Ability to create fair battles against friends with weak equipment

Recommended Posts

Hi :)
My idea is,erm, when you want to go to a friendly battle with your friend(s) and you want the
battle to be kinda the same, you should be able to change your turret/hull modification (of course not higher)

like, I have thunder M1 and one of my friends has thunder M2,   he should be able to change
his thunder to M1 for it to be a fair battle (but I couldnt change my thunder to M2 due to me not having bought it)

the way it is right now, we should either go to another acc for the fight to be fair, or not
fight at all,

I hope you consider my humble Idea :)

I actually like this idea, I have friends that are lower than me - and we cant fight.

Plus technically as you buy m0/m1/m2/m3 - you should have access to them anyways. I buy a new pair of shoes doesn't mean I don't like wearing my old ones!

Interesting idea, though I would point out that the thing that actually makes Tanki Online a GAME is the fact that there are different modifications of each turret and hull, providing dynamic and interesting gameplay.

But again, this would be great for duelists.

this is very usefll for duelists like me but then that player would be uncomfortable with using the old upgrade

IKR  like getting used to killing a hull with 2-3 shots with its M3 but with M2, it needs 5-6 shots

but better than the thing that is now.

maybe they could bring a "duel mode" which you could change M's in?

that would probably go in PRO battles list but I would buy PRO pass for sth like this :)

This would be nice for playing with my new friend that I invited, and I do think it makes sense to be able to access all your earlier modifications. (including MUs)

No one would do it, why use rail M1 when you could use M2?

I have friends that have minor equipment and we can't play together (on a just base) as it is. Being able to use previous equipment (lower grade) would be useful.

Generalissimos could be able to play with lower-ranked players, here's how:

From Recruit to Staff Sergeant is considered to be the M0 Ranks,

from Staff Sergeant to Warrant Officer 5 is considered the M1 Ranks,

from Warrant Officer 5 to Brigadier is considered the M2 Ranks,

and from Brigadier to Generalissimo is considered the M3 Ranks.

Now, if they want to join a battle with a certain rank, this list must apply, making them switch to a certain Modification.

For instance, if they want to join a battle where the highest rank is Warrant Officer 4, they must have only an M1 Paint/Hull/Turret equipped. But if the highest rank is Second Lieutenant, they can equip an M2 Paint/Hull/Turret, but only what is unlocked at that rank. (Freeze M2, Isida M2, and Hornet M2.)

This would prevent using OP Turrets and Hulls that haven't unlocked yet at that rank. (Thunder M2, Mammoth M2 ect.)

Latest and wiser thought.

I have changed my mind, what I said (quoted above) is not a good idea. The reason, because if anyone (high rank) can reduce the level of gizmo to participate in low rank battles new players are doomed to become canon fodder, due to difference in experience. Jeez! Not a pleasant thought, is it? So, no reducing the tanks, thank you very much! :)

Oooh, good thought....I did think that might be a problem, but maybe only have this option for PRO battles? That way friends can play together still, without making it common. (I know of very few low rank players who actually use PRO battles.)

I had to make 3 multiple accounts just to play with new friends that I invited, so I would enjoy this feature. :)

I like this idea, because some of my friends once decided to make a battle and try to all use the same combo. At first we decided wasp isida, but most of us had m0 while someone had m1. Then we spent a long time trying to figure out what we all had the same. This would help make people be able to fight fair battles, cause some people want to be able to play with everybody using the same combo. And not just XP/BP battles either.

Yes, they do. But that's not a reason to give them another opportunity to dominate inexperienced players' battles....
