The shaft laser scope , I imagine , would suck for snipers with shaft , as everyone knows when a shaft is going to snipe you . The other update .... It's finally a good update ! The night mode is really good , I like the glowing drop zones and flags , can you do more updates like that ( I mean GOOD )

A real sniper does not need a laser to aim and fire!

Those who one need for a laser do not deserve a 'shaft'.

Furthermore, to change rules in the course of game is not very correct: we put a lot of time and crystals to improve our turret.

Bring the innovations to the new turrets or to the volunteers, but leave the 'shaft' of origin to those who know how to fire without laser!

This update completely ruins the shaft from a tactical standpoint.

The beam across the whole map essentially gives everyone a crystal clear target to shoot at.The whole point of having a long range gun is to hide and shoot from cover.

To those complaining about the shaft hitting them unexpectedly, perhaps you shouldn't just drive willy nilly through wide open spaces and leave yourself open to attack.

You can see the direction the shaft is hitting from if you watch it hit another tank. Easy way to find the sniper and kill them either with another shaft or with a short range gun. That's how to beat them. And it takes skill. Just like sniping.

The shaft already has plenty of disadvantages:

slow reload time

slow turn speed

low power hits in arcade mode

high recoil

shake in sniper mode (which should be kept because it forces the player using it to have skill)

It was mentioned earlier that they could change the laser to a dot on the target. I think this sounds like a much better idea.

I agree, please let shaft to be what it is - a sniper!

There's something weird; my M1 Shaft is shooting completely yellow shots, the same color as M0 Shaft, when it should be yellowish-orange.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

no i only have m0 because i dont use shaft much but my brother has it

The laser scope for shaft isn't a good idea because shaft is a gun supposed to be sniping and not being seen by players so please remove it
At least remove it from the day modes and keep it in the night modes so it can be fair for all players.
P.S: why don't you add the laser scope to the railgun instead of the shaft ? ;)

I have a second account in which i am WO 4 and i have shaft m1.

WELL DONE DEVS ! Have a cookie ...

I just love the update. I hadn't thought of it myself so it was a nice surprise.

Shaft is stable now and the laser sight scares the hell out of the enemy.

IMO it gives shaft a more interactive role bc people run away from the laser sight.

A good job well done. This is my second post congratulating TO on an update, which makes a change from complaining about a bad development.

Scares the enemy? No, never.  Only in the imagination of the developers.

In fact, last night I played Silence night mode as a shaft/mammy just to see the impact of the laser on a smaller map. Not only does it not scare anyone....it draws a straight line back to the sniper's position.  It allows noobs (and unskilled players) -- assuming they are not complete morons -- to completely avoid the snipers' paths. It also gives noobs and unskilled snipers with 20/200 vision a big old neon arrow that says "shoot here".

This is a clear sign to me that the developers are either young, or have no military experience, or perhaps both.  No military strategist or weapons developer would say let's take this slow turning, slow loading, terrible short range weapon and add a laser beam for the enemy's benefit to counter it's primary purpose in battle. Might as well sit in a circle, hold hands and sing Kumbaya.

My suggestion to place a red laser dot on the target surface makes 1000% more sense and is more true to life without being a dead giveaway designed by people who lack the expertise to know any better. I'm not a fan of the laser dot either...but if the developers really really really feel the pressing need to give hints to opponents, then that's the way to go.

1. Remove the update for shaft

2. Keep the laser but shoudln't be visible to anyone else...

3. If you don't intend on doing any of these things, give shaft more power and less reload time or remove the ruined gun completly from the game and give us our money back...

I can't detest against these disadvantages any longer!

I have to say that I do not like this update

this update took the fun from shaft

just like every weapon......shaft had its own special things......its own techniques

now its not unique anymore......its like railgun except worse

shaft had its ups..........and it has its downs

most of the ups are now taken away from shaft.......hiding......able to shoot someone without him knowing where you are or knowing that you were going to shoot at him

tanki took too many ups and only one down......and that is the shaking in sniping mode

still so many downs left......

trying to kill a hornet or wasp in sniping mode when they are right next to you and going around you with a freeze or firebird

it is almost impossible to kill a ricochet up close in sniping mode when he is shooting you.....due to how powerful his shots are to take your aim off target

tanki didn't take these downs to shaft away they took most of the good away
