Turrets Should Be Able to turn Up and down by Players themselves!

Recommended Posts

In world of tanks, turret can be controlled vertically but most of the players here reject this idea mainly because they are in lack of skills or probably haven't played a proper tank game ----World of tanks before which is the reason why they are too stubborn to accept this idea,as you can see obviously.

anyways just forgive me if i offended you in anyway but you need to stop saying that high ranked players dont have skills and all.

we first tried to give genuine reason that why this idea isnt good for Tanki. even developer replied to you. so you should understand.

It is OK, you are not offending me.  I have not said high ranking players do not possess skills.  I have said that autoaim provided devices do not require very much skill!

Autoaim gives you the opportunity to concentrate on other controls.

Especially when handling a fast hull like Wasp or Hornet (the most popular hull) you are already

pretty busy controlling your hull, turret and cameraview all at the same time.

Tanki Online is an arcade game, so it 's fast certainly when compared to it 's more to realism orientated brother WOT.

Those WOT tankers have plenty of time to move their turrets up and down, in TO only the heavy hulls wouldn 't

have too much problems with it, players with light and medium hulls would imo certainly suffer.

Why make an fast arcade game too complicated?

I really like the relatively small amount of controls, which means you can fully focus on your screen and gameplay

instead of your keyboard.

Then leave Tanki Online and play World of Tanks. :)

Since you implied that Tanki Online is not a proper tank game without being able to control a turret vertically. Then go play WoT. After all, the Developer already said NO. Why are you suffering? Oh, right. Tanki Online is already an incredible game that plays directly in your browser without downloading, with already awesome graphics, and controls. Perhaps you haven't figured out how to really use your camera, and controls, that's why gameplay is so boring for you. Lol.

As for lack of skills. . . I'm sorry, do you have a higher ranked account? Maybe if you get more experienced with the game and how it works in the upper levels where there are lightning-fast M3 Wasp/Hornets on drugs, then you'll be able to see things from a different perspective, instead of slow M0/M1 Tanks that gives you enough time to really aim. I am sure you have a higher ranked account if you're going to insult everybody like that, right?

And auto-aiming isn't an unfair advantage if everyone can do it.

WoT and Tanki Online are different games. Why don't you go on Youtube and watch some gameplays of it? Maybe then, you'll understand.

But calling everyone who disagrees with your ideas a person with no skill, is highly ignorant, not to mention the Devs already said no. Do you know who a Developer is? Lol.

Agreeing with Hazel_Rah, this feature isn't necessary at all, and the game works better with the auto-aim that anyone can use. And if you have so much skill, then apply it elsewhere, and triumph against your opponents that way. I'd rather have Devs focus on better, and more important, and majority-pleasing updates.

Make sure to read the whole post so you don't miss anything.

It must be some kind of infection LOL!

A game is launced and everybody loves it, it's plain, simple controls, easy to master, F-U-N.

Then, one day, someone starts mambling about "realism" and more complex controls, and natural feel etc etc.

Soon, ten fingers are not enough to handle the controls and after you manage to do it, you get an official degree equal to the real item, be it tank, plane, space shutle....

Please, no. We are not here to learn how to drive a real tank. We are here to have fun driving a simplified virtual vehicle...

We like it simple and fun.

Sorry ELIZABETH1122I don't mean to oppose you but I really think turrets are more or less ok and they don't need more controls. Shaft has a reason to be like that, it is already explained. Besides, it can shoot witout the sniper mode, just like every other turret in TO  ;)

Rustynail,

I do not believe that shaft aught to have Autoaim on cascade, in any case in cascade mode it id only about 20%.  Autoaim not only does the elevation and depression it also compensates for inaccuracy of the aimed shot  laterally.  In other words it flatters the user by making hits when off target side to side.  Surely that is not acceptable.  One either hits a target by good aim or not.  With Railgun this is easy to see, shoot with the barrel slightly off target and miraculously the shot hits the target, it does happen with some other turrets also but is difficult to see because of no trace.  It is virtually impossible to avoid being hit once Railgun has aimed, even when dodging behind a wall. I have even been hit through a wall after dodging on more than one occasion and I know that has been reported on before!  The only way to avoid being hit by Railgun once it has started the shot , that is once it lights up is to put a bullet into it first, a fraction of a second before it has released its bolt no good suddenly hiding, jumping of the wall or anything else.  That is because Autoaim follows the target.

I do not mind opposition particularly when some attempt is made to explain a position, some sort of balanced argument, so your post is perfectly fine by me.  I do not see why 10 fingers need to be used, unless your moving the camera as well at the same time.  All guns get de-tuned over time and I guess that will happen with Railgun when Tanki wants to promote another Turret or bring in a new one.  Shaft is but a shadow of its former self, it is very emasculated compared to what it was once and that can happen with other weapons too.
