Ideas for Game Modes!

Hello, I may have a new fashion idea ...
Sound Name: Attack
The principle: A target will be placed at a random place on the map, and the goal will be to inflict the most damage on the target!
 
Note: This is a team mode.
The target will be passive.
The damage of each team to the target will be displayed at the same time as to display the scores on the other modes {bottom right).
The target will be a tank in ruins but there will be no changes in appearance during the battle of the target if it absorbs a certain number of damage.
The target will not move.

- 15 minutes: 30,000
- 30 minutes: 60,000
- 60 minutes: 100,000
----------------------------------------------
There may be changes in the current mode of acceptance by the development team.

THIS is not a "fashion Idea"!! This is a Game Mode Idea!! 

 

I like it though, but calling it Attack?? No!!

 

Something like Siege! or Fortress! Siege Tower? idk!

Two team game, and both Teams have a solid structure Target they must protect!! It's not a tank! It's not an auto Turret! It doesn't fight back, It doesn't shoot anyone of it's own!! It's just A solid structure with a health of, say... 30k like you mentioned! Both teams have one, and make them fairly large! Not too big!! You don't want it to be seen from ALL parts of map... but maybe from some parts far out... none the less, the objective is the team that first destroys it's Opponents object, or Siege Tower, whatever it is, wins! Obviously... a lot of FIGHTING going on between the Objects as well!! AND... to make it hard to destroy them... as any other object (tank object) can be healed, so can the Object, or Siege Tower! Any Isida CAN target his own tower and try healing it! However... to prevent EITHER team from filling up all slots with all isidas and camp out on their own object to keep it alive, both teams can only have a max of 5-10% teammembers as Isida. 

 

Allow special effects as well... allow visuals to show the object crumbling and falling apart, and when drastically, or critically damaged, even appears to be on fire!! Etc! 

 

Question is... in any other battle, you see your own team mates tanks, name and health of your own team, but don't see the health of the enemy... should this game mode allow players to also see the health of the enemy object, Siege Tower?? Maybe floating above the object like it does on tank, or maybe two color bars on top of screen showing the health of both objects so everyone sees how their Object, or Tower, compares with the other... but will also notice when health is applied, can see when they are healing it!! etc!

I have another Game Mode Idea...

 

The Gauntlet! or call it The Shootout (like a hockey style shootout)...

This game still includes Fighting like any other, but only limited! Say a team of 5v5... but only 1v1 at a time. 

The Guantlet starts out, the first two names atop either team list spawn first on map! They have 1 minute to kill each other, or they both are removed, and the next two spawn. Every time a tank is removed, either killed, or they took too long, they go to the bottom of the list for their team! 

 

Once the two fighting eachother go at it, and one is killed, his team spawns the next one on the list, but the survivor remains on the map. Clock resets at 1 min. They have 60 seconds to find and kill eachother. Each kill equals another point for team. Any one player can remain in the Gauntlet for upto 5 rounds (maybe more, maybe less... debatable). If he reaches limit, he is removed next spawn, and the next on list spawns on map same time the opposing player spawns. However, when removed becuase you stayed on map long enough, and was not killed, you gain an extra 5 points for team (so 10 points total in last 5 rounds, as you killed 5 targets, as well as surviving 5 rounds) as a bonus. Each player first spawning on map, also has the opportunity to remain on map long enough for 5 rounds, but if killed, the next player spawning starts the 5 round timer over again. 

 

Sense each round, or battle in this game mode, is a 1v1, ALL conventional tactics are thrown out the window... Still allow all tanks to choose any Combo they wish... however, Shafts count on other shafts, and if you don't destroy your target in first shot, you just revealed your position to the enemy! Normally, other Shafts on your team might contirbute to kill, but when 1v1, you don't have that secondary fire support!! If your a close range turret like that of Firebird, or Frost, Isida, etc... you rely on other team members to cover you in open fields... but alone? This style game mode will cause everyone to rethink their fighting strategy!!

 

Also not like any other 1v1 game where it's the same guy over and over... You kill your target, don't think his teammate spawning after him will be so easy! All tanks on stand bye will be watching game from a viewfinder allowing each tank to see the team member view who currently fighting... so they might seen what, where, how the enemy is fighting before teammate is killed! They can't help, as chat between those on Standbye, and in the guantlet, will not be available. Those on standbye can only talk to eachother within team... those on the map can talk trash between eachother (as they are only 1v1 opponents) trying to taunt eachother.

