Ideas for Game Modes!

Hey

i was wondering if there can be a leave penalty in the game too many players are leaving the game stick with your team till it ends. Also can there be a rank mode where it's a draft and u pick your turret and hull and ban a turret and hull.  can there be a moba(like league of legends) mode in tanki where u pick your turret and hull and you buy items and u try to destory the other enemy base. lastly can there be a survival mode where u survive a wave of tanks and at the start of each round u buy upgrades.

 

I hope you consider my in game recommendations

And do you not think they have valid reasons to leave that particular battle?

It's a controversial topic in many games. On one hand, if you leave in a middle of a game the rest of the team is in a disadvantage. But on the other hand, as you said, people may have valid reasons to leave

What would be the best thing is to fix or improve MM, the more improved matchmaker is, the more reason player will have to stay in battle til it finishes.

Tanki Online, we know that in this game there are 2 major parts- MM and XP BP.

Some MM players might disagree this but let me ask this seriously- Did you see how many players are there in battle list playing XP BP? If not then see that. It's a other world thing for them.

Would be great if tanki added xp bp into match making such that there would be option to general or XP BP in each options of MM, CP, CTP, RUBY etc

This would, in a way unify the xp bp world with MM..You can see many players want to earn crystals via xp bp, not because it's an easy way but there is a unique fun in it..

I hope my suggestion really work out because I really want this to happen. For this to happen we need the support of every tanki players, be it MM or XP BP.

What you would like to see is aXP/BP being a new mode in MM. If this considered how do you think it will be like? Because MM battles are 8v8 and random maps. Are you willing to have Xp/BP with this setup? Even worse it could be only CTF, or random team mode.

For me it's more than a side dish. I used to play XP BP all time whenever I login to tanki. To me it was the best time of my game. Now a days there is no crystals earned from XP BP, moreover xp bp chat is removed.. I would like to see this side dish(in your opinion) to be merged to MM at some extent. This is for the sake of ingame unity and so that tanki xp bp players would as well play MM in xp bp format.

Everything new is weird and strange at first. Who could have guessed that juggernaut which was launched into update for first time would skyrocket it's reputation? Let's try new things and give fair chance to ideas like this. I love xp bp more than MM that's why I am here to support this idea. I am not saying it do MM in 8v8 only. Make a seperate platform for xp bp where you can go to modes such as duels, team duo, 6v6, 4v4 etc. At first whim merging xp bp with MM is really wierd, to me as well. Thanks for telling but still MM doesn't necessarily need to 8v8 always right?

I am saying that to fit MM you will have to follow the MM pattern, otherwise it is not MM. A separate platform is what pro battle is already, you don't need MM for that and what you propose is the exact same thing but with crystals back (nice try). If you are asking to merge it with MM, then it would require 8v8 and random maps, if not, then you do not understand what MM is all about.

Seperate platform for XP BP is already Pro battles? Want to earn crystals in xp bp? I am not reconciled and refuse to let xp bp be just a category in pro battles. Maybe the MM players would agree with you that MM is only about 8v8 and XP BP is just a pro battle. I disagree and refuse to let it be. My purpose is simply, let XP BP come in the form MM, which could hence avoid the crystal earning problem faced in pro battles. What I said is an easy way out for XP BP players, not to make the same change as earning crystals back in pro battles. I say, let there be no crystal earning in pro battles but atleast give face to xp bp players and make it a part of MM.

Everyone, I don't want XP BP to come to MM for only crystal earning purpose. It's only one reason out of many that I decided to make this article. It's not only wanting to do it for personal benefits, or personal wish, but I want it because TO will get the most benefit and morale rise as well. Although Xp Bp might not be the major part of game other than MM. But I've felt it consistently that XP BP has a group of hundreds of players playing in battle list(not once at a time). As a Xp Bp player, I don't want crystals back, I want the thrill of Xp Bp to become a part of MM.  Believe me or not, it will not bring harm to the game and instead make great change in it(possibly).

