Almost made a topic whit this idea, glad I checked twice. Valid since 2015, just say yes or no plz...

Some online games let you choose between bad and good equipment, so why not, right? The problem whit the mults is kinda hard to avoid even without this, because the mults can aways just buy a low level equipment early on the game and play whit other stuff until they reach the high ranks and use their already bought m0 to do the "multing", but if you insist, just make it "pro mode only" then.

Someone said Tanki X had this, but nope, I was an active player there and the change was only visual and not practical. Aways had fun killing players using xts while I was whit the "m0 skin" on. It was also good for camouflage purposes because m0s had no "shiny details". I still remember someone saying: "I just got smoky m2, but it's the same ****?(your mastery level was what mattered, and the "visual levels" where just skins, this was funny, but honestly poorly explained).

If a player is eligable to buy a modification of a turret or hull, my suggestion is to allow him to buy also prior modifications and use them.

For example If I buy a MK7 railgun, I can also buy MK6, MK5 and so on and choose to use them in battles..

 

Why?

1. Parkour. Small modification of a hull gives him less weight.

2. I can play on even terms with low level players. A level of modification can also be added to custom battles created by players.

3. There are achievements for low level modifications of turrets and hulls.

4. Why not? Players will use crystals to buy lower modifications. It is beneficial for Tanki Online that players spend crystals.

5. Tankionline can create bundles In the shop of turrets or hulls of a single modification. Players can buy them using tankoins

Hello,

I suggest that for example if you have mk8 turret or hull or protection or drone fully upgraded, you can still test the previous level such mk1,mk2,mk3, drones upgraded 1, etc. Advantages : Doing challenges which required a specific level of something, testing, challenge from subscribers of youtubers, etc.

Disadvantages : none

Note : if you have for example mk8 railgun and that you want to test railgun mk2, your progress are still saved, so if you want go back with railgun mk8 or mk7 upgraded something, it will be saved for sure.
