Ideas for Game Modes!

Woah, woah, woah! Now, WHY was this merged!? Surely it's impossible that someone came up with the same idea!!

Ideas that fit into broad categories (Like ideas for game modes) are merged into one large topic to keep track of them.

Oddball


 


I have also asked it before but no one act apon it.


So I will describe again:


 


At the start skull or a ball will drop. When someone picks the ball timer of the player will start ticking upwards. At the end of the battle, Player with most score/time wins.


So in basic words you have to take the ball as much time possible.


Score:


1 second = 1 score


1 minute  = 60 score


It would be good for death-match but if you want it for team-deathmatch say team otherwise say no team.


 


And also it's your (Tanki developers) choice to add it for team-deathmatch or death-match.


 


I hope you will soon startt work on it...  :)   :)   :)   :)   :)

Please consider adding to regular MM selections a malee deathmatch mode where the only equipable turrets would be Freeze, Smoky, Firebird, Hammer, and Twins.

 

BP/XP deatchmatches also.

Another game mode idea? Huh, we need to nerf Thunder, Magnum and modules, not to make new game mode. There are lots of them.

 

This mode would be full of hardcore druggers because they are the only players who can survive more than 1 minute in DM. TDM version would be even worse because the player who takes the ball at beginning would camp for 10 minutes without risk and win it easily.

Yep, I can see that.

 

Map: Stadium......Battle Mode: TDM......Battle type: Oddball

 

Red team member grabs the ball and heads for the bleachers. Rest of red team follows. Blue team goes into the bleachers to fight for the ball. The entire battle happens in that one small area of the bleachers and the rest of the field is used for respawning. They'd have to make up a new map half the size of Polygon for this one.

the idea is making costume turrent and hulls maps like wasp fire titan thounder and all turrents and hulls

it will work like the game mods like parkour / xp / bp you will have 2 lists

1 turrents

2 hulls

options 

all / 1 turrent and hull you will want 

simple as that i wish you will accept that

The largest tank that has ever been built, is set on our destruction, A Juggernaut Crushing Obliterator! It specializes in powerful long-range strikes with its twin super-heavy artillery guns, it's most vulnerable at short range, at which it is only defended by a smaller escort tank team, take this "Obliterator" down 


 


Blue Team Objective: simply destroy the Super-Heavy Obliterator Tank


 


*radio message for the red team* 


simply, we have the most powerful, biggest, strongest, most deadly tank in the world, do everything to preserve it from enemy ground assault, its most vulnerable and short ranges, so your here to defend it at such a distance, but engage at will


 


Red Team Objective: get 100-150 kills, depending on the MMS system 


 


The Part You Have All Been Waiting For, Stats of the "Obliterator"


 


Size: 125m, which is slightly longer than 1/2 the main fort on Esplande Map


 


Turrets: very basically, 2 massive magnums, there shell's effect of hitting something, is that of a meteor gold, except it is 100% lethal, anywhere in the blast zone will kill you, and insane impact, but the only force of this is to throw dead tanks up in the air for fun, the twin turrets work like one, they work perfectly in sync, because of that, the turrets fire at the same time, so 2x the deadly effect, but the barrels will be a bit far apart in the distance between them, because they are essentially magnums, horizontal rotation is impossible, so players not familiar with magnum play, there will be sort of an "aim assister" or a digital "sight" which will help you determine where the shell will land, btw the reload is 10 seconds


 


Hull: as you realized, it's absolutely huge, except for the speed, which is that of a mammoth M0, same with handling, that of a mammoth M0, but the protection, I hav'nt decided, prob in the 10s of thousands, the appearance of this hull will resemble a titan if anything, a simple geometric hunk of tank, this hull will be able to have no overdrive, no supplies, no drones, collect no boxes, (except for gold :ph34r:)

I find an unending problem in CTF. Players seem to believe defense is the best offense. NO!!!

 

I suggest this in earnest, please add a banner to all Capture the Flag battles, "CTF = Attack Or Lose"

 

Defense cannot score. 1-0 is just as much a loss as 7-0, and a 7-6 is much more fun than defending only to have that one wasp slip through.

Hello, I would suggest that all players start playing together when the game starts. So when it start the game automatically , the two teams to have all the players ready then the games will start

Coin Grab mode

 

when the battle starts it will be a cp type team battle
but coins fall and they give your points  (500 to win) the coins will be dropped as such 
Yellow coin - 5 points
Blue coin - 25 points 
Red coin (Rare) 50 points
i dont think anyone else has this idea?

maybe?
also the coins give  you xp for collecting them and yes kills still give you XP
yellow coin - 2 XP
Blue coin - 10 XP 
Red coin - 17 XP
the picture would be a coin slightly rotated back and left 
it would be fun for a clan minigame too

King Of The Hill Mode

 

so you know how most maps have a spot that fits for a CP area? like future's middle bridge?
this mode is about that, its a dm cp basically and people need to be on it for 100 points to win, you gain seconds (Points) when nobody except for you is on the "CP king area"
every time you die you lose 2 points to make it harder and longer (real dm is almost never won to kill count reached so it is very similar)
also every 1 sec would be 2 xp

A new mode

 

I came up with a new mode. I call it invasion and here's how it works.

Instead of control points, there are generators that the red team will need to destroy. There are 5 of them on the map The blue team must defend the generators and kill the red team enemies. The red team must use their turret to destroy the generator.

The blue team will earn a point every time they kill an enemy and the red team will earn 20 points for every generator destroyed. Below will be notifications for the blue team when a generator is taking damage.

Generator Bravo is under attack.
Generator Alpha is under attack.
Generator Charlie is under attack.
Generator Omega is under attack.
Generator ONI is under attack.

Next I will show the nnotifications for when a generator is severely damaged.

Generator Bravo has received critical damage.

Generator Alpha has received critical damage.

Generator Charlie has received critical damage.

Generator Omega has recieved critical damage.

Generator ONI has received critical damage.

Finally, here's the notification for when generators are destroyed.

Generator Bravo has been destroyed.
Generator Alpha has been destroyed.
Generator Charlie has been destroyed.
Generator Omega has been destroyed.
Generator ONI has been destroyed.
