I'm getting Mammy M1 and Vulcan M1 on my alt.

I suggest a medium hull for Vulcan, it'd make you much more versatile.

I'm trying to get Dictator M2 and Vulcan M2 for my alt, but I'm still 30k from my goal.

Meh. Mammy M1 was my main hull from WO1 - Captain xD

I tested vulcan M0 with 450 hp mammoth + inferno 41% anti fire

it kept shooting exactly for 2:55 min before self destructed :P

that with around 24 dps is... 175x24=4200 damage,impressive (quite slow,but impressive)

well i use this vulcan zero MU sometimes with no need to use anti fire, and its quiet good :P

At 30 meters standing there I guess so, But at say, 80 meters, it is around 15 points a second.

 

Look at some other   M3 weapons and see what their DPS is at 80 meters. 

 

While I salute the idea of using an M0 Vulcan in M3/high rank battles , so it can shoot forever; It is still pathetic in strength  compared to actual/other M3 weapons, unless I guess if those M3 players you are facing are actually lousy players(rank not withstanding), playing the game too long, buying ranks and high M weapons  and making the same errors as NOOBs still.

I did like it at first & thought that it would be a weapon to beat all others combined

but it does have it`s flaws & all the older turrets does not only hold their own against it but do perform better in so many ways.

Whats a good medium hull for it? I have Hunter already, and I'm considering buying this m2

Something a bit heavier might function better with it; have you tried Titan or Dictator?

Twins is fun to play with after using Smoky for so long, but the gameplay just gets... obnoxious after some time. "Pew pew pew pew pew..."

Vulcan is so UP now >_>

 

vulcan to me still seems pretty powerful really..

Completely agreed, not only the damage, but also its impact force! So fearful!

I remember when I was in a Serpuhov CTF with 2 enemy Vulcan-Mammoths guarding the flag with 2 Isida healers.

Let's just say that no one capped a flag for 30 minutes. I myself couldn't get a proper shot at them since the impact force of two Vulcan M2.5s kept tossing me and my teammates around. We only finally capped a flag once a drugger with Thunder-Viking-Hive joined my team.

What's that "Impact force" everyone talks about? You won't make anyone lose aim of you with a Vulcan unless it's a Wasp and maybe a Hornet. If the target is mid-air, then it will probably start spining, but other than that, it has more influence in your tank than in the enemy's tank.

It's possible to shake off enemy aim with Vulcan, but only with enough I.F. mods, and even then, with at least mid-long distance inbetween you and the shooter. Shoot both ends of their tank, switching between left and right corners, and they'll have trouble compensating for the knockback.

However, if they know what you're trying to do, they'd most likely aim somewhere in the middle or use cover to minimize sway.

You forgot to mention that the modification of the turret has to be one higher than the modification of the hull in question.  <_<
