Ideas for Game Modes!

Hi guys

 

I thought about a "Developer Mode"

 

For example, you can test some turrets and hulls and mix then.

 

Like, you could mix ricochet and Vulcan (This would be deadly) and maybe mix wasp and dictator :)

Vulcan that shoots out ricochet bullets.  :wacko:

for the love of god add wf/hf or just wf or just hf modes into battles.like xb/bp.

wf= wasp+fire

hf=hornet+fire

this could be so fun especially on gold dropping.

let me know if u guys are interested in like me.

God-Mode Killer

 

- The battle Mode could be a Special Event Battle so it wouldn't be permanant

- It would only be able to be played on smaller maps

- Available for players 3rd lieutenate and up

- Any mechanisim can be used to determin a player to have the godmode_on paint. (Comment chooseing mechanism)

- The player chosen to have gode mode paint would automatically default to Mammoth and Thunder

- Player chosen has infinite power ups but still has smart cool down for power ups

- Players cannot damage anyone except the tank with god mode paint

- Once tank with god mode paint is destroyed 1 Gold Box drops and once it's taken battle ends

mine dropping mode with unlimited mines

team deathmatchor deathmatch

 

escape the jail mode on a special map and 1/2 as prisoners and 1/2 as police

if the prisoners get to a certain point outside the jail the prisoners win

if the battle is over and the prisoners haven't escaped the police win

 

space mode without gravity

 

hide and seek

 

domination where players try to destroy very powerful turrets that cannot move and cannot be frozen or burnt

 

race mode where if the whole team gets to the end of a very long racetrack the team wins

 

gold mode (1000 crystal cost to join) with gold boxes falling everywhere

you guys don't quite understand what game this is.this is a game mode idea not some kind of free crystals day:a mode which gives million crys without playing .bring up similar modes to cp ctf dm and tdm and those ideas of racing and godmode just do with friends or on main chat you don't need to waste developers time for such stupid ideas

i thought about it and i don't see any reason why not to make stg mode the only thing is that the player has to drop gold.the rest is developers idea

I have a game mode. Everyone has to start with smoky and hunter M1. Even if you own an M3 smoky or an M0 smoky while in this match you will own a smoky M1 along with a hunter M1. And with that you will be sent to a random map, preferably a large map to make things harder (just cause). So basically the point of the game is to get the supply drops. Specail silver boxes will drop (with no siren) they will contain random weapons. When I mean random, I mean you could have an M1 wasp with XT vulcan wearing protection against freeze. The only difference is your paint doesn't change. To enter this battle you will need to pay crystals. Or you can get in for free if you own a PRO pass. Oh and it has to be a Death Match.

i know everyone likes goldboxes.the idea:A mode where it's for golds only.

for each gold taken you won't get crystals only the top 2 who took most golds get some amount of crystals.

once the battle is full they'll be 1m preparation for the golds to drop.gold will drop every 20 seconds.

after 15m of free golds it will say who took most golds.

nobody else will get any crystals and fund won't grow during the battle.

this mode is only available able for maps of 20 players+.

the more amount of player available the more golds dropping,so for the map dusseldorf,instead of 1 gold every 20s it will be 1 every 10 seconds.

this could be done with something different than goldboxes something like diamond boxes or something.

why would i want to join this mode?

1.to find out how good you are at taking boxes.

2.to have fun.

i will say this again:the fund will always be 0,the only people getting crystals are the top 2 who took more golds than everyone else.

Great idea! building upon that, maybe a mode where the players have to wager crystals (like 3,000), and the total gold box value is exactly the value of crystals. and it could be deathmatch only since winning doesn't matter. and people can't join after it starts because it would be unfair.

I'm not about to trail 60+ pages of threads to see what has previously been suggested but there are a few obvious game modes that could be added...

1 - LTS - Last Tank Standing - Each player has 3 lives (Pro Battle Pass option could increase/decrease the amount of lives) and  once you lose your final life, your camera automatically follows the tank that that killed you (pressing space would switch you to an alternate player). Players can use chat channels whilst alive but once they are out of the game chat is disabled to prevent conspiring. The game may finish when either the timer expires or when only one tank is left standing.

2 - DTF - Defend the Flag - A mix of DM and CTF, where the object of the game is to keep possession of the flag as long as possible. Unlike CTF where you capture and return it to your base, with DTF it's a matter of pure survival, the longer you hold it the more points you accrue. You might have to hide somewhere on the map while everyone else is trying to kill you to get the flag for themselves. I would imagine the flag being purple in colour to differentiate it from the usual red/blue team flags.

Finally I would like for Tanki to add Parkour as a limited option in the standard battles. I would suggest that all players get 1 FREE Parkour Pass per week (expires if unused) that allows them to play in one 30 minute parkour game only. This would introduce players to Parkour and encourage them to buy a PRO Battle Pass, which gives them more extensive customization options and the opportunity to play Parkour whenever they want,as long as they want, on any map they want for the whole month.

I thought of some new battle formats

 

You either need to either pick one or reject all. All of them except bounty hunter is only available in large maps.

 

Maze runner: walls will be added to the map, get from start to finish in the fastest time through the maze.

