it's the sound of the hit. I know.

And the impact force, and the damage, and the reload speed, and the range, and the looks, and the turret turning speed, and the auto-aim.  But besides that, it's not really that annoying...

An M2 alteration that completely removes the spin-up time while decreasing the time to overheat would be quite interesting to see, especially for light hulls.

Combine with the M1 alteration and you have an assault rifle-ish platform.

Not at all. Smoky's damage decreases a lot more than Vulcan's damage over distance

I never said Smoky's damage didn't decrease a lot at far range, I said Vulcan's does.  In the Highways Map I've fought Vulcan's and my tank's hp is going down ever so slowly because I am so far away.

Plus, his original question was "does Vulcan's damage decrease over range" and the answer to that is yes, it does. He didn't ask how much.

That is why you use Vulcan at medium ranges.

but the damage you take is more significant! :p

I flank people at a medium distance behind them, and they are destroyed in a few seconds without knowing what happened.

If you want, add my backup account. I have Vulcan and we could 1v1...idk. Sounds fun :P

Get VUlcan protection if you can...helps a lot so you don't have to worry about overheating much. I tested and fired non stop from spawn and rove around the outer edge of the Barda map without dying...took quite a while to die too xD

Do you mean firebird protection?Cause firebird protection is what lessens the overheating.

Firebird protection lessens the afterburn

Firebird is one of the few that mess up vulcan -- I'd get Fire Freeze Rico combo..

When is the glitch where Vulcan does not do damage going to be fixed? It has been like that for a while now. The damage counters help you know when you are not doing damage, but it still disrupts gameplay to have to stop firing and reload.

What I hate in this turrent is that it has a very big angle in autoaim. So you have a noob who just stand in a high place and just keep pressing space and he shoot right left up down with just little movement of his turrent.

This is very annoying, even in stadium map he can still shoot me when im in the central yard to an incredible angle
