Design your own paint protection

U can do another limitation that has special calculation that limitates the each choices of players. Also make the price suitable for each paint. Obviously don't give options for 50% everything or 6 protections in 1 paint but make up certain combo is fine .. For example I want a paint that has high smoky and high thunder protection... I don't think that exist currently? Edit: I spelt something wrong

Why unfair? All players want use paint for weak count guns so, all tanks looks "hunter" or "defender". İt sounds good. So now, much players looks "hunter" but no more "defender"

 

Example i want high railgun-ricochet maybe, low thunder-smoky paint. İ use shaft-dictator sometimes. With this paint, and with good position, looks "defender". Because paint for weak count guns.

 

Or high railgun-shaft paint, maybe low twins-smoky-thunder and wasp-freeze looks "hunter" because paint for strong count guns.

 

Second much possible then first.

:rolleyes:  ;) I really like this idea, me and my brother also thought of this, great minds think alike! But I have one suggestion....  There should be a total of 90 protection, you can deprecate it into all guns evenly, so all would protect a little, or you could let's say, keep it together, and maybe have protection from shaft 90%. I think you should pay crystals to do it, cause if it was free, then there would be no need for green when you start out. So I really agree, but I think the amount of protection you can do should be limited, depending on how much you pay.

I like the idea of an end game paint that allows you to hide your chosen protections from others.  Perhaps at a penalty of total damage reduction over other similarly ranked paints.  Even if it protects less overall it would throw opponents off guard because they would not know how many shots it would take to kill you.

wow,wow youve gone too far ! then godmodeon will me like a cry buyer with his paint . we like it how it is. how will i ever kill someone with -90% of something

I agree with my colleague Archangel, this would throw the balance of the game off. The suggestions above to go along with it are even more extreme and unlikely to help the idea get to a higher level when its base is already faulty; If you give freedom of protection choice, the game will be chaos.

I don't like this idea, as I like to know what I'm dealing with. For example, when I'm playing with railgun I'd rather shoot the person without protection than the person with protection against me, this can make the difference between a one-shot kill and a wasted shot. A paint like this would make the outcome of a duel during a battle unpredictable and not skill-based.

The paint protection is calculated and balanced in a special way, so that no player has unfair advantage.

 

Accepted.

Would it be an unballancing factor if a certain paint gave a variety of choises with a specific total protection, say 55% for up to three different guns and the player chooses the percentage for each?

Or it would be an issue (I gess it would) if other palyers wouldn't know exactly what protection does this paint carry?
