Introduction

This game mode will be very unique, and like always, there are the blue team and the red team. The blue team transports precious cargo while the red team tries to delay/kill this process. It can only be played on medium-large maps with relatively open areas. There will also be 1 additional building to indicate where the blue team needs to transport.

Mechanics

Different cargo have different price and health. There are diamond, beskar, rhydonium, vibranium, and gold.

Diamond   Price: 1000? Health: 2000hp

Beskar   Price: 5000? Health: 3000hp

Rhydonium Price: 2000? Health: 100hp

Vibranium  Price: 1500? Health: 2500hp

Gold   Price: 750? Health: 1000hp

The XP system works in this way. For the blue team it is earned by transporting cargo successfully. The XP the player(s) earn is divided by the number of them that supported the transport, the dividend is the health. Players also earn crystals by dividing the price of the delivered item. For the red team, each cargo container destroyed gives all the contributors the XP equal to their total shot damage to the container /4. Both teams will also earn XP by killing enemies, of course.

There are some other mechanics not mentioned. To latch yourself on a container, press "f", the speed of the container depends on the power of your hull and the number of people pulling it. Thus, it's advisable to use light hulls. For the sake of simplicity, assume the amounts of the elements are different and the weight is the same. If the power is 1000, the container will travel at 5 mph. In the beginning of the game, the container is located at the center of the map, this is also where it will continue to spawn when they are delivered/destroyed.

"Battle Royale" or whatever you guys want to call it, So how is this going to work is that a certain amount of players spawn depending on the map capacity, it has to be a huge map of course like madness for example, but I recommend creating a specific map for this mode so the game won't end quickly. Players will spawn as an equal modification, and there will be boxes spawning randomly around the map every 40 seconds that give you maybe +5 micro-upgrades on your turret or hull. There will be no supplies, no protection, no overdrives, and if the player gets damaged by another player his health will automatically regenerate maybe 10-15 seconds after the action. The last one standing will get a reward and maybe find a way to narrow down the players on the field to prevent campers. There will be no respawning after you get destroyed, so you will have to spectate or leave the game.

Cool Map idea!

  • Do you have a name for this new kind of battle mode?
  • It's like Death match, but we have nothing except our combination that we're using right?
  • It can be any combo, but it will have equal GS for everyone?
    • So will the default be 9999 GS for all?
    • Or will the GS be equal to the lowest a player has?
  • Do you have an idea of what rewards we will get in this kind of mode?
    • Because it is a Battle Royale, and only one person can win, and that person worked hard to defeat everyone, could 10,000 Crystals be a good reward? What other kinds of rewards could there be for this mode?

It would take time to make all those new kind of drop boxes, giving different unique modifications and advantages, but still, very creative idea @Hizock.

This looks like a fun mode, but it does feel hard to deliver the cargo.

I would love for us to get a visual, if able, for everyone to see.

It can make it better for developers too, if they are looking for new modes, like this.

Maybe "Clash of tanks" is a perfect name for this game mode.

 

Yes, it's like a deathmatch, but also can be played as duos just like every battle royale game. All players will have the same hull and turret that is going to be picked randomly each game.

 

 It will be Mk7 for everyone, and they can even improve it by getting a dropping box that buffs their turret or hull by 35%. If your teammate gets the dropping box, it is going to affect your tank as well. For each kill, you will get buffs for your tank by 15%.

 

For this specific game mode, the health of your tank is going to be doubled, so that you don't get destroyed easily.

 

For the reward system, I think maybe adding a container that depends on this game mode would be such a great idea, you will need for example 3 wins to be able to unlock 1 container, and every win will get you additional 2500 crystals. Those players who didn't win can be rewarded depending on how many kills they get, maybe one kill = 100 crystals, and for duos, you will get the same reward as your teammate.

 

 I know this would need a lot of work, but it will be worth it.

Considering the fact that Supplies will be deactivated, a bunch of Drones will probably be rendered useless.

And Protection Modules are disabled too......



So technically, if turret Alterations and hull Augments are not included, the maximum GS everyone will have is 8000.

If they are included, the GS will be 8200.

So my idea is similar to Galactic assault for example for Star Wars Battlefront 2. Both teams are trying to capture teritory, 1 team is defending, the other is attacking. All players start out with standard tanks (IDK what, maybe you can have a "light" with Hornet and Firebird, a "medium" with Viking Thunder and a "heavy" with Gauss Titan. No supplies allowed or augments allowed, but you can use your OD. You get battle points (as in SWBF2) for killing enemies with which you can progressively use better (but still standardized) gear. Ideally, in a really, REALLY large series of new maps. I realize that not using custom equipment might diminish the interest of developers in this, so maybe they can make it so that you earn crystals at a slower rate (or maybe even none at all)?

Not sure if this'll be rejected. Just that I enjoyed the concept in Star wars battlefront 2, and this might be a great way to add newer, larger maps, maybe create some cool Tanki lore.

