Smaller rank groups?!

Recently I've noticed the problem of lower ranks joining m3 battles...

I start a stadium game with my rank as max quite often and it seems this happens a-lot, we will be winning and other team will start to leave and the high levels will see it as a high fund battle and start joining losing team, pretty soon I'm faced with an all m3-m4 team against my guys and half of mine are m1-m2, as some of my good players drift off instead of getting good players who can help secure the win I'm met with m1-m2 "Noobs". This doesnt make for a very fair battle, now i realise the guys love 1 shotting a enemy player with a m3 railgun because he is low rank but not a fun game when your the one with the low ranks..

My suggestion is to shorten the rank differences of players for a game.. Perhaps like m1vsm2, m2vsm3, and m3vsm4 ranks, this way there will not be such drastic group differences...

I have went around trying to find a few as examples...

This is mainly the reason for them staying... v v v They wish for gold-box'es in the high fund battles, and who can blame them? Everyone wants them.. But at the expense of a team losing the victory?

Also there is low level trolls more often than high level'ed ones.. I have had people join and simply try and flip the flag holder over, & over again.

These are the things, the little things that have big affects on players, these type's of players can often make me question, "Why do i play this game?".

I love TO and this is why i am posting this... Please help us Dev's :)

 

Also as i forgot to mention there are big affects in PRO and in non-PRO, in PRO there is only equiptment and m1 vs m3 is unfair which was mentioned but in Non-PRO, higher levels have played longer and are more likely to purchase supplies/gain them as daily, than a lower level player..

its been a great problem for players (high rankers) but u got to live with it u have rank limit so why not use it ;D

Not sure what you mean by that, were here to discuss the fact that rank limit is set too large...

no i meant u just increase limit so u can have some easy one shot kills just keep limit to lieutenants u can always change limit

When you create a battle, just make the rank gap short. You just drag the left arrow to the right, and the whole thing will be shorten.

Guys i know very well how to use the rank filter, but that alone is not enough... If i drag up to m2 for sure im gonna be playing with m4's for sure..
