striker+viking+uranium is ridiculously OP

always get first place in battles

 

add booster drone to that and...

i dont even wanna talk about it 

not the biggest fan of viking but i def can see the combo . I do like hunter more , so this is my 2nd prefered combo .

hunter + striker + uranium .

booster drone ? Yes i do know booster drone and i use it myself , but only on fast firing weapons . Isida being the nr 1 for me with booster drone . Its imho a waste of batteries since you can do only 1 shot in drone modus .

 

Biggest favorite combo :

titan + vulcan + incendiary alt .

 

i was a vulcan titan user since i 1st used this turret ( marchal rank ) and loved it from day 1 . Anyone who knows me , will confirm that im very very lethal with this combo and from day 1 using it i near always got most kills . They did change the parameters of vulcan a few times now , leading to much more vulcans around , thanks to the incendiary alt ( which was incredebly OP on the 1st day it came out , was a joke tbh ) .

I'd doubt seeing that at first place in a DM battle, since many players can either run up to you and cause self-damage, or attack you from behind and render you hopeless, especially considering the alteration needs quite some time to reload.

 

But in team battles it surely does great.

This guy joined with 5 minutes remaining with that same setup then dominated.

I think he would do better with Hunter instead of Viking. Viking is too low and easy to knock.

I think Viking would do better in solo battles like DM or Juggernaut than it would in team reliant battles like CTF, rugby, TDM, ASL, or CP.

A major general battling against players several ranks below him who were likely using equipment very inferior to his m3+ kit, yea he's totally going to wreck them unfortunately. For goodness sake my GS is not even close to his, and I'm 7 ranks above the guy.

 

Congo the screenshots you've posted show how horribly unbalanced matchmaking is, not the effectiveness of the combination.

I am Major General and I have slightly above 4000 GS (M2 2/10 Titan Smoky, M0/M1 modules)

u/they would've probably done better with striker+viking+cyclone+booster drone

I disagree. Cyclone takes too long to lock on and enemies and because of the maps that we have in the pool, most times, enemies have ample time to move to cover or weird angles that your laser can't reach. This would be able to one-shot a medium hull that has double damage enabled; so can Uranium.

The pro of this is that with Cyclone, your projectile speed is fast and your less than Uranium's. The only con I see of this is the projectile speed. With Uranium, since it travels slower, it'll take longer to get to the target. This would be good for timing when an enemy will drive by a certain point and shoot your missile. Because the speed is slower, it may or may not be easier to time it. I've grown accustomed to using Uranium so I know how to time it. 

 

Uranium has 50% more damage than that. That means you can also one-shot heavy hulls which Stock Striker with it can't. BEcause the projectile speed is slower, there is usually a lower chance of missing the target completely and not doing any damage at close range. If you try to apply that to Stock Striker, it may fall just short of the target. 

 

 

I like to use Salvos as well. I wouldn't be using 1 by 1 missiles all of the time since the Booster Drone isn't always active. It's good to lock on as fast as possible and let all of the missiles go. If they go behind a building, maybe the missiles would swerve there and his someone else.

ok but's what's more superior in JGR mode taking down the Juggernaut?

But Congo, Cyclone has the ability to kill a M4 Dictator Orka within a salvo. In average, the 7th rocket delivers the fatal blow.

 

Yes Uranium can do that, but only when Dictator lost more than 10% of his/her HP.

yeah it is actually extremely good, that's why it's the top pick for fighting against/killing juggernaut

my fav combo is titan twins on DM.Took 5 enemies to blow it up.

Hunter Twins on CTF ASL RGB

Titan Smoky on TDM

I hate JGR.

You can see I dont have the rank for PRO bAttles so....

looks like you've moved past that horrible combo of HORNET + VULCAN. although vulcan can be good, it overheats, plus, hornet M0 has the same armor as wasp M0 sooo.... 

 

p.s u also need firebird protection as well as vulcan protection to be fully protected against vulcan.

 

also i <3 JGR because I have an OP but hardly recognized hammer/railgun + viking combo. even know it's lower than hunter - slap on a DD and the JGR dies in similar time to striker + cyclone/uranium alt

 

RGB is love for me <3

 

i never play DM because I only last 10 seconds before a matrix kit kills me

 

ASL gives me more of a headache than JGR does, honestly

 

CTF = more headache than ASL

 

what about CP? that's the best mode for me bc i have got some decent M1s, including titan, viking, hammer, freeze, railgun and HORNET, and protections against the M1 turrets i've listed. p.s alien nebula paint is ez to get.

twins = meh, but if u add stabilized plasma alt, it's op

hunter = i can't last 15 seconds, even in TDM, without anyone killing me

titan = good, but if a hunter/hornet + OD boi comes along, ur ded

i recommend u get OSAKA kit. why not siberian? freeze is worst M2 apparently. and M2 isida can heal enemies EXTREMELY FAST. get fighter kit, then put the M1 twins on ur titan.

What do you mean by this?

vulcan overheats fairly quickly, the hull burns like a firebird is burning ur tank. so u need protection against firebird as well.

Yeah but what about that Vulcan protection part? Are you talking fully protecting yourself from enemy Vulcans or fully protecting yourself from yourself?

you need vulcan + firebird modules to be fully protected from vulcan. didn't i make myself clear before? oh wait, u didn't listen!

Titan-Rail is always gonna be my go-to. Enough armor to shrug off a Shaft, but without that annoying need to scope in to retaliate. People seriously underestimate this thing, especially past getting it to M1 when it gets faster and can actually fight off Wasps at melee range.

Maybe, but why try having full on protection against something that is rarer to see in battle than a goldbox? Plus it can just shrug off the protection like it's nothing. It's a DPS turret remember.

 

 

Firebird protection is useful because it can protect you from on turret and 3 alterations. And firebird is common.

Ok, sure Vulcan are common at your rank range. But up particularly where I'm at and even higher, I wouldn't say it's weak, because whenever I use Vulcan I normally do quite well. I think it's because there are other turrets that are more rewarding to use like thunder, railgun, smoky, striker, shaft, Gauss, etc.