 

Also, when each tank is killed and waiting for next spawn, there will be a ten second delay, allowing for last second changes...So for those on Standby before entering the Gauntlet... you have on side of window while watching 3x boxes to change equip.. like in the garage, or make it where your standby automatically goes to garage, you have chance of selecting your equip before entering the fight as the next spawn. If you were in previously as a Shaft, and lost to a Fire-bird who snuck up on you... than maybe you change turret and enter your next round as a similar firebird, or Frost, etc! So every time a new player spawns in The Gauntlet, he could have a different tank combo, chosen while on stand bye! 

 

Overall... The Gauntlet game mode can last 30 min or something. So in the Gauntlet, everyone sees two timers... the Game mode timer counting down 30 min to Zero, and the round timer! Instead of Game mode ENDING on the 30 min timer... when that timer ends, the Current Round continues til finished, as it will only take 1 min. If one dies with only seconds left on Game Mode timer, and new spawns start with time left, than they will continue til either them kill, or timer runs out, than game over, deciding winner by accumulated Gauntlet points. 

 

Awards can also be distributed to those on either team who had most kills, etc. For awards... the winning team, ALL players get a CRY award, while both team also awards the TOP three of team (most kills) a CRY award subsequent to their effort. So the Battlefund accumulated will give 25% of BF to the Winning team to be given equally to those on team, and the remaining 75%, 35% is given to top players on both teams for top effort of team, 25% is given to both 2nd place players, and 15% is given to both 3rd place! The winning team still getting more per position as those will also be given part of the team award for winning! 

 

Ie... to see the numbers... If 5v5, and Blue wins over Red. Awards are not given according to how many kills anyone had, just what position they came in compared to other kills. So, for numbers ex, lets say 1000 CRY points for Battlefund. 25% is 250 CRY points to Blue team, /5 = giving 50 CRY points to all 5 players on Blue. 35% of BF is 350 CRY split between both 1st place, so Red and Blue #1 both get 175 CRY. 25% is 250 CRY for both 2nd place, so 125 CRY for Red and Blue #2, and 15% is 150 CRY split, 75 CRY for both 3rd place... + those on winning team get 50 CRY each for winning. Total, those on BLUE, 1st gets 175 CRY + 50 CRY is 225 CRY for Blue #1, while Red only got 175. Blue #2 got 125 CRY + 50 CRY, so 175 CRY total for Blue #2, while Red only got 125. Blue #3 only got 75 CRY + 50 CRY so Blue got 125 CRY while Red only got 75 CRY. The rest of Blue got 50 CRY, and the rest of Red got None.

This is not so much a game-mode as a format:

 

Introducing the "Realism" Mode.

 

Equipment: Shaft and Viking, Prodigi or other camo paint (under 10k crystals in price).

 

Maps: Only Massacre.

 

Mode: TDM.

We need a battle mode in Tanki that you can't kill anyone,I will explain why.First of all,lets talk about that one rank up party you wanted to have but a foreign player joined and couldn't understand the "no-kill"(or just a noob who wants to mess a tanker's rankup.Also there should be an option to not kill in parkour battles.Some noobs join parkour battles to kill for fun... :unsure: .You could play RFG much easier with friends or public if no one could kill.Mines would still work though.If a mult/noob mines the field thats his problem that he's wasting his mines.Also perhaps add options of what drugs to include in battle?So in parkour battles people don't take double damage... :mellow: .That would be a nice update for Tanki.

Then people could create non-drug gold rains where you couldn't use drugs but still drop gold boxes.I would appreciate  if the Tanki teams thought this over and took this idea in.

Add a Zombie mode to Tanki Online, where you can play on your own, with friends or with random people.

A team of 5-10 people will be in each map. Supplies will be disabled, but not pickups. Upgrades will also be off. Alterations may stay.

In this mode you will play on the Halloween map. A group of isida and hornet Tanks wearing zombie paint will be the ''zombies''. The objective is to stay alive as long as possible. The isidas will start off a few M0s then each round up they become harder and more and more come. with each round they go up a modification. Once they reach M4, all modifications M0,M1,M2,M3 and M4s will be attacking you. Once everybody non-zombie tank dies the battle will be over, with a battle fund. And the zombie isidas are endless and never stop coming.

my idea is to create a new battle mode called "Boss", in this game there is a team of 15 tankers and a massive tank ( the Boss ), on this tank can join 8 players for defend or attack the other team,

the players need to destroy the boss before he kill they're team, the boss have 100000 hp.

it would be cool to have elimination as in having a game mode where you cannot respawn after five minutes and winner gets at least 100 crystals for beating the rest also players who died can spectate as well as joining players or players can leave. Having spectation would allow players to stay in the battle instead of quiting and rejoining. I also recomend having a spectation mode so players who just want to spectate can do it  also team elimination where it actually counts kills and each round ends when players from the other team or every one except for one person is left.

