before some time, I may not like shaft lazer, since it gives away shaft position.

 

but after some play, the real case is,

 

in big map like kurgur, serpuer,

shaft are normally far away and no one has time to check where is shaft when in busy close battle,

and also lazer help teammates to plan their shots and leave shaft to deal with tough target.

 

in silence and medium map, people already know where to check shaft, so the lazer just a tip to show whether is aiming here or not, reduce shaft's threaten on close range, which compensate more precise aim of shaft.

 

in super big map, shaft are too far away from the rest play, the lazer is the only way to interact with rest the team or enemy, I would say it is more fun that way.

shaft is a team play weapon, so it needs 5-6 players to support it while it survives,

 

so no shaft can't be a solo player like before.

I can survive if I find good rotating camp positions to hide and snipe.

great for finding and killing snipers but crappy when you are the sniper.
