Ideas for Game Modes!

Not sure if this has been suggested before.

 

I propose that if a CTF (other applicable gamemodes included) results in a draw, the players should be able to vote whether they want to go into extra time to determine a winner. If the majority votes to do so within the time-limit, then they respawn as the same teams and play.

 

The length of the extra time could just be 1/10th of the original game time, with 5 mins being the minimum time. And quite simply, the first team to capture a flag wins (golden goal essentially).

 

I mean, who fights battles for draws?

Multi Objective game

 

In this game mode there will be many objectives like holding a certain area of the map, collecting tokens on the map, or even delivering a certain person on your team to a certain area.

Who:  The awesome people that play Tanki. Only about 8 to 12 people per map.

What: Multi-Objective Game Mode. Deliver the person or object to a certain area on the map. Collect certain objects on the map. Have your tank in a certain area to capture points for an objective. Kill a certain person on another team. Take an object from close to the middle of the map and hold it longer than the other team. Kill everyone on the other team once ( during this period there would be no respawns and if people die they would spectate. ) Also any other ideas you can come up with.

Where:  On any medium to big map

Why:  There was a gamemode sometime around last christmas where you had to deliver a flag from the enemy base back to yours and if the enemy held you off for a certain time then they would win. I wanted something like that mode but also many more so it would be a mix of many different game modes in one.

I'm not sure if this is a game mode but it consists of all the other game modes you have but at the end of each one, everyone votes on which game mode they want. Honestly it's just for those people who want to switch modes but not maps or even just stay in the battle because you like who you're playing with.

Randomizer:

 

Each player gets a randomly generated tank in which they get to use in the battle, which will also be a random battle, with a random amount of players, a random amount of given time, and a random range of ranks that fit within your parameters! It will take everything you know and flush it down the drain! Say you're good with Railgun and Hornet, but your random tank is a Freeze on top of a Wasp. You won't know what to expect, which is what will make it so unique! The only thing you really get to choose is the amount of players. Only certain levels of turrets and hulls will be generated to fit the randomized parameter of ranks, so you  don't end up with all M0 and most other players get M3. All turrets, hulls and modules will be standard, with no micro upgrades. You cannot access your owned equipment other than supplies in this game, otherwise you'd simply change, thus making the game mode irrelevant.

 

What do you guys think?

Gold Galore!:

 

A game mode in which gold boxes are constantly being dropped, but only contain 5,000 crystals, and both teams fight to catch the most within the given time. You can't lose or win in this game mode. Say red team gets 50 gold boxes, that adds up to 5,000 crystals that get divided up between the players on that team, the players with the most points getting the most of course. These gold boxes will not count as an actual gold box and wont appear on your profile as gold boxe you've caught, nor will names be presented on the screen during the game like an actual gold box. There are no winners or losers in this game mode, it's just slightly faster way to make crystals!

One in the turret;

 

Each player in the game is given M3 Rail and M3 Hornet to use only during the battle, endless double damage and ten mines. Each player only gets one shot to fire and a given amount of lives by the person who created the battle. The game is FFA automatically and when you kill a player, you get another shot to use, whether you shoot them or use a mine. Mines laid down in this game mode dont disappear when you die. The last person left gets the highest amount of crystals of course. With such a limited amount of kills to be made, each kill adds 100 to the battle funds. You dont get to keep any unused mines.

The Christmas map last Christmas and the game mode it used I thought was the most fun of any map and the most fun of any mode. More like that please. BTW, I won a ton of crystals and XP on that map and mode which doesn't hurt either.

 

Ya, that was awesome, most TO players would want that back XD

New Game mode is simple. 2 Teams like CTF mode. There can only be one King in each team. To be king if you must pay 200crys. You can only be King once per match after match is over you will be taken out of the match. If your king the object of the game is for you to survive. There is no time limit. As soon as you die game ends victory to other team. There will be 2 ways of playing CTK. One way is PRO pass. You must have PRO pass to play the PRO version. In PRO version you still have to pay a fee of 200crys to get in. But if your team wins you get 2k crys as a prize and no extra battle fund. In normal battle the CTK will still be available but normal version instead of the PRO version. The normal version is the same as PRO version except you get double battle fund (like when you have premium) if your team wins. And yes I know what your thinking. Trollers, mults, druggers, etc. In the CTK the king won't get double crystals or 2k from battle fund if he dies. In fact if his team loses the king gets 0 crys from the battle. So any trollers would just be wasting there crystals and will only be trolling themselves out of money. The King cannot be healed in the battle. He cannot use supplies either. This is for both PRO and normal version of the CTK. If an isida tries to heal the king nothing will happen. The king can still kill though. He gets XP for killing just like a normal player. If you press Tab then at the top of the score board it will say King and a name will come up. If the king happens to die by anything the team loses. The losing team gets battle fund normally but the losing king gets kicked out of the battle and gets no prize if he loses. Like if you agree with my idea.  :)

Maybe bounty hunter? But only in team battles.