Two teams.

Both teams have to try to collect as many boxes (not supplies) that are the color of the enemy team. Collecting a box should take about 4 seconds. (There is no "returning" boxes) There should be about 5 boxes for each team in the beginning, and every time one is collected, another one should appear.

 

Objective: Collect enemy boxes and prevent the enemies from collecting your team's boxes.

I like the idea... maybe with some improvement, or more detail!!

 

 

What about the small maps with small amount of drop zones?

I would call it Box Hoarding! Which would be what was mentioned, with a WICKED TWIST!! 

So each size of map could include an extra 5x Drops... the smallest size of map could include 5x drop zones for the boxes. Next size up would include 5 more drop zones,  and so on! I think their are 5x total size categories? Small, medium, large, extra large, huge? Idk how many different sizes their are, but taking a guess to show my point. If their were 5x total sizes, Huge being the largest, and each had 5x +, than the Huge would include 25x drop points. 

 

Also... each box dropped is Nuetral! Grey! No color! Anyone taking box needs to sit on box to collect for 5x seconds, pending you Survive! However, Collecting the box does not permanently give to your team!! Noooo! Here's where the Twist comes in! 

 

As any Team game, both teams have their own respective sides of map they spawn on! For either side, the Base, all the boxes collected by team appear in the Base, and start stacking in "a secure spot"! So after a while, it's a stack of bunch of boxes. These are now colored, as they are collected, by the respective team's color. Why collect on the map in the base? Cause the opposing team can try stealing your box, collecting it the same manner they collect the Neutrals. This creates a battle of WITS!! Who collects Neutral? Also attacks and fights others for the Neutral? Who Defends those in the base? Who attacks the others Base and tries to collect the boxes? To survive, real team work would have to be displayed! 

 

CTF was challenging enough worrying about defending base while attacking other base, to collect a flag and survive long enough to get it home, only to find your flag is gone, and now you have to survive long hoping your flag is returned!! 

 

But with Box Hoarding? they don't need to run back across map to return a flag, or box. They just need stand on your team's boxes long enough to gather each one. Yes. Each one. Not ONE box with a number representing how many boxes are being Hoarded... Many boxes, all representing One point each. So if your team has collected 5x boxes from the field and 5x more from the other team, your team has 10 boxes stacked up in few different stacks, in the back of your base some where. How many per stack? I don't know, let the developers figure that out! 

 

But to take each box from team, you have to sit there on the box for 5 seconds, EACH BOX!! So if you show up in opposing team base, and see many stacks, first stack you pick has 5x boxes stacked, you pull in sitting on the bottom one for the 5 seconds. It disappears. If alive, continue, 5 more seconds pass, the second disappears... continuing, if able, and you survive long enough, after 25 seconds, that whole stack is now in your base! But only need 5 seconds per box, each disappearing individually! 

 

Than it comes to serious TANK battles in either base, trying to take or defend your box HOARDING while some teammates still trying to collect Neutral, and others are attacking the Opposing team's boxes! Also... can only try taking One stack at a time... if your tank is pulled on box far enough that you are touching both? either or... neither stack is counting in your favor til you pull back, only touching one stack at a time... or even though you touched a stack stack after first, it still only counts down on the first stack touched, although if entire stack disappears, than you continue to count down on the second stack. Most likely, you will not surive long enough, as the opposing team likely to kill you! 

 

Obviously, the team with the highest Box Hoarding score wins the game! Maybe time limits? Maybe box hoarding Goals? Obviously it can get OVERSTOCKED of boxes if allowed. However, the larger maps with more Box Drops, will likely have more space in their base to hold more... so the larger maps allow teams to hold more, allowing the Box Hoarding game to last longer. Scoring individually? Maybe the game keeps track how many Boxes each player Collects (Neutral), Interferes (kill shot of someone taking Neutral), Steals (effectively taking opposing team box), and saves (kill shot on someone taking your team's box), along with kills and killed, and experience is tallied up, like any other, and rewards of CRY can be given according to the Battle fund, relating to how each did, just like other game modes on maps, and how they track the exp. 

 

Soooooooo..... What's everyone think of my Box Hoarding Game Mode, added to what was mentioned?

One last point, each box drop takes so much time, (idk how much, developers choose),                                                  \\\///

So obviously if one disappears, camping for next would probably be a bad idea!                                                               \\//

I would like to see a game mode option where player's names can be turned off.  Here is why.  As a player and trying to use the paints to blend and camouflage myself.  However, there is this BIG shoot me first sign floating over my tank.  So, much for camouflage...  Just thinking out loud.  What do you think?

