Removing The Weight of Dead Tanks

Recommended Posts

As you all know, when a tank is destroyed, it morphs into a dead and rusty tank. I find no problem in this; but what I find very odd/unnecessary is the weight.

Many times, when a tank is destroyed in front of me, it interferes with my gameplay. I am never able to push the dead tank, and reach my destined location, or even move forward for a gold box.

I do not wish for this to be in the game, especially because you cannot use a dead tanker as cover. Damage is still enable through the dead tank, which is not so fortunate.

If any remarks(none rude, please), post below.

Please consider removing the weight of dead tanks from the game, enabling them to be pushed away. Thank you

I love that because if there is a destroyed tank between me and another tank, I can destroy the other tank using the freeze and if the other thank has got a ricochet for example he can't destroy me :D

Yes, this idea would stop elements of gameplay like that... :(

Actually, the weight of the dead tank is an important of the gameplay. You can use it to sop enemies form getting the flag and blocking them etc.

Absolutely. If need be I will drop and flip or otherwise use my tank to obstruct other teams hoping they will destroy me because the few seconds while the tank vanishes can make a major difference in how things turn out.

I'm on the fence, like most of those that have responded to the OP thus far. I just wanted to critique the idea as I believe you're trying to make the tank completely weightless. Its a 3d object. A tank. Its not very realistic if you can push the it out of the way like its a feather.. Maybe reducing the weight of the tank by half upon death would be a more reasonable compromise?

Maybe so; but I do not find it reasonable for a tank to be pushed when it is not dead, and when it is is dead, it is unmovable.

Then again, maybe I had not thought this through, at all. Thank you, mates!
