Ideas for Game Modes!

More of a reward for capturing flags/assaulting base.

 

I captured 3 flags in a battle, killed 3 and died 23 times= 20something Xtals and precious little experience.

 

Next game, same map I sat on the flag and just shot at people trying to capture. 150+ Xtals and more experience. 

 

Assault is pretty much the same. I assaulted the base constantly for 15minutes succeeded a few times and got killed a lot. 20 or so Xtals. If I was worried about K/D ratio then there is no way I'm going to play this. 

 

If there was a worthwhile Xtal or other bonus for capturing the flag then the game may be more fast paced and fluid rather than the majority being 8 defenders and a couple of faster attackers. There is no statistic for number of flags captured/bases assaulted in the profile. Capture 20 flags get a container, something like a constantly rolling mission so it would count in non pro matches.

 

Plenty of the games I play just seem to be TDM with a twist.

I have an idea for a format battle, I call it SW or Smoky/Wasp, I have played like this with friends and it's way more fun than XP/BP, (whenever I play XP/BP people see my rank and then they all start yelling in the chat: LEAVE NOOB! It's incredibly obnoxious). And it definetly makes more sense than Striker Hornet for crying out loud.

Two teams red and blue two bases belonging to each team in each base each team will have a beacon, if the beacon is destroyed by the enemy team that team can no longer re-spawn (EX: red team destroys blue teams beacon: if a member of the blue team dies, he cant re spawn and will receive his reward and get the boot) last team standing/team with most players standing will win. NOTES: The Beacons cannot be affected by short-range weapons, the only way the beacons can heal is if that team gets a kill, each kill done by that team will heal their beacon by 1 H.P. but if a member of the team self-destructs the beacon will lose 1 H.P.

Invader Mode

 

There are 3 teams, red, green, and blue.

There is a single control point in the middle of the map, in which the green team automatically controls. (Green spawn area)

 

Green team’s main objective is to defend that point from the invaders, the red team.

 

Red team and blue team spawn on opposite sides of the map.

 

Red team’s objective is to capture the central point.

 

Blue team’s main objective is killing, they are secondary enemies to the green team that can cause a big threat.

Their objective is to kill players from the red and green team. They can’t capture the central point, regardless of how close they are.

 

*Each team can kill each other’s players.

 

Scoring system:

Green team earns points just like in CP mode, stops earning points when the red team caps the point, in which the green team has to recap. However, unlike CP, the score increases twice a s fast.

 

Red team earns 2 points from capping the central point, and 1 point every time a Player kills a green team member. Their points will only increase by 2 when capping the central point, and will only go up when killing green team, or recapping central point.

 

Blue team earns half a point every time they kill an enemy. (I will explain why next)

 

Team Distribution:

Red and green team have 5 players each, but the blue team has up to 10 players.

 

Only members from the blue team can form alliances with players on the red or green team.

 

Game ends when time limit is reached or 1 team reaches 100 points.

Kill the king in holiday event:-

 

Similar version of the event kill the king where a group of 5 bots will be enter in the area with spectrum module with percentage of like 50% or more. 

Using shafts, striker and magnum won't deal any damage but the melee X2 damage.

4 bots would guard the king.

the guards are immortal as they got module, killing them leads to dropping of gold. 

when king dies, Map starts again. 

When guard dies, He dies. but the leftovers get X2 damage done by them, when 2 dies, X3 damage done and the last guard is the godmode_on.

killing the King leads to ending the match. the funds would be given to players based on rate of damage.

 

Only in holidays.