I actually think this could be a good idea, for an option in a game setup screen, for someone hosting the game. Pro of course.

 

Here's my concern... Your in a match. Say it's 10 v 10. You get in... you kill, you get killed. Next thing you know, you seen a pattern. The same guy you've killed once when you had a good fight, suddenly seems to target you! You fight, either he kills you or vis versa. Suddenly soon after, there he is again! Meanwhile he talking trash about you in the game chat. Does he have a personal Vendetta against you or something? By the time the game is over, you realize he's responsible for half the times you were killed! 

 

If option was available, where you can remove Name tags from Enemy only, no matter how close they are to you (they do seem to not appear when far away)... than you can't know who they are by targeting. Only after you kill, or they kill you, will both know in the kill tracking on upper right of screen when it says "Who Killed Who"... the only way to consider ANY recollection of who your target is... is by Paint! In a map where likely everyone uses same Paint, such as snow, and most using white or snow camo... it would be difficult to know who is what by paint! So than, people stop trying to carry out personal vendetta's and just play the game! 

 

I'll be honest too!! I've done the same, some times! I have found my self wondering "Where is that guy" because he had the better hand in last fight match, or the last time we faced each other!

There is a big big problem tanki, i guess a new system must be used to avoid this. There is the map of noise and silence, both great maps, however there is a big big noob problem there most usually in pro battles without drugs, Let me explain.

 

These map have an upper and lower side. The problem is that only the lower side is interested to play in most cases. It happens everytimee, more than you expected. There are many players come with their tanks big big tank in silence, do not move at all, crushing everyone coming to get the flag. Their kill ratio is high than death compared to the lower side who only attempts to get to flag. They block both way left and right no move at all, the lower side are having more than hard timee to get the flag.

 

Now for noise, the upper side, there is many campers with railgun, thunder, smoky and they do not care for flag only shooting players coming to get the flag. Noise is a very narrow map to get flag if play in the lower side.

 

The problem is that the players from the upper side do not play at all, they only camps and waits for getting kills. THEIR exp, ranks move faster than us. Also, when there is timer, the battle go draw, they get the majority of the fund. Even you are wining, their points are higher than you, that means the fund receives is maybe a few less. THEN WHAT THE USE YOU PLAY THE BATTLE IF THEY BENEFITS LIKEE THIS.

Even the battle draw, your team done more than the other team, yet they will get more than you. Why???

The solutions is that tanki do something to avoid players from doing such camping, its worst than camping, 4 hours sitting in flag 7-8 players silence, no move at all. Hardly they die 25, you 200 or more.Also, many players is likee this, they come rail and just shoot no corporation at all, only the way to make you lose.

 

If no fair play, the game is ruin, tanki you must have a new system created to counter this such as you did for drugs, now the situation is already been worst, it is becoming more worst.

Another NEW idea of mine I have just recently come up with! 

 

Elite Gold Battle!

Higher ranking Tanks (or operators) could have an option to REALLY challenge their skills pitted against other HOT HEADED and arrogant users who must think they are best, and can't be convinced otherwise until they have been defeated in an Elite Gold Battle where He has Gambled away ALL his Gold (or some, however many) Boxes. 

 

Simple mechanics really! 

 

Each game created takes some time til developed, and once it starts, no one joins. If one leaves early, they lose crystal? Maybe. IDK! While game is in standby or everyone waiting, they can choose to include How many Gold Boxes they wish to GAMBLE! 

 

So if one player only wants to RISK losing ONE box... he can choose the One box. If someone chooses 3 boxes, he risks losing 3x boxesl How ever MANY boxes one wishes to Gamble... is how many times one can die in the fight. So if you contribute 20 minutes into a fight, and died 3x times. Everytime you Die, you automatically Drop a Gold box on the field. If your only allowed to die 3x in game giving up your 3x gambled boxes... once you die that third time, you are stuck in spec mode, waiting til fight ends. 

 

So as I said. This fight mode only for the higher up! Only available to those willing to risk giving up their own. So if you only risk ONE but you're reallly good... you last long time before you die, and than you give up your box as it now drops but you can't respawn cause that was the only one you contributed.

There are a lots of XP  battle in each servers. Railgun have been given many advantages... But there should be anti-railgun option in pro battle speailly in polygon CP where failgun is unable to join... its freaking annoying sometimes..

Do the developers actually check these ideas and think about creating them ? Or this forum is just for wasting the tanker's time ?