 

-it will start where a player will get the most kills for a short period of time(like about 1 minute) in the battle, that player will become the hunter until a player from the enemy team kills them, then they will become the new bounty hunter, the battle will have a time limit like other battles, the team with the more bounty hunter kills will be the winners.

It's an interesting concept, but still needs a lot of work. It's too different compared to the other game modes, so at the moment it seems more like a standalone feature similar to DM tournaments. But you missed a lot of issues which need explaining, such as what happens when the battle has just been created and the game is 1v1; why would anyone want to be King if they know they get nothing if they lose; What if a bunch of players group together and take turns being the king for the other team and dying on purpose?

Well ok then.

The official Rules for CTK will be only one king per team. To persuade people to be king instead of getting one prize they can choose from different options. There will be four options to choose from.

1. 15 of each supply.

2. 3 hours of premium (They choose when to activate it)

3. double crystals from the battle

4. 1 gold box supply.

I've decided that this should be in normal battles too. It will be a little bit like DM tournaments. Its better if you have to apply to be king and also apply to be a player. There will be a waiting list to become king and you must pay 200 crystals to go on the waiting list. Like with DM tournaments a little message came up in a square. It will show you on the square where how long until you become a king or player. When you enter the battle that is when the crystals get transferred to Tanki. You click on play and the crystals do NOT get transferred until you are in battle. Also, players must pay too. All players will be required to pay a small fee of 200 crystals. If the team wins the king gets to choose what prize he/she gets (must choose in advance. There will be a setting in the garage in the ''special'' section). However, the players will just get double crystals each, provided they win. The losing team would get normal amount of crystals (not double just normal). Premium users will get double the amount of normal winners. For example, if I had premium and my fund was 1k I would get 2k. But if I had premium the overall reward would get doubled giving me 4k from the battle fund. When you apply to be king it puts you with random people just like with DM tournaments, also if too many people apply to be king they will be put on a waiting list. The battles will Take place in random places. Once a king has died the battle is declared finished and everyone in the battle must leave (just like DM tournaments). And to clarify all supplies will be able to be used from anyone apart from the actual Kings. The king will also not be able to be healed, all isida on his/her team won't have any effect on the king. Kings can kill as much as they please. If the king leave the match for any reason the battle will end and the winner will be decided by which ever team has the most kills. Or another king will enter; that is on the waiting list. Also if a team is taking too long to decide a winner then a gold box will be dropped, and which ever team manages to get it first will be declared the winner. Any gold boxes dropped by the server will be able to decide the winner. Any gold boxes dropped by players won't have any effect on the game. This is to stop cheating.

A lot of these rules are confusing and pointless. More importantly, you still didn't explain how players can easily abuse this system by taking turns to be king and dying on purpose to give the fund to their friends.

So,you probably faced that boring guy who stands in the corner and kills everyone (and drugs) or just shoots you in the air so he ruins your stunt!Well,I have some ideas about that;

1.One team,yellow colour-no kills,so no damaging your mates at all!

2.Vote to kick system(I think I even saw this one on the forum)-so that trollolololer gets out!!!!!

Hey,I have a great idea!

Instead of waiting that whole eternity of 10s in parkour mode,why not adding a instant respawn function instead(just in parkour mode)!So,you would also have a 30 sec cooldown,so someone wouldn't be constantly pressing "delete"!I think this is great because you can get back to your pals ASAP if you flip over and keep making stunts!Looking forward to your opinions! BD

I got one, it's called elimination, a game mode where you have to eliminate all the other players simply by knocking them off the map. It only works best in battlefield with no walls around it. And no massacre does not count.

 

It has to be in maps like Monte Carlo, combe, wave, hill. Basically in any battle field with very little room.