 

Obstacle course: extra hazards to avoid will be added to the maps. Complete it before everyone else. And if you die, you have to start at the beginning again.

 

Treasure hunt: find the treasure which is represented by an "X" before everyone else, and it would be a difficult to easily spot.

 

Bounty hunter: works in all maps, it starts out when a player kills many other players and still hasn't died yet, that player becomes the bounty Hunter, after that, whoever kills the bounty Hunter will become the new bounty hunter, and so on and so forth until the battle timer ends. I haven't figured out the reward part of it yet.

I don't like Maze Runner or Obstacle Course but Treasure Hunt and Bounty Hunter are great ideas with a lot of potential.

 

First I'd like to say that my reason for dismissing your first two ideas is that that Maze Runner would involve creating new maps (mazes) and with Maze Runner and Obstacle Course certain hulls and turrets would be obsolete and the idea of a TT (Time Trial) on Tanki doesn't mesh with existing modes.

 

That said, your other ideas are very interesting and i think would have wide appeal.

 

I would see Treasure Hunt working where each team has a team cache at their base and they go around the map searching for the X. Once a player finds the X they press the F button and retrieve the item (let's call it gold bullion). They then have to return it to the team cache, once it's in the cache they receive a value for the team. Players that recover "treasure" would have a golden glow around them, distinguishing them from other tankers. Enemy tankers can steal the gold by killing and collecting (as with CTF). The team with the highest value at the end of the battle wins.

 

As for the Bounty Hunter, I would like to see it working another way, where EVERY player in the game is a Bounty Hunter and each player is simply worth a bounty based on RANK. So every time you get a kill you earn the bounty from the player killed. At the end the winner is the person who has collected the most. Strategically players would need to decide do they try to kill off lower ranked players, which may be easier or do they target higher ranked players for a bigger piece of the pie or do they just try and kill everyone and hope for the best? Now rank does not mean that you have the best tank but as a general rule it would work for this game mode and perhaps encourage players to invest in their tank. It would also put a bit of (well-deserved) pressure on higher-ranked players.

I am not sure that this ain't posted before but "Better Late than never"..

How about a Gamemode called "The VIP" which is a team battle where a player from each team would be selected as VIP and the team mates has to protect him/her. These days, There isn't any team co-ordination in lower ranks. Obviously, This game isn't only for the high rankers. This gamemode will obviously boost their team spirit. (something like KTK)

This is another good idea for a team game and creates good strategy opportunities. Do players try to kill the enemy VIP or stay and protect their VIP? Which map location is the best place to protect their VIP? Simple but effective..well done.

 

Some things to think about are how a player becomes VIP and what to do if a VIP leaves? My suggestion would be that in the team base there is a pickup (like flags in CTF) that makes the tank a VIP for the whole duration of the battle. If the VIP leaves the game before the battle has finished another player is automatically selected at random as the new VIP.

The juggernauts

There will be 3 players with medium/heavy hulls and long/medium range weapons,the juggernauts,then there will be 10 players with close range weapons and light hulls,the two sides fight and which team has the most kills by the end of the match will win,only large maps will be available for this mode and it can be used by non pro pass owners and non premiums,YOU MUST enter with a light hull and short range weapon or a heavy/medium hull with a long /medium range weapon,if you enter with shaft and wasp it will say "your tank is not suitable for this battle"

Power destruction

There will be a team of ten players and another with ten players too,one side has the power module core and the other does not,

All the matches in this mode will last 35 min,in that time period the side with no power module core has to destroy it by doing 2500-4000 damage to it,while the side with the power module core has to defend it by killing enemy's or blocking sniper shots or in any way possible,this is a gamemode available on large maps only,creator of the battle can set power module cores health

my ideas and thoughts:

 

LTF: Last man standing is a horrible idea. People will press the P button or go to the garage just to make sure they do not die.

Infection: What happens if the infected and the killer both die at the same time? What if the killer presses P afterwards? Again, bad idea

 

My suggestion for a mode is "Box mode": A box drops in the map and whoever gets it will receive 10 points times number of participants except for the catcher. For example if there are 10 tankers, then 90 points will be given to the box catcher. If there is only one tank, he gets nothing. No score accumulation that exists in CTF or CP if someone is alone in the map.

Once the box is caught, a new box will immediately drop somewhere else on the map with 15 seconds delay (half the delay time of a gold box). Killing opponents will NOT give you any score, but will increase the chance you get the box. However, the funds of the match will be accumulated according to the normal killing mechanism of tanki online. Light hulls will travel the map much faster, but also will be killed more frequently. Heavy hulls might not reach all the drop zones of the boxes, but have a better chance at surviving once they reach a drop zone.

 

Small maps will have few tanks and bigger maps will have many tanks, but it will be quite difficult for them  to cover the whole map. The max number of tanks in a map  will be just like today in DM modes.

 

The mechanism of box dropping is already established in the game via gold boxes. It is just customizing the type of box and scoring. It will be a real mayhem battle which is enjoyable differently than DM. I guess experienced players will love the new mode which is quite different than anything else in TO.

Imagine "Box mode" with drugging and without - two different types.

 

BTW mults will be useless because you need to travel the map all the time searching for drop zones.