It's great. After sorting out balance adjustments, it would be fun to play. Much better than siege or rugby that are just extensions of the CTF and CP. You can have varied stratergies and many different roles to play.

Nice idea though, seems fun.

Although I can see that the programming behind that mode would be visibly more difficult than the other game types...

And also rugby is not necessarily an extension of ctf; it is quite a bit different actually.

Thats why I am suggesting an extension of ctf below.

If one manages to understand the rules well enough, I guess this'll be an excellent battle mode. The only problem with such extravagant battle modes is the rules. Otherwise, they are obviously super fun. You see, if there are too many ways to gain battle points, it can get quite confusing...

I personally love the idea, it's definitely interesting!

Another point is the 30 second waiting time for a few actions (when the team's teleportation device, or box-collector, has 3 boxes). I feel it is long. This could of course be modified, and be optimized later, in case this mode is considered, and tested!

Sounds interesting and provides diverse gameplay. A very different type of game mode which would be very fun and special. Nice idea : )

Though I’d say this should(if ?) be implemented, it should be after more needful updates are introduced to make the game more balanced.

I really don't think we'll have to work out such minute details...

The Devs will decide that...

Also, such a mode will undergo rigorous testing on test servers, especially when they're open to public, to find out the perfect time and other parameters...

However, the effort you put in this idea is commendable! ?

Here are two game mode ideas, so the first one would be called: Murder Mystery

So this is how it will work, so there will be an in game randomizer, and it would choose people based off chance and percentage, like the people who are innocents, the detective, and the murderer. The chance bars will show in the bottom, which are the detective and murderer chance statistics, which increase as you play, and decrease if you get picked for that category. So innocents can't damage, detective can damage, but if he kills an innocent, then he gets disqualified, and new detective will be chosen, if you are a murderer, you can of course damage, goal is to kill everyone, if detective is killed, then a innocent can pick up the detective status by going to the detective's place of death, and kill the murderer. Spectate function if you die in game, you can talk in game, everyone see's it if your alive, if you died, then you talk in the spectator chat, where dead players can communicate, but not to alive players. If you win as an innocent, it would show "You Survived!", if you win as a detective or murderer, it would be "You Win!". Devs, if you use this idea, I allow the fact that you could edit this, like add something, change something, or remove something, so this is idea one.

Second Game Mode: Kingdoms

So this is how this would work, so this would be similar to Juggernaut, but it's more of a organized chess kind of play, so the kings for both kingdoms are Juggernauts, there will be pawns, archers/snipers, knights, defense, and a healer. So in order for a game to start, the number of needed players must come online, an the battle will commence. So each player will have their rank chosen randomly and team chosen randomly, both teams should have 1 King/Juggernaut, 4 Pawns, 2 or 4 Archers/Snipers, 2 or 4 Knights, 2 Defenders, and 2 Healers, which makes between 13 to 17 players per team and about 26 to 34 players in total, which means big maps are required, the King would be on one side of the map, the opposing king on the other side, they have the option to stay where he spawned, or go fight in the battle field, one healer would heal the king, the other healer heals team members. Knights would fight on the battle field, and Defenders defend the king. Archers/Snipers would kill enemies from afar, and of course, they also have the choice of going to the battle field or staying put in their spot. Finally, the pawns can be used as extra defense, extra knight, extra archer/sniper, or can be used as bait (if the player agrees). The team who has got 10 king kills, or at least the most king kills, wins. Devs, if you use this idea, I allow the fact that you could edit this, like add something, change something, or remove something, so this is idea two.

And these are my ideas, I hope one of these get implemented!

What are the chances of a game mode with more than 2 teams being considered to be added in the game?

How would you do this?

MM needs more players for the general population - in all modes and all maps WITH supplies and drones and OverDrives.

If you have a separate category in MM for xp/bp then it defeats the entire purpose of MM.  Two streams of players for MM does not help existing battles player-base.  There might actually be less players in total for the non-xp/bp base as some switch over.

Do not see how this can possibly work.  You'd have to explain in much greater detail.
