Ideas for Game Modes!

I'd love to see a XP bonus/malus game mode where team players could kill each other.

When you kill oponent, the XP process remains unchanged.

When you kill team player, the XP process would be exactly the opposite of oponent kill XP process, ie, you loose XP.

I would suggest to enable negative XP generating negative Gold for really bad players...

 

That would create a very different game where splash weapons would have to be used with accuracy.

Additionally, bad team players would be penalized if they kill team members given they could loose some gold if they reach full game negative XP.

 

just thoughts...

I have an idea for a new game mode similar to control point, but i will name the game mode strategic point.

It has different rules for different duration battles (15,30,60 min battles)

Rules for 15 min battle :-

                                         Every map will contain only 1 control point, no matter how large the map is.There will be 3 rounds in 15 min battles,each of 5 min.The  mission for players will be to capture the point but if they are destroyed they can not respawn.It means that the players will have one life to capture the point.They will respawn in the next round(5 min).The team which wins most rounds out of 3 rounds will win the game.

Rules for 30 min battle:-

                                      Same as in 15 min battle,every map will have only 1 control point.Players will have to capture the point.In 30 min battle,there will also be 3 rounds but each of 10 min(remember each round is of 5 min in 15 min battle).Only one life in one round in 15 min battle,but in 30 min,players will have 2 life.

Rules for 60 min battle:-

                                      Only one point in each map,remember..... :P and players will have to capture the point.There will be 3 rounds also in 60 min battle but each of 20 min and yes,players will have 3 life.

Answers to some questions:-

Q:-What about pro battles?What will be the system about this game mode in pro battle?

Ans:-You can create a pro battle of this game mode.First select number of players,next is to set time.You can select any time but only if the time you choose makes odd number of rounds.Next is numbers of life in one round.Create battle and play!!!

Q:-What about battle funds?Wont they will be less?

Ans:-Capturing the point will add a lot of crystals in battle fund and more crystals in battle fund of destroying tank instead  as in other game modes.This might help.

Q:-What if some one destroys?Until the end of time,what will he do?

Ans:-If some one destroys,he will see the control point from a position set as random.But my suggestion is spectator mode,it is best as it will help the destroyed tanker to help the teammates.

Hi how about that idea about 3 Way matches, many players suggested this, but no votes; :wacko:

So i suggest again :P

 

3 team Death match

You add another team for death match just like 2 team matches

 

3 tam CTF

Then players have to protect flag from 2 opponent teams and also can steal flag from 2 teams

 

3 team CP

not a big difference players will have more competition to capture points

 

 

i suggest 3rd team will be purple color or white color, because red,blue,green,yellow,orange already used, black, brown colors are not glowing, and gold & silver dont suit :rolleyes:

One idea i would suggest to tanki would be this.

 

2 teams each get 5 flags  (this is optional)  the point of the game would be to get all 10 flags to your flag when you capture the flag your flag numbers will go up but when someone steals your flag  the number of flags your team has will go down.

i have played this game as a outdoor activity but i forgot the name of it.

An Idea for tank online is new game modes like last tank standing, hide And seek, escort, and stop the bomb.

This is about skills, sneaking, teamwork and playing highly tactical:

 

Game mode: Last man standing / Last Team standing

 

first 5 minutes:

- The game starts like normal DM/TDM in order to fill up. Kills are not counted in this period.

 

As soon as the battle is full or 5 minutes are over, it switches to Last man Standing:

 

Next 5 minutes:

- no new tanks are accepted to this battle

- each tank has 3 lifes (displayed above him like a supply).

- after loosing the last live, the tank will see the view of one of his teammates and can watch him playing

- In this mode you give 20 experiance poits per kill (splitted if in team mode), as the players have to play less risky

- The battle is over when only one tank / one team is left alive

 

This battles have always just a fixed runtime - so no 1h battles with 2vs2 tanks...

Runtime should be corelated to amount of tanks in battle (above values in minutes are just examples).

it is a good idea elleboudy except instead of all that 3 live complication.

This game mode can be called team elimination. (for team battles)

and all tanks should have only 1 life .

and as soon as the entire enemy team is dead our team wins.

this can be 1 round.

you can then chose to make a best of 3/5 rounds.

then whichever team wins 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5 rounds wins the battle.

And for DM there will be just one round and every tank has 3 lives.

Have a similar idea to yours I wanted to suggest also but slighty down a different line for different reason.

 

Each map has its own advantages and disadvantages on both ends. I think battles should be split into 2 rounds one where you start oneside then in round 2 start the otherside, this is for all game modes. Leaving inbetween the switch would be just like leaving a battle and you won't get any crystals.

 

I have seen battles where players stayed in after the flip and they won on flip. Some battles can be predicted based upon the map.

Last man standing [LMS]

 

Basically DM but when you die you do not respawn instead you be put into spectator mode and can spectate the battle. When the battle is finished the last person alive gets all the crystals!

Unfortunately all crystals will go to 1 person now almost no-one wants to play DM anymore after this , also the fund will be realy low after 1 kill

Maybe it is an good idea for fun battling but if people want to rankup normaly or get crystals this ain't an logical option.

I have 2 kind of ideas in Format Battles.

 

1st: wasp+fire/hornet+fire easy way to gold drop an in cp or ctf this mod of game makes many crystal ex: when i play 100 cp with friends ( hornet+fire) we lose but i get 2K cry in 30 mins.. ))

 

2nd idea: Everybody heard about xp and star series.. well i think tanki can add a new format called SL (starladder) format.. because i think many players want to play in light format but they cant just in usual matches where u can use everything.. this format players can play with their: wasp/hornet/hunter/viking smoky(1 per team)/railgun tundra/savanna/needle/prodigi but in one team just 100% can be protect from railgun (max 2 prodigi), (5 savanna) etc.. of course just 6 players can be in 1 team..

Last gold man standing (lol)

 

Same idea as @I3ANNED except that every time (every 1 minute) when the goldbox dropped (without the announcement and it'll have a big golden light) then the eliminated players will join (every players has 3 lives) and whoever catch the goldbox will earn +1 life (& ofc 1000 cry). Last player standing wins!! And yes, there'll be no drugs

What about training mode: u click creat battle, u can train alone or not. If alone, u can pick a combo and position on the position u want, then press "k" and change to another tank. This way u can train your aim am moving shots and learn new techniques.

What u think?

how about deathmatch battles where all the same turrets are on a team, and any gun can join. so it would be like all the firebirds are on the same team playing agaist everything thing else while all the rails are on a team playing against everyone else and all the shafts and so on. 

 

an example of a dessert deathmatch might be :

 

4 railguns

2 twins

6 ricos

4 firebirds

1 smokey

 2 hammers. 

 

all the same guns would be on a team. its sort of how it is now. rails almost always team up anyway.

I would say, Hardpoint, it randomly pick a spot to be in, and one team has to be in the hardpoint to get points, and the more people, the more points. The hardpoint will last about 30 seconds each and if a tank from another team is in with the other team, points will not be given to the score. Thanks  :)  :)

Here's another idea, Search And Destroy (SAD, I know its wierd that its SAD). One team is the Planters, they have a bomb that one player must pick up (the bomb is located near the players) and they must plant the bomb at either A, OR B, and the other team (defenders) must keep them from planting and if they plant, they must defuse it to win the round. To plant the bomb, the player with the bomb must go very close to A or B and it will take about 5 seconds to plant, or defuse (can be changed by the map maker). If all players on one team get destroyed, the other team win the round. The score limit will be 4 (can also be changed by the map creater) - Thanks for reading!  :)
