Just wondering, how's the auto-aim on the Vulcan? Does tipping work smoothly?

Vulcan has pretty good auto-aim. Tipping isn't a very good idea though- you'll only be able to fire at a target while tipping for about half a second or so until your hull bounces back. It's still worth doing if you really need to destroy an enemy, but it just takes a while.

k, thanks.

^ Yeah. My friend uses Vulcan sometimes, and on large maps like Berlin, even with Viking on a planar surface (and a clear firing range), only about 1/8 of his shots hit me.

Yeah, not sure if this is a bug or anything... you need to hit the turret dead on.

It doesn't even recognize the hull.

You can't use Vulcan at long range effectively, while it's a long range weapon.

Thus, taking out a lot of the turret's potential.

Vulcan has issues at long range mostly because of the recoil- if you're far away, the recoil will shift your aim upwards more than your auto aim can adjust. Using a heavy hull can help, but it's still not an ultra-long range weapon.

Gold box will be dropped soon

I think Vulcan isn't good for gold boxes because of somebody flips you sideways, no way of getting back on track and Vulcans recoil is way to weak. This has happened to me numerous times.

The upwards movement will eventually stop though, but Vulcan's auto-aim still hits the turret only.

Or is it microscopically going up and down everytime a bullet is fired?  :P

I agree, but because of the bug?

Or is it supposed to do this...

If you find yourself being flipped frequently while using Vulcan, get out of the Wasp or Hornet. Light hulls are NOT a good idea with Vulcan, and if you're repeatedly getting flipped in Hunter +, then either you're very unlucky or you might be lagging a bit.

To be honest, from the moment a machine-gun in Tanki online was mentioned, I thought, "That's stupid, we already have Twin." I followed that belief, until I decided to try it. I LOVED IT!! I haven't even micro-upgraded but it's very efficient. I like how paints protect you from self-damage, and also its long range. Almost every weapon in the game is efficient only in long or short range. If you haven't bought it you should.

i like it and all the range is outrageous but i don't like how the operation works it doesn't turn as you turn it stays focused on what you initially fired at

u need to turn your turret......

VULCAN IS BORING. IT LOOKS UGLY. IT SHOOTS RUBBISH. THE RANGE AND CONTROLS ARE RUBBISH. THE PARAMETERS ARE EVEN WORSE THAN RICO'S EVEN THOUGH I LOVE RICO. BUT VULCAN I DON'T. IF I HAD THE POWER. I WOULD REMOVE IT FROM THE GARAGE. BECAUSE IT'S ONLY A WASTE OF TIME TO USE IT. A WASTE OF CRYSTALS TO BUY IT. AND A WASTE OF SPACE TO SCROLL IT

actually, vulcan have more range than a thunder(you can see in stats)

and even at about 150 meters,it was still dealing 60 per second!(vulcan m3 standart)

is really impreesive
