It should be a long range gun, but they halved the Range and lowered the damage.

As for the Firebird paints, yes, they help... in fact, you can't use Vulcan without one. And don't even try to upgrade it to the next M without purchasing the next Firebird painting. Zeus is an end-game, most people don't have it, and probably never will because of that prices (maybe battle-funds will increase as I Rank-Up, you may know that better than me... :huh:).

 

The problem with Twins losing to Vulcans at short range was mostly for two things: 1) They were coming head-on and never exploited Vulcan's slower rotation; 2) Twins mostly use light to medium hulls, while Vulcans use mostly heavy hulls.

I also use to play Twins, and circling them does work, unless if one other enemy tank joins the party. I was also expecting a nerf to Vucan, especially to the Over-heating damage, but I wasn't expecting a nerf to such scale. The only thing they increased was Impact Force, which is something that could actually be removed from Vulcan, since it has almost no impact to the enemy tank and only pushes you back (even on Mammoth).

I know about circling them, but it can happen only in big maps and so hard to achieve in the common maps like polygon and silence .. anyway .. am waiting just for the unity player to bring back life to the game ..

roughly 10% weaker.
Between 10 and 50% slower (depending on M)
Between 25 and 50% more self damage

Weaker impact force. cant be bothered to calculate rest.

 

vulcan is the only gun I ever bought. I used smokey m0 that everyone starts with, and was saving for m2 vulcan.
It seems useless now. Guess i will try World Of Tanks instead.

it must be very annoying for people who have spent real money on this gun. To buy loads of (very very expensive) crystals to upgrade the gun, and then have the game nullify the effects of the upgrades. What a bargain.

Anyone noticed the "accidental buff" Devs will give Vulcans with the new MU system? :ph34r:

Think about it: a fully Micro-Upgraded M2 will have the same parameters as a M3. Overheating damage increases with each M. So, we can just Upgrade 99% of the M2, so that it will be pretty much the same as M3 without increasing overheating! :D

I'm using it :) Until Rico M2. Currently it's harder to get first 2 and my position in winning team is usually 3 - 4 in poly. Might get Vulcan m2 in sale but it seems not much difference between m1 n m2. Maybe 7-8 damage help, I dk.

^ m0,1,2,3 all look similar :rolleyes:

I said before and I'll say it again, Vulcan needs a model update like what happened to Hammer. Modifications just look too similar, compare it to the other turrets and it just looks off. :unsure:

Shame on you!

It's not that they lied. It's just that they didn't share everything they've changed. They do this all the time. Hidden updates playing sneaky so they think you won't catch them in the act. They knew that if they said what they were really doing, even more players would be angry with the update, and they would lose revenue that way. Which is why a lot of these things are kept "under wraps" so to speak.

 

Either that, or they simply forgot to mention it. :P

Day 14 after the rebalance, I only saw 4 Vulcan M2 users in my rank so far...

And no, I'm not exaggerating.

I've seen a trio of Vulcans since the rebalance in Noise CTF and since I was on a drug-to-rank spree at that time with my M2 Thunder, they got bopped.

I have literally only seen ONE Vulcan. It was M2, with an M1 Viking and Alien paint. Seriously, these things are getting so rare, it'd pay better to put them in a museum. (Or a mausoleum...)

I think it's a bit too late for a World Wide Vulcan Preservation Fund. Pretty close to extinct at my rank.

i want to get vulcan m2 but i have to save for m1 first 

i have a lot more skill with vulcan than i do with freeze, i learned this on my back up account thegreencross

Vulcan is back to its power

be happy vulcan players, the most annoying until now is to have vulcan in a battle, it still can defeat fully MUed twins, and smoky

What do you mean? It's still the same parameters post-rework as far as I see... :huh:

they don't mention every change within the stats , there are things like the heating up and aiming can be changed accordingly
