Ideas for Game Modes!

Actually all those mini-game modes have to be created by the dev's to be available for the players.. and as there is no difference in code, if the gamemode is "mini" or not, I merged your topic to here :)

 

Because first you need to have the gamemodes.. then you can think of moving them into a special server ;)

i know they've been created but like a special server or mode for it if you know what i mean?

I don't think devs would consider implementing this at all. Why would they just create battles giving extra crystals away so easily? This should only be like an event held a few times a week, which it already is. Both the English and German community hold such events about 3-4 times a week.

Its a good idea , but whats the point of the Anti-Cheat ?

Anti-cheat is meant for players to kill non-hackers so they think it works against hackers. The problem is, it doesnt work.

Maybe this is fun because I always want to do a Wasp Fire battle and my idea is a Wasp Fire Game Mode

WF = Wasp Fire must have fire m2,3 and wasp m2,3 no micro upgrade and alt.

Jeez, first sentence and I want to fall asleep already. No wonder TDM is hardly played, because it's just to boring! But I have a idea, not for a new game mode, but to change how TDM is played!

 

Instead of just a point per kill, how about kill streak multipliers?

 

1 kill - 1 point

2 kills - 1 point

3 kills - 3 points

4 kills - 3 points

5 - 9 kills - 5 points

10+ kills - 10 points

 

Now, how do you get such a streak and keep it without dying? Well, this streak will not be dependent on if you die or not. Instead, it'll be like a timer.

 

1 - 2 kills - 60 seconds until streak is lost

3 - 4 kills - 45 seconds until streak is lost

5 - 9 kills - 30 seconds until streak is lost

10+ kills - 15 seconds until streak is lost

 

So, the higher your streak, the less time you have until your streak runs out. Also, somewhere on the screen, maybe to the top right, will be a number to show what streak you're on, with a circle around it that'll run out according to the streak you're on:

 

​1 - 2 kills - x1

​3 - 4 kills - x3

​5 - 9 kills - x5

​10+ kills - x10

 

​Assisted kills count towards this, even if you don't get the kill. So, if you cause damage to an enemy and another teammate finishes them off, the timer will reset, so if I'm on the x5 streak with 10 seconds left and I shoot an enemy and a Shaft kills him, my timer will restart. That player you shot can go for as long as he can, but once he died, you share the kill. since even getting and keeping such streaks won't be easy, especially if you die and are running low on time.

 

To make things even more interesting, when you kill an enemy, they drop a dog tag which you have to pick up, like a supply box. This simply gives you an extra point for the kill but doesn't affect the streak. But, these will disappear after 20 seconds. Also, if an enemy gets the tag, your team loses 3 points since you didn't get it in time.

 

This is going to make TDM much more competitive in my opinion. I mean 1 point to get the tag but lose THREE if an enemy gets it? Well, ya better hurry! Plus, the streaks give tankers a reason to kill other than picking a target and hoping you get the kill.

Wow... you created an alt, reached the rank when you are allowed to post in the forum, and come here to insult me in your very first post? So much effort for a few words. I would feel honored - if I would care for attention.

to answer your question, the original poster related his idea to TDM, so it's related to a game mode (or more precise, the change of a gamemode). If you think that's wrong, then please give a valid reason and explanation.

I don't like these post and forget topics, but anyway, I'll post my idea:

 

New Game Mode: CTB (Capture The Boxes)

 
It will be like the opposite of DM, where you can't kill others. And there will be no teams.
 
The goal is to pick up supplies to get EXP to get rewards. Goldboxes will probably have a zero value, maybe be black, but it will give you additional EXP for additional rewards.
 
Supplies should fall anywhere, top of buildings, pits, etc. Or maybe not, because of hackers.
 
You can't farm kills here because no one can kill, unless you turn on the infamous friendly fire.
 
There will be no flags and no points to capture.

I was playing 2 vs 5 and was leading but battle didn't auto terminated. enemies lead and tick tick started.. It should not be like this,, If there are 2 vs 5 players it should end doesn't matter who leading..

New Mode : The Dark Mode

 

The whole map would be dark and there only be light in front of you like headlights. You can see your teammates glowing red or blue based on which team and the flags and capture points would be lit up and there could also be certain places in the maps where it would be lit up and the supply boxes would be glowing too. Oh and striker and shaft's laser would obviously be seen. What do you think guys? Good? Bad?

I don't really like this idea. It would be impossible to drive. We would flip too many times and it would be really hard to even kill an enemy. I prefer the ''Nigh mode'' that is already in the game.

This format can be applied to any team battle: CP, CTF, or TDM. 

 

 

                               It is played just like a normal battle of that type except for:

                                 The first player to join each team is nominated "captain" of that team.

                                   The "captain" has a birds eye view of the amp in addition to the normal game screen.

                                    By clicking a teammates tank and then clicking a point on the map, a green arrow will appear (like in the Tanki tutorial) to the point. Only the Captain can do this. If the player does not follow the arrow he will lose score.

                                  The captain takes longer to re-spawn than a normal member of the team.

 

                                   While the captain is destroyed, his teams turrets do less damage.The player that joins after the Captain is nominated "Captains Guard". He must stay close to the captain, and gains additional score and experience for each tank he destroys that has damaged the Captain. If the Captain leaves the battle the Captains Guard becomes the new Captain.

                                                              

 

 

 

                               Everyone please give feedback and ideas to make this as good as possible.

Cool idea, but I doubt it would be popular. I wouldn't want to have a random captain giving me orders in the game - I have my own strategy and tactics, so I don't want to lose score because someone tells me to go somewhere I didn't plan on going.

Format: Protect the VIP


One or each team has a VIP tank who must be protected while they try to reach a certain point in the map, while the other team try to prevent that by trying to destroy the VIP tank

The VIP tank automatically cycles between players after each failed or successful run
