Ideas for Game Modes!

I am not trying to take anything it will be an OPTIONAL game-mode. I understand your confusion. I am not trying to downgrade the graphics of the whole game. You can play on the game mode or you can't.

Hi.

 

Recently i have been thinking about a new battle mode. I got the ideas from the movies: "Divergent", and "The Maze Runner" and tanki's Tankaida, CTF tournament.

 

New battle mode: CTFF (Capture the flag FIRST)

  • There will be two teams
  • Each team will have to work with their team in order to capture the flag
  • There will be one flag
  • The map will be a huge maze, thats slim but narrow
  • At the middle or the end of the maze is where the flag will be located
  • The first team to take that flag and deliver it to their base without dying or losing the flag wins
  • Maximum points that can be set for a winning team, 15
  • If possible tanki can you make this mode if you like it, deadly by making the maze change and adding sentry guns
  • The changes will be so that a person cant escape so easily if they have an isida with them
  • The sentry guns should deal 2 points of damage each tank hit, and there should be about 7 sentry guns in the maze
  • Teams cannot attack each other until in the maze

​Please make the maze with tunnels, bridges and ditches.

- Yeah i know its sounds a little insane but i believe tanki can do it if they like it.

 

Ricochet:

  • We have all heard it before. Ricochet has to much impact forcce
  • Please decrease the knockback a little by about 10%
  • It already has about the same damage as smoky, but it has a 12 clip round, and the ability to shoot at objects and have them go the opposite direction, and to make the balls bounce to hit a target

 

Noise map:

  • Please add two billboards to the noise map. Please put one near the ramp that extends out of the blue base (the one without any turns) and where the red team can jump off and jump into the blue base.
  • My reasons for this are, because the blue team cant exactly kill enemies camping there without going to a distance

Gamemode "I bet on me"

 

Basics:

Each player pays an entry fee into a battle-pot

The battle fund grows as well as usual.

In the end the battle-fund  and the battle-pot are shared like today (depending on points)

 

 

additionals:

Entry price should depend on rank (lower ranks pay less, as they have less chnce to have topscore)

For pro Battles the cretor could define a price or a price range (like 100-250-500 for his rank; which would then down/upscale for other ranks)

 

Risks:

Some players get maybe really pissed if some of their teammebers make mistakes.. but it has for sure some thrill.

Yeah, I like this idea. Do you have to pay a certain amount based on your rank, or can you pay whatever? First option sounds like it would be full of intense battles, as only the best of the best would want to play. +1

'CTF+' is my idea for a new game mode. Whilst it is identical to regular CTF in every respect, it has a single added element. You must carry your flag back to the base when you free it from the opposition team. It would be impossible to carry both flags, yours and the enemy's, and this would require some teamwork in certain situations.

 

If the enemy team does capture your flag and get it to their base then it would automatically return as happens in CTF. If you manage to destroy the caper then you or your team must then pick up your flag and motor on back to your base.

 

I'm thinking it would make a dynamic and striking difference to gameplay. I'm also thinking it would be a simple matter to add this mode to the current selection of possible modes. As CTF is usually the most popular mode then CTF+ could well become quite popular on its own.

This has been suggested before, and although I think it's a great idea, has merit, and would add some more realism to the game, people could abuse this. You know that annoying situation where both teams have the other's flag, and the carrier has himself protected on most sides by buildings, then completely surrounded by mines and teammates, the majority of which are isidas? Now think of it being like that ALL the time. Not as severe, of course, but you would have to fight your way into the base, find the flag, and then make it all the way back to your base to cap it. Not trying to be mean or anything, but this game mode could become really unpopular really fast.

There should be a new kind battle mode-"World War" which should contain all of the features of existing battles. For example, it should contain CTF, CP, and TDM at the same time. A team should capture more flags, kill more and capture more points to win.

What about tank races?we will have some big maps like the new year map racing and we will race but it will be only at pro battle.

2)add 3 trams in a battle plss

3) last man standing!

4) add format battle fire+wasp!

Great idea! But if they create a race mode, they should have shooting but only charge by 15 seconds!

