Just fought a generalissimo battle in my higher acc and damn its nearly unstopable when drugged even if your team mates are helping fighting against it.

I think the main problem with this Turret balance is that the overheating doesnt do enough damage, I've seen a lot of Mammoths and Titans shooting for AGES even when not drugged, and they weren't even using a Firebird paint.

I feel like Overheating should do more damage, and maybe being able to shoot a little longer for M0-M2 modifications.

Even on a mammy m3, overheating is still a killer....it is perfect as it is! (maybe it's because I'm using it in its raw form)

No, overheating should do more damage, because we have people firing for 30 or 40 seconds, and the only cure is a sneaky Shaft shot or pushing them backward over a mine. You almost have to attack Vulcan from two opposing directions, so that one guy takes the damage while the other shoots it repeatedly with impunity. For those who don't mind being sitting ducks, it is practically OP.

Really? I guess it depends if the Vulcan user uses protective fire bird paint... So far I'm unable to fire 30 to 40 seconds without Mammy M3 burning up. (Without Firebird paint and clean Vulcan) Again, I might be wrong in this.

After making everything M4 with Zeus, I will post here if that's true. Also I think I saw you in a battle the other day, you're the guy with Hammer/Hunter M3... (If I'm not mistaken. )

Yes it is OP.

It is good for bussines....

People buy crystal.

People buy new weapon.

On video blog You can say that the problem was in not buying 40-50% paint.

Ofcourse - where was analistic team :) hahahahaha

And in practice you need 2 tanks at least to kil this weapon good placed in combat.

This is very clearly bussines weapon.

Buy more.

Want more.

And I want it NOW.

All the best and from NOW.

hahahahah :)

Ilusion...

One day - is the day when You need to woke up.

Do you try to get close to a Vulcan instead of trying to fight it at range? Because people should know the Vulcan's weakness is at Close-range, and what I'm seeing is that most are trying to trade shots with this weapon. Even when people come at me with melee weapons like Firebirds, they just sit there in front of the turret and hope they deal more damage, instead of circling it.

You can't beat a Vulcan at Long-range, even if you are in a Mammoth. The only exceptions are Shaft and Rail if they haven't been spoted yet. Pretty much the same way you can't beat a fully-loaded Hammer at Close-range, unless you're a Freezer and start circling it.

Vulcan sucks with dealing with multiple enemies at once.

so are many other weapons, circle vulcan? BS, u cant, u still get damaged if u arent using a wasp or hornet, but u would be dead before attempting to circle

Depends on the skill level of the user and of course team. I know because I'm using M3 Vulcan myself.

But ah well, maybe you're right.

MU's to "Time before Overheating"(reload time) will affect that. At long range what you do not see with a Vulcan firing forever, is that player  using using health Kits right before they explode(the wrench is hard to see), which brings their cooling back to normal and their health back to full. Also you may or may not see any isidas or freezes helping out. The Isida beam can be seen for quite a distance if the Vulcan flash does not obscure it.

Believe me , if you see a Vulcan "firing forever" he is prolly burning through health kits as well, which is the most expensive drug in game.

All these people who think Vulcan is OP, here is simple advice (Don't be in front of (line of fire /Line of sight) of a Vulcan when they are firing).  You go head to head with a firing  Vulcan at range you deserve to lose. Never fight any weapon on their "best" terms.

I think the difference between modifications is far too little. It's very hard to tell the difference between m1 and m2, for example. I think the model needs to be updated, just like Hammer was. For now Vulcan looks too "plain" compared to the other guns. Don't you agree?

The OP should also be updated to match the other turret discussion pages. Could a moderator come and edit the OP?

I love Vulcan! (And Titan too)

Looks like my tank on Stadium and sometimes Monte Carlo.

Hope you have not sunk a ton of money into that thing (like M2), because they are going to nerf the "stuff" out of Vulcan. Halving the long range dam and increasing heat damage by 50%. 6/sec to 9/sec.

Titan is going to be a very manuverable tank and quick.

Where did you get the info about the changes? They didn't mention anything about the range in the V-Blog, just overheating.

Try this , it is from the introductory page of the developer's topic, this confirms it , not sure if this is the first place I heard of . It is a spreadsheet of the proposed changes https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zpPsJqEZ6NaPXbXC3r1u9SmdnzMzCCvqARgld7kmVZE/edit#gid=0