PLEASE DONT MAKE A GAME IN HTML5!!!! bcs lots of people will left the game and tanki graphics will get worster. i play this game 3 YEARS!!! plz dont let me  leave :(

I thought a new game mode:

FootBall 

There would be a ball with a physics. If any team did a goal the ball will disappear and fall again from sky just like in rugby mode. So what do you think?pHoHT3I.jpgWAnhuai.jpg

do tankers play basketball in real life. Then why not include basketball in the game. I mean most of us know how to play it so it should be added. There is 2 teams. the same and old red and blue. YOU WILL NEED MAGNUM  EQUIPED TO PARTICIPATE. this is a violent less mode. magnum will be used to shoot the ball. there will be a hoop somewhere in the map. 1 will be located on red and one on blue. depending if your good at magnum or not. depending how much power you use to fire magnum. it will shoot the ball. Your goal is to find the manager who will drop the ball on the map. You need to get the ball, find the enemies score hoop, and aim your magnum high so it can score. Yes there will be a 1, 2, and 3 point line. when the ball is scored the game is paused untill 1 person from 1 team finds the ball. there will be periods. When the period ends you will recieve gems and you will be in a hallway to hang out. When the period is about to start, you will see a game alert that says, "the game is going to resume in how many seconds. When you spawn on the floor. There will be a special map where you can play this. the map is called Full Court. Here's how the game goes. Each period is 15 minutes. you can create a basketball game and decide how many periods there are. when you try to join during a game, you will be taken to the bleachers. There will be 2 extra teams where you can choose which team to vote for . you can buy one team's flag for 99 gems. Depending which team you vote for. if you are here to play. you will sit on the frount of the bleachers. When the period ends. players who join will be in trade for people who played the last period. the ball will bounce. you can use magnum to launch the ball to your team mates. you can shoot from 5 tank lengths away. you can  shoot from the free throw line at an aprox 30% power at about an 45 degrees angle. up to 8 people can join per team. up to 20 per team can join to watch the game. if a person playing on the floor leaves from 1 team, then a random volenteer waiting to play for that team will take that tank's place. There will be 2 bleachers. score doesn't matter. people can leave and join during period prep. the M# for magnum doesn't matter. the reloading time will be faster for easier game play. reload time will be 2 seconds. YOU MUST HAVE THE BALL TO LAUNCH THE BALL WITH MAGNUM. When this game message appears"  Gold box will be dropped soon  " . The game will be paused. after this message appears " (insert_player_here) has taken the gold box.  that is all for now

Not sure about this one, but I can tell you for a fact that developers did consider a "volleyball" game mode when they were working on Rugby.

hello tanki online 

i have a new mode that maybe like u

the mode name:....Destroyed and defended

at first the game will choose normaly any tanker to be a gaint fort and the team must destroy the enimes fort 

and the team musnt let enimes destroy your fort first 

it will be a turrets just to this mode.

gaint thunder,gaint railgun,gaint magnum,and a Special structure...

gaint hunter,gaint viking,gaint dectator,and anther hull or structure

the team who will destroy the enimes fort first 

wins !!!

that all what i have ..............hope to like this idea

I don't really have an idea for a NEW mode, just have one visual effect for CTF and didn't know where else to post it so...

 

I think just like in Rugby they added more animations so I think more animated effects should be added in CTF like all I could think of for now is like the flag waving around while you're running and  it stops or maybe even hang down a little when u stop it'll just make it look more reaslistic!

Tanki Online Battle Royale !

 

Hey devs,

 

Battle royale games are really popular and cool at this moment so why our favourite game dosen't have a mode like that ?

 

First, you choose the number of pepole you want in the game (25,50 or 100) so if people dosen't have the time to play you can still have a fun time ! Next everybody randomly spawn on a bigger map with a hornet M0 hull but with no weapon. The idea is to find weapons (M0 for Standard, M1 for rare, M2 for super rare and M3 for legendary).You can also find hulls with the same rules,(M0 for Standard, M1 for rare, M2 for super rare and M3 for legendary). You can also take supplies which are dropping like in our normal game mode to use it when its useful. To make players move, the map is getting smaller, so if you are not in the restricted area you'll take damage. The goal of the game mode is to kill all the other players. If you kill a enemy player you can take his supplies, hull or weapon. You can only have one weapon or hull at the same time.

 

Now about playing with friends, in squad. 1 to 5 players, you can see your teammates through walls and you can see his life by looking the color of his tank. You can give supplies to your teammates too. To give to informations to your teammates you have north, west, south, and east with numbers between them to be the most precised.

 

Thats all for my game mode i know its not finished yet but ill update it slowly. Now i just hope devs will put it in Tanki Online !

