i would of though lvl0 and 1 you get 1 gun lvl 2 you get 2 guns on a middle hinge and lvl3 you get 3 miny guns on a hinge .

just a thought.. would look epic.

i got hammer m3 at high and is a damage dealer xD

main advantage over vulcan for hamer is that you can hide while reloading and attack quick with 3 powerfull shots and you can use hide and attack tactics all the time xD

with vulcan you must be exposed to open fire everytime

Yes, so Vulcan will try to catch you on open area, and probably use that gun like open maps!  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

 

I can say lots of map for Vulcan. Stadium, Atra, Arena, Ping-Pong...

In every maps there are open areas.

 

Middle fighters and edge fighters have different advantages and "abilities"

 

Look, you are fightning on middle, vulcan are on edge. Vulcan have an advantage. Edge fighters( shafters, campers, some railgunners, and vulcan) have more knowledge, ability and equipment to look at area and know what is happening. Players like using your equipments are generally careless about evrionment. This is about what you doing.

 

Result, vulcan user will be more "sapient" than you.

I tried Vulcan on stadium, and found it hard to hold my own against mammoth and shaft or smoky and anything. It's too hard to hold on targets far away. I actually did quite well on noise, but it required some anticipation of tank movement. It may seem like a long range gun, but it works better ate medium. It is almost impossible to stay on target at very close or very long distances. Rail is better.

Yes, hard to aim, but impossible to knockaim! :) And, you can kill a shaft while in snipe mode. Moreover, very good weapon to fight against thunder campers(but, we will have to fight agaist vulcan campers!  <_<  <_<  :lol:  :lol: )

This turret needs tweaking. When you fire, it does not accurately "track" your movement, but tends to stay firing at some random point. I cannot get it to stop firing and re-aim, possibly due to induced lag when there is more than one Vulcan being fired. Twins is much more stable and maneuverable. I would like more control over the bursts (2-second, 3-second) because you can't fire indefinitely (unlike Twins).

All in all, a bit disappointing.

 

The M0 and M1 Vulcan are pitifully ineffective against my Viking. The M2 takes more than 15 seconds of fire to kill me.

In the same time, you could fire Thunder 3 times, so it is more of a threat... unless you have the capability to rapidly re-aim, or pivot like Twins while firing.

 

I expected a more powerful "minigun" but I can see where it might be useful if you could get cover.

I can probably add it to the turrets expected on Monte Carlo.
