often used in Iran and especially Kungur.

Thunders pick me off pretty quick aswell since I'm a Wasp.

 

This also means I don't really have to worry about a freeze, I can outrun them in most cases.

But I see smoky's more and more now. That may be, because I'm one myself aswell.

Progidi, sadly offers no protection against Smoky.

 

And I'm not sure wheter to go with Progidi in future, or something else.

Any suggestions?

Picking a good paint is ofc useful but i dont think smoky protection matters much anyway. Its the critical hits that are gna do the most damage and taking off a bit of damage for the shots that don't isn't imo wirth the investment. Sure it decreases the amount of damage that a critical shot would do but this is all luck based and the paint won't protect you if you get critically shot twice will it??

 

It's better to get m3 mammoth/ m3 wasp and m3 smoky as its better to upgrade the guns instead of getting really cool paints... Maybe in the future get a Paint like Picasso, prodigi or Rock but not atm when you still have an m2/m2 combo

i would say M2 isida. Even though you can get freeze earlier, ISIDA improves more over the upgrade.

And it also depends on your playing style. If you like freezing, and you think that freeze is better for you than isida, then I recomend to get Freeze.

I'm also in the need of Easy-To-Earn crystals and I must tell you that Isida and Wasp has worked like magic for me! I use M1 Wasp and M0 Isida, and I still manage to be competetive in points against Majors, Generalissisimos and Brigadiers. Yes, I've played with those before. Nab a Fast tank with Isida (Even M0) and join in on either battles that are VERY high ranked, or at your own rank. I can hold my own and lead other noob teams, but with M0 isida it is tough because the newbies don't know strategies. Lol. In High ranked battles, (Brigadiers, Generalissisimos, Brigadiers), you're the Damage dummy. However, with Isida you are very important. In those battles do not focus on Killing unless you're the only one who knows the enemy is there. Other then that, Heal everyone. I was playing with Generalisssimos in Kungur map and I got 200 Crystals in 21 minutes just from healing, I got 4 kills only. Lol! I also capped one flag, with Wasp, No drugs, and there were Rails. :ph34r: . So Wasp isn't that bad. I got shot with Thunder but I still made a quick run back. Another true example was in Moon Silence, it was 15-20 minutes and I earned second place playing against Majors. I only got 2 kills in that one. And even if you're a wasp or a Hornet, use your hull as a Damage Dummy and wall. Drive in front of enemies to get in their way. Examples are such as a Mammoth trying to run off with your flag. Just drive in front of him, and squat there. Attack him with your Isida and not only are you hurting him, but you're also regaining your Hp. Or you can heal a local friendly Freeze. Lol! You can do that to other tanks too. Don't mind about the Team Kick system. Higher ranked battles won't get you kicked if you heal wisely. Remember in Higher Ranked battles, you are to heal and get in the way, not to attack. In the Kungur battle I mentioned earlier I healed campers many times. Easy points, and you can kill the occasional tank that tries to kill your camper, thus kill stealing. That's how I 3 of my kills. The other kill was from me going head to head with an M2 Firebird. He burned me once but I got away with 1 Hp left. B)

I just got a Gold Box in Iran map like 10 minutes ago. Lol. With Faster Tanks, you'll be able to pick up Crystal boxes with ease. Furthermore, with your isida you'll be able to regain health. I stole a Gold Box from a Major General in Sandbox map. He was a M2 Mammoth on Drugs yet I had no drugs on and I just slipped right in front of him and snatched the Gold box. The one in Iran map I got in the Tunnel. Without Wasp, I don't think I would've made it. Lol. It was the first time I saw a Gold Box drop there too. Anyways, you can use Hornet, but I'd say Wasp really. Not only can you use the extra speed, but the size of it is absolutely amazing. I got an M2 Thunder to miss me 6 times, and a Railgun to miss me 3 times, and I was literally like 5 meters away from both of them. Lol. Who cares about the Hp, you're Defence, not Offence. By the way, to survive, ambush enemies, sneak into enemy turf, and occasionally run upon Crystal/Gold Boxes, use deserted paths that others don't use. You'll be a real Survivor.

If you don't prefer this Method I use, then I guess feel free to use other strategies- if you can find them. If you don't use Wasp and Isida, I guess you can use others such as Thunder/Mammoth or Twins/Mammoth in DM matches.

Why Wasp?(or Hornet if you only have M0 wasp.)- Crystal Boxes! 10 Crystals for each box sounds small, but it's actually great! Especially if you are able to round up many. With Wasp you'll be able to scavenge. Think of yourself as the Vulture in most cases, You scange off of Crystal Boxes and Weakened Tanks. Furthermore, you help the environment (Other Tanks) with your healing abilility. 10 Crystal Boxes = 100 crystals! Lol, I sound cheap but it's amazing. Furthermore, when seeing a Gold Box don't forget to drug. And I sort of use it to squeeze my enemy forces and run off with their flag. Lol!

 

If you don't have Wasp at M1, then I trust that you'll know not to use it. However, if you do have it at M1 my opinion is that that would be your best choice. Viking and Dictator at M1 can be alright I'm guessing.

Im playing much battles with higher ranks and get killed pretty fast

Do what Zero said and upgrade your hull. More Hp and Speed. You can do that or use your Awesome skills and go Incogneito. If you have Close-up weapons, hide from enemies and try to sneak around- and ultimately killing enemies with the art of surprise. True, easier said than done.

 

If you use Shaft and Railgun, then find cover. Jump out and quick-snipe with Railgun, occasionally finding another spot to snipe from. With Shaft, snipe from one side of your cover, then when you see that you're exposed, there are two options. You can switch hiding spots, or just Snipe to the Death. You can of course use your same cover, but in a different way. You may be able to find cover in which it has two sides to snipe from. If you see another Sniper aiming at you and you won't be able to kill him, just turn the other way and snipe from a different angle that of is not exposed to the enemy. Then after a few minutes he'll lose interest. Then resume sniping.

Your best bet is Cedar. Thunders will be trying seriously hard to get rid of you, so you can annoy them a little bit with Cedar's Thunder Protection. Roger and Electra aren't very good for much of anything, excepts looks :D

Prodigi wouldn't be a bad option, but if you're still looking for Smoky protection... I'd try Savanna, it has 40% for Smoky, and 20% Railgun. As for Thunder, Emerald would probably be an obvious option too, if you've had plans to purchase it... but that's probably your three options. For Isida, stay close to your team. Healing them constantly can get you into first place rather quickly and effeciently. Of course you'll suffer a few deaths from the opposing team if they manage to get through, but make sure you've got a strong tank to back you up ;)

Sure, you can try Roger later on in the Future if you like, but there are some paints that have better Protection against it.

And if you know how to use Freeze, you should be able to take out Isidas and Twins rather easily. :)

Isida's I can take out easily yes, but twins Is hard to escape from far away. But I think I will go with cedar. Thanks for the advice! (though I really like the way electra looks :D
