Ideas for Game Modes!

I am glad that the servers have all been merged (though it would be good to have a server where you can chat in English again).

 

To make the battle page simpler: as well as the buttons for DM, TDM, CTF and CP, could we also have buttons to exclude Parkour and XP/BP games from the listing?  Then it would be easier to find the battles we are looking for.

Tanki Online Battle Royale !

 

Hey devs,

 

Battle royale games are really popular and cool at this moment so why our favourite game dosen't have a mode like that ?

 

First, you choose the number of pepole you want in the game (25,50 or 100) so if people dosen't have the time to play you can still have a fun time ! Next everybody randomly spawn on a bigger map with a hornet M0 hull but with no weapon. The idea is to find weapons (M0 for Standard, M1 for rare, M2 for super rare and M3 for legendary).You can also find hulls with the same rules,(M0 for Standard, M1 for rare, M2 for super rare and M3 for legendary). You can also take supplies which are dropping like in our normal game mode to use it when its useful. To make players move, the map is getting smaller, so if you are not in the restricted area you'll take damage. The goal of the game mode is to kill all the other players. If you kill a enemy player you can take his supplies, hull or weapon. You can only have one weapon or hull at the same time.

 

Now about playing with friends, in squad. 1 to 5 players, you can see your teammates through walls and you can see his life by looking the color of his tank. You can give supplies to your teammates too. To give to informations to your teammates you have north, west, south, and east with numbers between them to be the most precised.

 

Thats all for my game mode i know its not finished yet but ill update it slowly. Now i just hope devs will put it in Tanki Online !

I guess this is the most fitting forum for my comment, so it will have to do. Can you take away the 5-minute equipment change limit in parkour battles? I recognize its importance in regular battles, but it is so ANNOYING in pro parkour battles when I just want to change my equipment for better parkour.

Defend The Base (DFB)

There are two teams, red and blue, one team attacks and the other defends. It's somewhat like the new game mode that's about to be introduced, Assault, but here one team would have a building (can be any other thing, idk) with 100k hp in their base and they're supposted to defend it from the other team that's supposted to destroy the building. If the building gets destroyed, the team loses and the other wins. For shorter battles, the hp of the building is reduced (5 min = 30000 hp, etc..). The building would be covered with a shield around it or something, so no long ranged turrets can deal damage to it since it would be too easy to destroy then, it would be needed to get close to it to deal damage to it.

please return back repair kit helaing!!! It is not point in healing now!! Automatic weapons like twins or ricochet ruining repair kit and game too!! they are so OP now!! No chance to win against them!!

They're not ruining the repair kit at all. What about Magnum that's so OP it deals heavy damage even when it passes/flies right next or above you?

I think that Tanki should event a completely new game mode called capture the base. So what happens is tanki makes a whole new map but have  it be really big and have bases situated at either end of the map. Then the team  tries to get to the base and  capture it with it taking 100 seconds to capture the  base.

PROTECT THE VIP MODE (PTV)

 

Disclaimer: I actually saw this mode when I was playing laser tag last summer but I thought it would fit Tanki perfectly. So, this idea isn't mine originally but who cares?  :P 

 

Protect the VIP or Defend the VIP mode is basically a 10v10 mode in one of the Medium or Large maps. One player is randomly selected to be the VIP, who, apart from the other tankers, has only 3 lives.

 

  • The team who kills the opposing teams VIP wins
  • If none of the VIPs are fully dead (ran out of their 3 lives) then the VIP who has the highest life on the certain team will win

​However, because the VIP only has 3 lifes, mine cool down time will be decreased

It doesnt matter which hull the VIP uses as long as it survives, light hulls might even be better VIPs since they can run at the face of danger

It may not sound like much, but in the future it may be possible to add team bases with actual defense points that can defend the base or team territory.

 

This would work like a CP battle each team starts on opposite ends of the maps but have one objective in which they have to take control of the CP points.

 

Generally this how this game mode might work as you capture the point the access of a defense turret is built and left to defend the territory in which you have conquered. Enemy teams may as well do the same for there territory, but if your teams defense turret is destroyed it will be rebuilt under the red or blue teams color and defend for  them and no longer for you. 

 

Once your team has conquered all the map the game goes into sudden death in which the final players battle to the death, but once you have been destroyed you cannot spawn back if your team has no points left.

