Tanki is so much better with the gem boxes in it. Now it's way too hard to earn gems. I've had the same ammount for So long.They just came out with the update that had 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, etc.

The 1, 5, 10, etc. crystal boxes were removed because players were abandoning their teams to hunt for them. The devs decided afterwards that the crystal boxes should be added directly to the fund instead of dropping. The fund distribution was changed afterwards, so you'll get a decent payoff even if you're on the losing team.

Wait, I just figured out why we haven't had DF for a long time. Its because we already have DF! But I've seen the Deves rip us off. I was in a Silence game a few days ago, I was killed and the fund only went up by 9, it should of went up by 12, if crys were really added to the funds....

In team battles they were annyoing; getting in my way, that temptation to pick them up at the cost of a flag, etc

Without them there it is better... *but*....

They did help me in some occasions. It was fun to collect them once in a while.

For a win-win scenario - they should bring them back to DM as an option - kind of like how in PRO battle we get to choose what to turn on/off :)

You see, the main reason for why tanki eliminated the CRYSTAL box was because people of much lower ranks (such as warrant officer) would join battles for the colonel rank just to mult and grab all the 100 crystal boxes. This would create an unfair scenario in the battles, where instead of 10 tankers fighting on 10 tankers, it would be more like 9 or 8 tankers fighting on 10 tankers. Tanki is a game of strategy and dedication. People who try their best to do well do not need lower ranked or even higher ranked mults to interfere in their way.

Then you should have stayed in the battle. The reason the fund gets so high these days is because the crystal boxes are being added into the fund directly. If you had played hard and stayed in the battle to the end, you likely would had earned a lot more crystals than you would have earned collecting them and doing nothing else.