Will There be a storm Mechanism

and will there be a Gulag mechanism like we saw in warzone where if you die you can fight for another chance to respawn and the person who defeats the tank in the gulag gets to be redeployed

Repost from 2 other sources. Other gamemode suggestions follow below:

Ranked Gamemode (locked behind rankwall, decided by tanki staff)

The Ranked Gamemode would be a 5v5, TDM/CTF/CP, where you could pick any combo of any turret+hull. Every turret/hull is forced by the game to be Mk1, no microupgrades, no mk1-mk7 upgrades, only default tanks.

Features for the gamemode to be as skillbased as possible:
Idea 1: supplies are disabled.
Idea 2: infinite supplies with a larger cooldown, forcing players to use supplies very carefully to work together and win, removing the P2W aspect.
Idea 3: limited amount of supplies during the entire game with default cooldowns, for example: everyone starts with 3 repairkits, 9 armor, 9 damage, 9 speed and 9 mines, and when you have used the set amount, you cant use any more. You always refill before a new game, also removing the P2W aspect (this is separate from normal supplies, the entire ranked gamemode is separate to normal MM).

Drones are disabled. Protection is disabled. Augments are disabled. Skins/Paints are allowed.

A ranked game would be longer than a normal MM game. In non symmetrical maps, such as Serpuhov, teams would switch sides at halvtime to balance the game.

It is not allowed to leave a ranked game. If a player leaves a ranked match, the player will recieve a cooldown depending on how many times they left the game.

Players wouldn't be awarded crystals or starts, only 25% of the XP they would earn from MM. This is so that tanki doesn't lose money and so people cant use ranked mode to get better equipment for MM.
 

If you win a match, you get higher ELO. High ELO players get matched with other high ELO players, lower ELO players get matched with other low ELO players. You could name the ranks whatever you want, like some tanki related rank names :)

 

Some combinations will require balancing ONLY for the ranked mode. For example, a smoky+hunter will have a very difficult time trying to 1v1 a railgun+dictator. Therefor you could make the smoky stronger, and try to balance all combos, so people could play with any combo they want without worrying about it being too bad, and maybe even switching every game for fun.

If you like my idea, please make this heard to the tanki online team! I really hope this mode would be added, because I think it will bring lots of players bak to tanki, and be a lot of fun for veterans aswell. I also really hope that this wont be too damaging to their economy, so they maybe consider adding it. Have a good day :)

yeah... but it wouldn't be too complicated. It is going to be in duos only, lets just say your teammate gets destroyed there will be maybe 40 seconds timer for him to respawn again, and if you died before the timer ends, you and your teammate are going to be eliminated, and you won't be able to respawn again. @juniorgamer268

and for the storm mechanism, just a zone closing in every minute or something

A mode like this does not make any money for the Devs, and it subtract players from MM battles. The Staff already hates Pro Battles, so any game mode similar to that one will never exist.

I would love a ranked mode, and it really is one of the (many) things Tanki is needing imo. It should only be unlocked once you reach the Legend rank tho, so that rank has an actual purpose (would be similar to LoL then, since you can play rankeds only at lvl 30+). Right now you just grind up to the Legend rank, and then... there's nothing.

Ranked matches would make the game way more competitive, which is surely a very welcomed thing by many. I personally would love a ranked XP/BP :wub:

There could be rewards at the end of each battle, but more important would be rewards for the reached rank at the end of each season!

Tanki isn't a PUBG or Fortnite that everyone is equaled to another and balanced 100%. Nope Tanki is a progress game, you have to rank up and gather more crystals to upgrade your equipment. So this is why we play and ranking up every time. If Tanki was balanced 100% and everyone is equal to another the game will be sucks with no fun, and I don't think I will complete many years playing as the play will be meaningless.  We all start weak and grew up to the higher ranks to be an average-strong players.

Also you talked about skills while you haven't mentioned disabling Overdrives, while they're the most game-breaker happened in Tanki ever.

For me I couldn't play a battle without supplies activation, the game is too slow and cold without them.. Look at Pro-battles with no-supplies, they last forever to end they're grinding of time.. Supplies are no-more a character for buyers, now every f2p player can get a decent amount of them.. And if you play regularly and using your supplies from containers and weekly containers you can get the amount that is enough for you to use them in the rest of the week.

Also you said we all play with Mk1 equipment, really !!!! Mk1 is a really sucks??

Very interesting game mode.

This can be a very unique kind of battle.

I hope to see this in the future if developers find it fun, as well!

As Cruelty mentioned, we would want to earn Crystals in this battle, or else not many tankers will play the mode.

Also, you said the map is big?

If it is, then it would take a longer time to get points because we need to find each enemy in each huge map.

It would not let tankers get a lot of Battle Score, getting them less rewards, and not playing that much.

 

But new maps are pretty cool to have.

More variety of battle playing styles!

Well I imagine the players who want a change of pace. In this setting, games would be about skill (so no drones or OP augments to help you win), would not require you to own anything upgraded (since you are using in match battle points to "purchase" your equipment) and it would be vastly different and longer than regular matches. Adding an element of story of some kind would perhaps make it even more interesting.

Yeah, not stupidly huge, but larger than what we have now, with maybe updated textures and such to really make it immersive.

beautiful old madness with a long floor its bigger and not fall into a hole and the team is better share more guys my idea is good and i not really its not accept or not do but im really think its funnest ever for old gamers in tanki online and i love very old madness im so stuppid cause players love old madness and i again
