Oh man i an getting so sick of this weapon! When you can shoot clear across a map and knock a m3/4 viking around methinks op is a understatement lol, lets not even get into the ability to shoot around corners for gawd sake, and try getting near one when they are shooting you,not gonna happen.

M2 vulcan, worth the buy? it's competitors are ricochet m2 and hammer m2, please choose wisely

Depends on where in the field you like to play.

Hammer is mainly a close ranged Thunder. Y'know, except its shooting intervals are less consistent and its impact force is far more powerful. Also, no recoil damage! Hurrah! Perfect for maps that have a bit of space between hiding places. Make sure to mark those lovely spots that are indeed available, however. You'll need 'em after expending your clip.

However, if mid-fielding on angular maps is your cup of tea, take Ricochet out for a spin. With plasma blasts bouncing off walls and smacking hapless campers, you're almost guaranteed to hit every time if you know where to shoot. IF you trust your shot leading skills, you can use this on wide plains, as well. It has a higher cumulative damage rate than Hammer, but it usually takes longer to finish off an opponent.

M2 Vulcan functions a bit like Shaft: find a nice, comfy place to camp on a large to mid-sized map, add a Double Armor, and fire away. The biggest difference here, though, is the hull selection: keep something heavy in your arsenal. Dictator, Titan and Mammoth are all great candidates for this.

If you like fighting from a distance, get Vulcan. If you like getting up closer, Hammer or Ricochet will do.

Thanks alot! I think i'm sticking to ricochet, since i like to play on maps like highland, dusseldorf and noise, the ricochet will help ALOT in tunnels, vulcan m2 ismore of a campers weapon, therefore its out, my m1 ricochet and m1 hunter can still stand up against m2 twins and m2 viking on island if i play stategicly, we won 53-21, with my score being 3k and others around 2.5k and 2k, also there was some dude using vulcan that kept dying before his barrels could even satrt spinning XD

I'm running a m2 Hunter and m2 Vulcan with Sandstone paint. I find this combo is very effective. I'm usually going up against rails, shafts and thunders and I tear them up. The Hunter gives you decent speed and almost as much protection (with a few MU's) as a Viking. With Sandstone paint you become the hunter instead of the hunted. I also find that it is also great for disrupting another teams defense. You either take them out or cause them to withdraw which lets your teammates go on the offense. To be effective you have to take advantage of cover, your weapon cycle time and your opponents weapon cycle time. Also when possible make strategic mu's to the turret, hull and paint. If you do, this gun is great fun and you will consistently end up at the top of any match. Instead of fearing rails and shafts, you will hunt them! Lastly be sure to take out short range turrets before they get in their range to be effective against you. If you don't they can become a major irritant, if you know what I mean. LOL

If only the reload time of this turret lasts for a longer time, it will be one of the best turrets in tanki. Sadly, Few tankers equip this turret. I think it is the least used in tanki.

and where all the non druggers/ vulcan users go, I forget who told me this but damn is it true. No I cant chat with em but I can use my vulcan withoutfear of  some nub out drugging me

Vulcan is the only turret I do not have in my garage. I find it to be the most annoying one. If one is hitting me the impact force preventing me from turning at all is way OP.

so because you hate people using it against you, you refuse to use it against others... I dont see your logic, unless of course you are going on strike... never mind the fact that you said that it is way OP... so... I suggest you buy it ?!?

If the rotation while firing is an issue to you try using it with fast turning hull. If you wanna turn quickly to the right turn your turret to the right and your hull to the left. The gyroscope will "give" you some Xtra turning speed and your fires will reach your target faster than turning both on the same side or turning just the turret. It might look weird but it works.

I would but I burn or get killed to fast, I use it with what most people use it with, titan and if i must, mammy
