The "Experiment" of crystal drops

The new Predictable Drops update with the new crystal boxes was good, but it has it's own bad sides too. It increased the fun in Deathmatch mode, but there was too many mults in team battles. I find that the experiment has many downsides, but it's interesting to see what will happen. However, I find that a week is too long, and has ruined my savings for christmas.

 

First of all, the "Experiment" has some great improvements in team battles. The crystal hunters in team battles have completely disappeared, as they can't hunt something that doesn't exist :lol: . But, battles like CTF have increased the amount of druggers, as they want the fund. Which makes that non-drugger people, most likely non-buyers, will not get too much fund, and they won't get an extra income from the crystal boxes. That consloation prize, which make them stay in the battle will disappear. Which is very bad, because they will wait the boxes to be back, and leave the game for a while. Well teamed battles are now very boring, with only 1 goal, which is Capture the flag, capture points or kill tanks. The crystal drops added something special... something fun... something to stand for. But how did this affect Deathmatches?

 

To begin this, I want you to know that I am a Deathmach player FOREVER. I love Deathmatch and always play it. In my opinion, this "Experiment" has ruined Deathmach in a certain way, after the Predictable Drops update made it so fun, because it added a new goal in Deathmatch: Fight for the boxes. Free for all, that's what it was. A very fun thing, to kill people to the "mini goldbox", and having a lot of fun (with people swearing xD).   Now, it is boring, and the crystals in the fund goes only to the druggers, and kit buyers, as they have good equipement, OP paints and powerups. Normal players, and even low equipement players get almost nothing, wherever they go. As Gold Box is rare, and hard to get, and they don't get much fund. As an example, last 2 days, I got 22k crystals. No lies, double funds and 100 boxes, got me very rich. Today, I played half an hour and got exactly 200 crystals. No more no less, and I feel like I just wasted my time. Taking off the boxes in Deathmatch is bad, it takes the fun too, and those "mini hunger games". I think something about the mutls should be done in team battles, but you have NO REASON, to touch the Deathmatches.

If this is your opinion then why post in ideas and suggestions? Do you even understand what Ideas and Suggestions means?

 

Post your opinion in that topic I mentioned. That is the correct place to post opinions about certain updates.

When I first started playing I liked crystal drops. I was always destroyed quickly and crystals kept me involved in the game.

Now I am further through the ranks I can see how they help new players. There is often a disparity in battles between lower and higher ranks. Usually the teams with higher ranks win. 

 

I would like to see crystal drops available on a sliding scale: available to lower ranks but a cut off point for higher ranks. This should be set up at the creation of the battle. If you don't want crystal drops then you choose. If you do then you can choose which ranks they are available for.  

 

Win - win result.

In team battles they are a distraction, so it encourages mults. It wouldn't work to have them back, in team battles I suggest a max amount of 20 crystals per box. In Deathmatch, it adds the fun of a goldbox, but like a surprise. It makes it more fun.