I have a different idea for a battle royale gamemode:

 

 

 

     Since tanki is on a streak of adding new modes, I have an idea for yet another mode. Unlike the vast majority of modes (including the new assault mode and rugby mode), This mode is not team based and it's every tanker for themselves similar to DM mode. 

     At the beginning of a match, everyone spawns in the sky on a parachute similar to the ones that supply boxes drop from. They can control the parachute and land in whichever place they want on the map (so shafts would go to shaft camping places, firebirds would try to follow other tanks, etc) so basically everyone would go to wherever they want on the map, and once everyone ends, it's a battle for last person standing. When someone dies, they can spectate until the battle is over. I think that this mode would be fun to play with some friends or try on your own and I hope that the devs consider it. Thanks :)

It would be like a goldrain, except that the "Gold boxes" (which would not have Gold Box textures) would not give 1000 crystals, but would give 20 Exp and increase the battle fund. It would be Free For All just like DM mode, but the main goal would be to catch as many boxes as possible. If any player catches, say, 20 boxes, the battle automatically ends. You would receive Exp for kills but they would not increase your in-battle score, just like Premium/Beginner pass bonuses. This gamemode is for people who hate campers, as you cannot win by camping.

WAR as a new game mode

 

Hello Tanki online,

From the upcoming war i got and idea about a new mode in which the teams should protect their VIP.The VIP of the Red and Blue teams would be chosen randomly,the goal would be to collect Nuclear supplies that fall from the sky and try to kill opposite team VIP.If the match is going hot then the VIP would have an ability to lauch nuclear and thus end the game.

          The problem I have With Rugby is, Its not obviously stated which team has the ball (so you don't know whether to defend or attack), but in CTF, you will know if someone has skipped your base with your flag because you will get either a big message, or your flag is flashing, something like this on rugby will make it a whole lot more easier and enjoyable.

Will tanki fix this flag stuff the thing that was fun about CTF was that you could sneak around with the flag. NOW EVERYONE KNOWS EXACLY WHERE YOU ARE IT'S FLAT OUT AWFUL

I have another idea what if there was an object that you get and your team gets points for holding it and the enemy team tries to take it and when they get it they try and hold it until the other team tacks it back

This would be an entirely new gamemode. Not just asking crystal boxes to be returned. The problem was that people focused more on the boxes than gameplay. This gamemode would be all about the boxes anyway.

THROTTLED SERVERS to make it more FAIR. 

Or how about a server in the Los Angeles area. 

Or how about a filter that only allows people from my area so we all have the same handicap.

 

There is a country club in the forum, I did try to find local players, I think there

has been one reply so far, no one reads the country club thing...

 

How many players are on the USA west coast? I bet a LOT .

 

How about a server where all ping times are equal? A server that

throttles back all players to the slowest ping time player. 

 

I do not know the answer, all I know is I would be WAY more active and be

willing to spend a LOT more money if I knew it was a level playing field. 

Everytime I log on I do it almost unwillingly fore I know I will be slaughtered.

 

I have a SEVER handicap being on the west coast of the USA.

My ping time averages 172ms . That is a lifetime in MMO. I see tanks

turn away from me while I am still alive because they see me just get

killed. I get off shots before others but I die first. 

 

My KD ratio is absolutely horrible because of it. The only way I can

fight is from afar where unseen or I am DEAD. I get one-shot regularly.

I can't escape. I HATE having to play like a camper in snipe mode

whenever possible. 

 

I have tried everything. I have the dedicated Tanki Client, I shut off all other

processes on my box, I am hard wired to router,I am simply too far away

from the servers.

 

Tanki knows this, they even disclose it HERE. Scroll to the bottom and look at

the huge red ATTENTION warning box. 

 

It matters little if I upgrade. I have M2 hulls, M2 Turretts and my THUNDER

is fully Altered up. I press buttons and it takes forever to get a reaction on screen.

 

Hmm, writing that gave me an idea, how about making my weapons and

hulls faster to try to compensate? I think i would rather have equal ping times. 

 

 

PS, do NOT go by the ping time you see in game, go off your cmd prompt.