Greetings. I would like to have an elimination mode or a brackets tournament mode at some point in the game... (I know this must have been suggested a bit, but I really think it's a good idea since ASL was added)

 

Elimination would be in a deathmatch-like format (No teams) and when a player gets eliminated, they would be kicked from the match in some way and get their place reward (9th place, 1% or something) when the game ends, but the winner would get the most battle fund of all, about 60% or so... (Change if you would like) ... This would be a very high ranked match which unlocks at a higher rank (WO1 maybe). This would be great because there is only a single no-team mode, [deathmatch,] and would add variety and maybe some no-team interests because everybody hates DM, amirite?

 

Brackets tournament would be a long-term gamemode where from 2-4 people fight at a time, then the winner of the match would go on to the next match against the person that won the other match in a 1v1. The only downside? Long waiting times due to waiting for people to join. (I don't see much potential for this to be a mode that earns much battle fund, so do whatever you want.)

I want you to make a new mode in which you can play for hours and earn crystals,but gain no experience.It will be a nice way to earn crystals and it will benefit non buyers tankers too.People will love this update.Bring this mode out. and even test it in test server

but wait, for playing in these non-exp battles you can make passes which will be too expensive and can be bought in the shop only with real money.then you will be able collect nice revenue.I hope now you agree

The Blue team points should only proceed when Blue team stays at defending point, not like this > they all in Red base and blue team's base point increasing :wacko: Does it make sense?

this idea came to me from racing games.

 

1.The battle is played with two teams.

 

2.The goal of every single player is to reach a land  marked with a line and bring points to the team.Both teams play for the same land that is marked.

 

every passing of the line the team gets one point. 

3.Reaching  the number of points schould be  between 50 to 70 points.

 

4.After  a player passes the line  and earns a point for the team,he or she can not earn again a point except after dying.After being reborn will give a chance for earning points again.  The reason of having to die and to be able to earn a point again is that a player can just drive front and back all the time when he reaches the line  which will be too easy so that is why he has to die and be reborn to be able to earn points again.

 

5.Supplies are allowed in the game including gold.

 

6.The battle is not about being just fast and being lucky to not be killed when you are trying to reach a line it is also about being tacticly.

For example:viking with twins gets healed by isida and gets a bigger chance of reaching the line.Also after reaching the line the tanker does not have to die or make self destruct. he can play after getting a point defensive by putting mines for the oppenent team to reach the line or try to slow  the enemy by attacking them.

GAME MODE: KILL THE GENERAL

 

Each team has a GENERAL, that if is killed by the enemy team, they get a point. Up to 5 points. 

 

The General would be the best tanker, or can be a flag that can be dropped.The flag means the tanker is the General.

Onslaught Mode (OST)

 

There are 4 teams; red, blue, green, and white.

Onlslaught mode is basically CTF and CP in one battle.

 

Rules:

Red team and blue team are against each other, and at their bases are points. They fight each other to control as many points as they can (max is two), meaning the team that controls both points will win, until the other team retains control. (It’s the same mechanics as CP mode)

Green team and White team are against each other, an at their bases are flags. They fight each other to capture as many flags as they can (one flag captured gives the team 10 points). (Same mechanics as CTF mode)

 

Here’s the catch, say you are on the green team, you are able to destroy players on the white team, AND players on the red and blue team as well, even though capping points is not your objective. The same goes for all other teams.

 

Each team has 5 players (because of the new update on maps). 2 should defend, 1 should counter-attack/ attack, and the other 2/3 should attack. Since you can destroy other players that are not on your objective, it will be quite hard getting to the main enemy base.

 

The game ends when time is up, and the team with the highest score wins (max is 100), or when one team is the first to receive 100 points.

 

NOTE: The points at the blue and red base are neutral at the start of the battle, and are up for grabs by the red or blue team. The green and white team cannot interfere with the points, even thought their players are within the capping range of the points. The same goes for the red and blue team, their players cannot pick up or return the green and white team’s flags.

 

The bases will be set up in this layout: think of the map as a square. The two opposite sides will be the red and blue base, with one point in each; the green and white bases will be in the other two sides, opposite from each other, with their corresponding flags in each base.

 

The winning team(s) will receive far more crystals than the losing teams.

 

Hopefully the devs will take this into consideration.

It'd be cool to see a different type of Capture the Flag. Instead of two flags, with one on each side of the map, have only one flag in the middle. Then teams have to take the flag to the capture zone in their base. This also means that you can't return the flag, so if the enemy team takes it into their base, your will have to bring it all the way back.

 

This game mode will:

 

  • Encourage attacking
  • Discourage Camping
  • Encourage using tactics and strategy
  • Would also be insanely fun.  :lol:

 

Tanki is already making a mode like this, they named it “Rugby” mode.
