Ideas for Game Modes!

 In team deathmatch it would make sense to weight points/rewards not only according to amount of kills, but also amount of deaths.  This way the person that gets 20 kills but has 20 deaths gets less points than the person who gets 12 kills and 1 death.

I feel that would encourage camping too much.

Ranked Mode

 

Setting:

Map: Any Medium Map

Rank Limit: Warrant Officer 1 - Legend 

Mode: Deathmatch

Players: 5

Time Limit: 5 Minutes

Bonus Boxes and Smart Supplies: ON

Drone, Upgrades, Alterations, Weapon change, Overdrive: OFF

Protection Module: OFF

 

Pairing:

The pairing will be following a new concept called "Rating". Let's say someone has a rating of "1500", he can be paired with people of rating 1300 - 1700, but not someone with a rating of "500" or "2800". The pairing will NOT be following one's rank.

 

How does the mode work?

At the start of each game, the player will be asked to choose a combination of turret and hull that the player has in the garage. The combination will be upgraded to M3 just for that match, if the player has only M0/M1/M2. The game will continue normally until 5 minutes is up.

 

Rating:

The rating of the 5 people in the match will be averaged. If you get first place, the maximum rating you gain is 30. If you get second place, you do not gain/lose rating. The remaining 3 players will lose rating, and the amount one loses is determined by comparing their overall rating with the averaged rating. The maximum rating you can lose is 10.

If your rating is high, let's say "3000", you earn less rating for winning as compared to someone who has a rating is "0". However, if you lose at a high rating, the amount of rating deducted will be higher as compared to someone with a lower rating, to the point where you lose the same that you gain. (For example, you get 10 rating for getting first place, and 10 rating is deducted if you get 3rd, 4th, or 5th.) You will only start losing rating after a game when your overall rating is decently high, let's say "500".

 

Rewards:

You get crystals/containers for each rating bracket you are in.

Suggested Brackets: Top 10, Top 100, Top 400, Top 1000, Top 2000 and Top 5000

Every season, you land in a bracket, you get a special paint that shows that you have been in a certain bracket before. This paint will not disappear, and it will be changed to the paint for a higher bracket if you get into a higher bracket next season. The paint will only reflect the highest bracket you have reached before.

 

Why I want this mode to be implemented:

I have been playing Tanki Online for so many years already, and I did not get motivation and time for eSports. By adding this new mode, almost anyone can participate in something competitive. Right now, if you want to let people know that you are good at the game, what can you do? Have a high KDR? Getting top for all the games that you play? By adding this new mode, the rating is a number representation of how good you are, and everyone in the community is involved. A direct leader board at the front of the "Ratings" page and seasonal rewards can be good motivation for people to play Tanki Online, instead of purely grinding for stars and compete to be the Top 10 of the entire game.

Juggernaut

 

Hey, i have Idea, about Juggernaut mode, it's not popular in last months, so i decided, i can try, to give you some Ideas..

 

  1.  
  • Teams: 2 Juggenauts vs 10 Tanks (DM mode will be changed to TDM) 
  • Score: If 1 Juggenaut kill 1 tank, its like 1 kill, but if 1 tank kill 1 juggernaut it's like 3 kills 
  • Time: 7 minutes or 70 kills ( For example: If Juggernaut kill 40 tanks, but Tanks kill 42 Juggernauts, and time ends, Tanks is winners, but If Juggernauts kill 42 tanks and tanks kill 40 juggernauts, Juggernauts is winners. ) 
  • Maps: It's your decision.

  • Teams: Juggernauts VS Juggernauts. (DM mode) 
  • Score: 1 kill 1 point. 
  • Time: 7 minutes or 70 points
  • Maps: It's your decision!

This could be too hard to code, but they could do a format battle called handball, same throwing thing as rugby, and once your tank takes the ball you can't move your tracks. There could be a special turret that can't shoot, or it could be only meelee range turrets only. If it was in space mode you could have a really big net so the goalie has to jump to catch the ball... something like that. Or maybe just a pro-battle thing called a shootout where someone throws at a net and the goalie parkours to save it?

When we are playing Assault mode then in the right bottom where´s score shown should be seen how many flags are taken in the moment.

There would be shown 3 flags and inf there´s one taken, then it would be flashing one of them, if two are taken then two flags will be flashing and if three then three would be flashing.

If they wouldn´t be taken then they would be just normal.

i don't know if this some1 else said this idea but np

my suggestion is simple just add  round stabilization alteration to XPBP format requirements this way there won't be 3 shots and no more luck

A new mode called DELETION. I've been saying DELETE recently so here's the rules

 

Your tank will spawn in the standard MM map. There will be circles that every tank needs to go to. You're allowed to share circles if you want and you have 45 seconds to get to a circle. If you're lucky, you survive and get 100 crystals but if you're unlucky or if you don't get in a spot, your circle will turn red and you will be  DELETED instantly and then being sent back to the lobby. A cool strategy is to  kill those who try to get in the same circle as you. Basically last man standing so you gotta be fast, get a circle and only share the spot if you're generous enough. There will be a total of  6 rounds and the timer will go up instead of down. You better hope you don't get DELETED in this mode.

-simply putting 2 teams in a fight,but one of the teams has to destroy the enemy's base before the other.

Give juggernaut two different kinds of over drives.

 

There'll be two kinds: one is its initial overdrive, the other will be from the hull you currently have equipped.

Warning! Some may be increased effect while others will have a totally new mechanic.

You have been warned. :ph34r:

Wasp- the bomb doubles in size taking out everyone except the juggernaut of course.

Hornet- allows you to one shot even the most protected hulls in the battle, that includes the feared overdriven mammoth.

Hunter- pretty much the same as with hunter except that it'll massively damage anyone that gets too close to it.

Viking- same as with Viking but the delay for tap mode is completely removed and the lock on time for the salvos is cut down to .25 seconds, and the duration is tripled.

Dictator- pretty much the same as the future dictator overdrive.

Titan- the dome will go wherever you go and the healing is drastically increased and it can also damage close enemies about 150 points of damage per second.

Mammoth- same as with mammoth but one touch results in instant death and the power is increased by 1000% meaning it can easily push through swarms of tanks.

game mode called Point Collector

 

the same way juggernaut is DM but with a added feature

 

the game mode is DM and a ball will randomly spawn in the map like rugby

 

the point of the game is to hold on the ball the longest, each second you hold onto the ball gives you one point.

 

whoever holds the ball the longest by the time the game ends gets a larger sum of crystals from the battle fund

 

lets say the battle fund is 1,000. player1 got 20 kills and player2 got 20 kills which means they both get 500 crystals, but if player2 had the ball longer player1 would only get 450 crystals while player2 got 550 crystals.

 

if this has already been an idea i dont care as im not looking through 100+ pages

How about all overdrives in one?

We are trying to help a Juggernaut who is surrounded by all the other players to stay alive-and make some kills.

We don't want him to kill everyone!

Devs have something else planned for the near future that should help out Juggernaut.

This needs to come quick-whenever I am the Juggernaut I just get surrounded and destroyed.
