Make General Chat Somewhat Like Battle Chat

When you write something on the general chat, everybody can read it. However, in battle chat, you can address your message to your team only.

 

Why not make it possible in the general chat that when you say: "Baby_Sam: Blah blah blah" only Baby_Sam can see that message. Also add: "Friends: Blah blah blah." for a message only your friends can see. Maybe add something like "Baby_Sam, Baby_Godzilla: Blah blah blah." for a message only Baby_Sam and Baby_Godzilla can see.

 

A step like this makes it much easier for chat mods to do their jobs and makes it easier for everyone to see the messages they are addressed to them. Say I can click a filter that says my messages or whatever to see only the messages addressed to me rather than having them scroll all the way off the screen if I blink or I go to battle, etc.

 

Another suggestion I wanted to make was about servers handling of chat. I suggest making virtual servers, say 100 or 1000 virtual chat servers (even if you only have 10 physical servers), then you can subscribe to chat server 215 regardless of which actual battle server you are logged on. (Actually, I want the battle servers handled in the background and the players have no sense or notion of them. We only care about battles after all. Those should be accessible regardless of the physical server they are on. I only added this here because it is realated, but my topic here is only about making chatting more convenient.)
