Remove Gold Hunter of the week

Does the person even get rewarded with anything by being Gold Catcher (Multer) of the week?

If it's just being mentioned on the video v-blog, then eh. . .

 

But I get that it's really quite annoying when all he does is mult, and he gets acknowledged as some sort of "pro" on the v-logs.

Another Gold sitting noob. He scored 2 kills in 15 min.

That's just great - the moron sits there taking up a valuable spot and possibly causes the team to lose.

 

This really needs to be fixed.

They are rewarded with 100 supplies.

Huh. I never knew this was such a problem. I can't think of anyone who mults in any of my battles to catch gold boxes, but then again, gold boxes don't drop as often at my rank.

 

Personally, I don't care about "Gold Hunter of the Week" because it's always the same people, and I know that I will never be able to get that many gold boxes. (I catch one every one or two months.)

also it seems like catching gold is no more a chalenge for some players, when this gold hunter thing started gold hunters of week have a score of 16 19 golds, now its like 40-50 golds which is like what the hell!!!

I upvoted his idea of removing the Gold Hunder of the week.

 

Furthermore, I propose splitting the goldbox in two boxes of 500 that fall at the same time on different areas of the map, so that more people can win an extra crystal...

 

Gold boxes are additional funds based on chance and not money, or even pure skill, isn't this the case Devs? So give them to more people and remove the abuse that players like 1000-volt produce.

I don't think that something this drastic should be implemented. Maybe the developers can review the performance of the top catcher and decide whether he should win or not accordingly?

I can get 100 supplies by daily bonuses, and I can get 1000 crystals from one battle fund, so personally, I sometimes go "ehhh, couldn't care less" when Gold drops.

We don't need more proof about 1000-Volt, we all know now he is a mult. But still, I played 9 rounds in a row of Polygon CP 15 minutes. 1000-Volt was there. In 9 rounds, 7 Gold fell. 1000-Volt took the first. Some guy took the second on the island. Then I took 3 in a row and I flipped 1000-Volt on the last two golds :lol:

 

Also, we lost 8 rounds. 1000-Volt left in the middle of the 9th round (maybe ran out of 5 minutes in pause) and we won lol.

I agree. the gold hunter of the week does not encourage good gameplay, and it only goes to the same people over and over again. It should be removed, 99.999999 percent of tankers won't even be affected. 

Goldhunter of the week encourages:

-Playing tanki ten hours a day

-Multing. 

That's just about all it encourages, and none of that is good. 

I have seen 1000-volt many times, he is definitely a gold mult. I killed him right underneath a goldbox, and It was funner than actually catching the goldbox.

So, I am thinking of founding the anti-1000-volt-club, where like five tankers follow him around at all times, forcing him to never take the goldbox.  ;)

eeh i hate this gold mults and i hate gold system too -looking for a gold sign that you cant even find, when you find it there is like 3 4 tanks around it, why did they make gold predictable? guess its a bad side effect of removing crystal boxes from the game :/
