i think hammer needs an indirect buff compared to freeze and firebird .not a damage or range or reload buff  .just a 5-10 percent decrease in pellet spread .otherwise the damage scatter  is just too much

which is an alteration .i was talking about stock ..i believe it would make hammer strong enough but not op .just a tiny pellet spread decrease

I know. But if that's done, pairing it with Slugger, it will be OP.

well compared to stuff like vulcan+burn immunity +incendiary band its not that op .the max damage will be constant ,but it wont increase will it?just the accuracy .compared to HCAC ,duplet and dragon breath i dont think people will use slugger just to get the same damage as a point bank shot

i think even people would be more worried about gauss ,vulcan,magnum and rail .so they'd use prot modules against those

It’s doing quite well in its current state imo. And tbh it has too much range for it to be considered as a close range weapon.

actually its a close-mid range weapon .the pellet spread really needs to be decreased or else point -blank shots are the only thing that causes good damage .hammer is supposed to be a short -ranged railgun but its weaker .much weaker

Well it’s high damage compensates for that pellet spread, also you could get the slugger alt.

high damage?gauss has like 400-500 more damage than it in salvo and its arcade reload is faster too .ik about slugger but seriously hammer needs a buff.either  in damage or pellet spread decrease   .if its a short range weapon it should be able to get rid of freeze and firebird .usually its not .the pellet spread is just ridiculous

I think that stock hammer could use a 100-200 points of damage buff to make it competitive to its alts.

Hello there! I hope everyone is staying safe!  I would like to ask: is the "High-Capacity Ammo Clip" alteration a good solid cop? Does the Hammer have other alterations that would work better for my circumstances? When I use Hammer in team battles, I usually pair it with Viking. I'm not much of a DM player.

i use high capacity ammo clip and im not good with hammer but that alt is really really good .packs 5 solid punches and the reload is same .but u should consider sledgehammer for ur thunder over this

everything is the same as stock hammer, except slugger has more range and slower turret turning speed