How about a game mode where you can play without any ranking up or points, like a free game mode to where you can play with lower rank people or just practice? I can only play a few maps with my daughter and if I keep ranking up I wan't be able to play her anymore. I guess like Parkour Style.

How about a game mode where you can play without any ranking up or points, like a free game mode to where you can play with lower rank people or just practice? I can only play a few maps with my daughter and if I keep ranking up I wan't be able to play her anymore. I guess like Parkour Style.

Playing with different ranks should really be possible.. giving no reward (crystals, experience points) is a gooood idea to make it "unatractive" to misuse :)

This may be crazy and nonsense, but I think that evolve battle would be fun! What I am thinking, is the tank's turret gets slightly stronger everytime It kills the enemy. For example, Thunder m3 normally has 70 damage, but after 1 kill 72 damage, and after 10 kills 90 damage.

And If that tank is killed, turret's stats returns to normal. This mode may be fun because a mammoth m3 can be

unexpectedly slaughtered in one shot by thunder!

not a bad concept..i could envision a m2 mammoth with an m0 shaft just laying waste to a long range battle..and with a few isada nearby..that would make for one mean killing machine! lower ranks would not have to shell out huge money for turret upgrades!

You're right, of course, it can be almost impossible to free the flag when it's heavily defended. Perhaps this mode would only work on more open maps. I'm thinking Rio would be a horrible choice for CTF+. Played it today and I reckon our team threw away dozens of lives trying to just get to the flag. It could get really boring, really fast, if one team dominated in the defense of the flag holder. Thanks for your feedback Gena.

This is actually in the game already in certain maps, all it is is that the Flag locations are switched.

I would like to see battle modes where the person starting a battle on any given map could have options to limit which turrets could join. This might allow players to practice using the turret of his/her choice.  You could even incorporate other peoples ideas about not ranking up.. more of a practice and learning mode.

When I create a battle I already see unusable option to select which rank players are allowed in battle. Why has that been disabled?

Tanki is really fun in general. I think more battle options available would be nice.

I got a Idea. There should be a New Game Mode called "Hot Potato" it's a DM and you can do it in any battle with a max of 15 people. It's where one lucky choosen person can shoot anyone for a minute . And the rest of them can't , so they have to run away or try not to get killed in the map . It has to be over 15 minutes or no-one will get a turn if the battle is full , but if their's only like 7 people . The battle will only last 7 minutes or however many people are in the battle. The person who can get the most kills or how ever many kills are for the game wins or if the timer ends. It would be awesome if Semyon put it in Tanki .

 

Like the Post if you Agree it should be put in Tanki

I have a thought for the programmers, what are the positives and negatives of doing like a One Kill Game. For example:

 

  • The round must have at least 7-10 people for the round to start (for crystal distribution to be fair), either TDM or DM. (Maybe there could be a button that says: 'enter randomizing wait room' and then you will be paired with players of your roughly same rank until there are enough players for the round to start. Maybe once it hits 7 players a timer will count down from 30 until match start.

 

1. One player kills another player.

2. The dead player does not respawn until the round ends.  

3. To avoid the round dragging on, each round will be limited to 2-5 minutes.
4. The round will end when either:

  • Only one player remains or,
  • The time limit runs out.

5. When the round ends:

  1. Crystal distribution will be based on how many kills each player has. I also thought of a gameplay where, in games with 15 or more players, there will be 5 players awarded crystals, the number one player obviously receiving more. 
  • Player 1 receives: 150 crystals
  • Player 2 receives 100 crystals
  • Player 3 receives 50 crystals

6. The game will continue to reset until there are less than 7 players in a round. At this point the tanks will then be placed back into a wait room to begin another round.

 

I have seen many games that offer this type of gameplay and it is very popular.

 

I offered the idea in a round and there was an astonishing amount of acceptance. I think that tankers would love this new way to enjoy tanki on a fast paced level.

 

Obviously there will be tanks that will be destroyed very quickly but then they can change up their playing style to something that will allow them to last longer in a round.

 

Since the rounds will be so short, the waiting period will not be very long and maybe their camera can zoom out to watch the rest of the round play out.

 

Obviously this is not perfect, this was just a thought thrown about so all numbers are just suggestions I thought of. You all are the professionals about how to make things work.
