REVERT SHAFT/ ISIDA FIX

Shaft:

This laser update is a bit glitchy. I can physically see that the laser cant touch me, then magically one second later its able to touch me and bam I'm dead. I can also see the laser follow me, hide behind a wall in time, and I'll be sitting behind the wall and die. 

 

I can see how laser was implemented to not make shaft overpowered on maps, but lets be serious. Lasers can easily be hidden behind an object in close view and then pop up and shoot your enemy. This can be done several times without your enemy knowing your location.

 

Why was the swaying removed? Removing the sway on shafts was a REALLY bad idea to say the least. Why not settle for a compromise and make shaft have an option to where you can make your gun stop swaying when zoomed in for a period of time, then it goes back to swaying once again?

 

 

 

Isida:

Please add to where if your team mate dies while you're in the middle of healing them you get xp and points. It's quite a turn-off when your healing your team mate, almost have them healed fully and they die. You receive no xp or points for your effort. Also make it to where if you die while healing your teammate you get points/xp (not sure if its like this already or not).

 

 

 

Railgun:

Occasionally a railgun can shoot you as you are hiding, and even if you are hiding behind a wall and you know that you are hiding, you can die for some odd reason. Is this supposed to be that way?

The shaft and rail gun thing you mention, that would be lag. It happens to me all the time, laser DOES NOT touch me, I hide, then I die. Why? Cos I lag, shaft actually kills you before you hide. You just don't see it that way.

I agree with this and it causes me to have to pause and stop healing so that I get the XP I should be getting.

 

If I get XP for blowing up a tank cooperatively then I should get XP if I am healing and someone is dealt a fatal blow.

Thanks for your feedback man. But often the laser lags. Like it could be 2 inches (screen perception) away from me and the next second kill me. Could be lag, but once again I appreciate you reading and commenting.

I think the issue with shaft and railgun is that if you are lined up when the player shoots it is irrelevant where the laser and railgun effect actually show up - and this is why it appears you get popped even when you thought you moved out of the way.

As everyone said above - the reason you die when you are already behind a wall is because of lag. The delay due to lag means that your opponent still sees your tank and hits you directly, whereas on your screen you are already behind cover, but still get damaged. This applies to EVERY gun, but it's the Shaft and Railgun that make this glitch noticeable. There is no way to fix it other than to increase your Internet speed. It's not a game issue.

@tankzorz Admit it you are a isida user and a shaft hater :P

 

Cause shaft kills you :D

Now this is one of the moments i don't like in the forum some tanker just comes and put every decsion at a disadvantage and also when they are all happy about it about the fact a tanker's account lags, the tanker said he's game lag dude, can't u understand english cos i do and I don't see any where in the topic saying he hates shaft and uses isida. GEEZ some people.

As I pointed out if a person gets XP now for killing a tank (sharing the XP with another player who also dealt damage) then perhaps the following should happen:

 

1. The person healing a tank that is destroyed still gets XP for healing the tank, or

2. The person who destroyed the tank gets less XP because the XP was being increased when it was destroyed.

 

For example if a tank has XP = 10 and the Isida had restored 90% of the tank's health when it was destroyed then the Isida player should get 9 XP and the enemy should get 1. Or, if it isn't feasible to give the XP to the Isida then the enemy should only get 1 XP.

 

This would be similar to two enemies sharing XP.

so this means he is asking to actually nerf shaft a little bit more. when i am already seeing laser as a big disadvantage.

That's a very good idea. Or they could just give the enemy the 10xp for the kill and the healers gets his xp respectively to how much he healed his teammate.

@tankzorz yeah but shaft is already nerfed and that laser got its advantage but there are lot more disadvantages. so if devs are going to nerf it more then it would be better to completely remove shaft

Yes to nerf it would be quite irrational. This thread was created to revert(change back) shaft, or make it to where the shaft still has a sway somehow.

You do get XP while you charge them, even if it's not for full health.

It's lag, same to the "Shaft glitch" which isn't actually a glitch :)
