So, I have seen many many articles that MUs are not useful until M3, because it would be a Waste of Crystals.

I want to ask perhaps the cost if MUs can be reduced so more people would be interested. 
 

I have read 34 topics on MU and most of the comments were that it was again a waste of crystals.

 

I MU only certain things, For example I will fully upgrade Pro. and Damage and I have a much easier time in battles and normally get 1st granted I like the advantage, but it seems odd that MUs are something people leave alone?

 

I don't really find 50% off MU events very useful because the time it takes to finish for me is 4 hours and I have other tasks like college and work so these events evade me most of the time.

 

If I am wrong and many people do MU then just close/delete this article.

 

I would like to see people's opinion so please... post comments.

Yes I MU but only on M3's, otherwise its not really worth it.

I bought m3 thunder, i use to kill hornet m2 in 3 hits and it took 7.10 seconds, now that i MUed it, it takes 2 hits to kill a hornet m2 and 6.33 seconds.

most high rank only mu m3 , i think that is because the mu system is introduced after they got m3,

 

for lower rank who join tanki after mu system, there is advantage of mu in all ranks, but provided you have good saving plan to spare some on mu,

MUs can be a very useful thing, even on M2s and M1s. What people means, is that you shouldn't waste LOTS of crystals to MU something that will disappear. Just upgrade a few parameters, which makes the biggest changes anyways. Don't go too far.

I'm currently gradually MUing all my M3 equipment - Smoky, Hornet, Viking on here, Isida and Thunder on brigadier alts. My "heavy" account has Mammoth M2, so I made an exception for that one and fully upgraded it since I will have to play until Generalissimo with M2 Mammoth and a stock M2 is nothing against MU'd M3

This is for sure best compromise IMHO.

For example, shaft M2 fully MU in damage deals 200. Shaft M3 base damage is 205. In this case, you can have a M2 that does almost M3 damage.

Or...wasp M2 fully MU in protection is better than a hornet M2 w/o MU (146.2 > 138.5). It can help you a lot.

 

I fully MUed my "old" M1s and I MUed my M2 in protection/damage. It is a little expensive but, considering discount when you buy next step, it is not a total waste of money.

MUs are actually a bit useful even at m0, just to give you that little edge. For example: If you have smoky+hunter and you see another smoky+hunter, and you start shooting eachother at the same time, who will win? either the person who MUed their armor, damage, or reload time.

Just MUing 4-5 times will make a big difference.

Its actually a pretty big waste. I looked at the tables of fully MUing parameter compared to the discount it gives, and only 1 or two parameters on one equipment for one M was a savings. all the others are a waste
