Ideas for Parkour!

I'd like having infinite health (perhaps even infinite supplies..?) in parkour mode tbh, but being able to jump around and mess with the gravity is a bit too much ?

  • We don't have to worry about getting destroyed in the middle of doing Parkour, and continue without any issues.

But if we add the jumping ability and gravitational changes feature, then it would not be that much of Parkour.

  • We should be doing Parkour with the Hulls that we have, and their mechanics.
  • But you can use Hopper to add a jumping mechanism to your Parkour.

You can buy and use any Turret/Hull, ... in the test server, and do Parkour with this too!

The purpose of parkour teams is achieving parkour stuns using their creativity with the tanks/turrets, showing that even due to the limitations of physics and gravity, you can reach spots that seem unreachable.

Adding stuff like this would just make everything too easy, removing the fun and the purpose of the parkour mode.

Simple as that.

Noope I think Parkour mode guarantee for Tanki a good revenue by its players. There are a many players who are just playing 24/7 in Parkour without playing such a single other mode.. I knew a lot who have spent more than +500hrs in Parkour.  Ok and for sure many of them (the buyers) spend a lot and a lot of money to buying everything and every Augment and infinity RKs + Mines to wreck everyone in Parkour. And for sure Gauss EMP is approx. the worst thing in Parkour, it's literally destroyed any fight against any buyer, and I think myself Tanki is intentionally haven't nerfed EMP Gauss just for Parkour players.

So I don't consider Parkour as a secondary mode, but I think it have its affect in the game and maybe developers make some balancing things just for Parkour players.

Playing in Parkour without buying will put you in a huge and unbelievable disadvantage, against Heavy Weights(??) and EMP Gausses and infinity supplies. There are a certain player who have spend more than 23 Millions supply just in the Mines ?

Parkour maps for who trying to marginalize them are a very popular, and it compose more than 30% of regular pro-battles maps and if you entered test server you will see them composing more than 80% of the maps maybe.    They're giving Tanki a constant revenue by their player, many players/buyers will leave if there wasn't a Parkour maps.

But for my opinion, Tanki developers sucked it too much with Parkour non-buyers. They're unashamedly gave the buyers unbelievable advantages in Parkour, Heavy Weight or EMP Gauss are completely OPs. Parkour maps wasn't with this suckness in the past 3 years, yes buyers had a very strong advantages and you can't attack Mammoth + Twins M3 with infinity druggers. But now they sucked it too much with Heavy Weight and other sucks.  If you haven't understood what I wrote !! please go to a Parkour map, and test your luck

I think the main point of Parkour mode is to do cool tricks with other players, so it doesn't have to be TDM, CTF, or any game mode like that, it's just parkour, it has its unique game mode. You won't have to worry about getting destroyed if they added an infinite health option or maybe infinite supplies, so we can do some cool tricks with mines. The other things I mentioned in this topic maybe a little too much but the infinite health and supplies option makes sense and should be added. That would make the buyers have no advantage over the non-buyers since it's all just about doing tricks and jumping around.

It's parkour, not a flexing contest to see who is the most powerful and has the most mines.

Battles list are fulfilled with Silence 10vs10 Parkour, you convince me that all of the 10v10 players are joining to contribute in Parkour or what?

Nope, Parkour maps are just for chilling out and taking some fun. I usually love to flip other people and the other players loving to chilling out in Chat with friends or some annoying buyers who loves to filling the map with their Mines. As I said to you Parkour mode guarantee for Tanki a very good revenue by its buyers who spend their hours in the day just in Parkour.

And to be honest, there is no meaning of parkour nowadays. A space mode with Ricochet allows you to reaching the farthest building in Tanki easily. Believe me if Parkour mode was with your suggestion to be in a very peace and no fighting, it will be sucks and I wont play in it ever.    What parkour you want to do in Silence if there was no fights? Going on the top of the wall in blue team and repeating it every time?? what a sucks thing!!!

So in real no one take it as a real Parkour, it's only for fights. I think in its initials there was some players who taking it as a real Parkour (2017).. But now everything is a bad routine and you see the map is filled with Heavy Weights?

The only real Parkour if you want is with your friends in a private map with no Space mode activating. And for sure you wont do this because it's a really sucks, the same thing applied to public Parkour maps.

Well I often had to wait for that period of time just to respawn. I prefer to die right away and respawn.

For other battles, we don't flip over that much, and enemies can kill you before the timer stops, thus saving you from losing points

Well, it's a small feature so a mod can tell if it's really needed or not.

No, SelfDestruction time is a punishment for the players who got flipped, they have to wait. Now it's very short 3s and a short while for respawning. But it used before a years to be 10s for SD and the respawning time was 12s so = 22s.

I'm not suggesting to return these 22s because it was a farce, but I see now it's very short they have to increase it. And delete the Auto-SD from Settings

i suggest add ignore damage option for parkour mode ( so we can enable disable it ) 
so both teams wont get demage if they shot each other use overdrive or shot themselves. 
u get knock-back from weapons but u dont get damage.
sometimes its annoying when buyers kill you in parkour so it will be solution.

in first place: NON-USABLE IN MM battles. only useable in pro battles if the creator of the battle anable the option to have this tank.

 

1.the parkourer hull (or whatever it's named) is easy to be flip with other turrets.

2.parkourer hull without any suplies and drones (crisis or trickster) it goes the same speed of wasp mk8 with crisis drone (with speed suplie)

3. parkourer hull and turret are pettry light

4. parkourer hull have infinite life (to not be killed by helper and mines)

5.alteration for this hull is useless

6.turning speed fast, a bit more than wasp.

7. parkourer hull stop very fast (at the max speed it will take 0.5 seconds to totaly stop)

8. parkourer hull and turret are free and don't have upgrade (already mk8) (mk8 = mk7-20)

 

7.parkourer turret shoot rate is very very fast: 0.05 cooldown (1 shot in the middle like ricochet)

8. shoot range is infinite

9. enemies turn red when in the way but with parkourer turret make allies also turn red (or yellow to the two)

10. can shoot indefinetly

11. deal 0 damage

12. parkourer turret have a huge turning speed

13. parkourer hull and turret are unlocked at the same rank as the pro battles its unlocked

14. no protection for it. it deal 0 damage

15. after shooting we have the trajectory of the shoot like magnum

16. push well players

17. i think i forgot somethings, so comment what i forgot if i forgot something

ps: i know that it's a hull AND a turret but it's the same idea so.. i don't know if the 2 will be taken into cosideration, i think i have a good idea here

The idea of parkouring is to have some challenges while trying to go above a certain building, what's the meaning of parkour if you have a well cooked tank for parkour.

+ The Parkour maps in pro battles aren't intended for parkouring honestly, it's the place where you see 9999GS players. And it generate way too much money for Tanki, I see buyers in these battles more than MM. So in no way your idea will be accepted.

Well, there's Hopper...

If you want to practice parkour, no one is forcing you to use Hopper or this hull. You could just ignore its existence and continue using conventional hulls to do complex parkour tricks. But a hull like this would be fun for parkour amateurs, who just want to do some simple tricks, but don't feel like assembling a skilled crew and spending hours attempting the same jump over and over again.
