Ideas for Game Modes!

If you suggest that captured teammates will be force-paused, then it's a problem. No player should be forced to stop playing and rely on teammates to get them back into the game - MM doesn't work like that.

My own take on this idea is that, once killed, a player from team 1 physically switches to team 2 and continues playing, now against team 1. Now that the remaining players in team 1 are outnumbered, they gain a boost to their stats, such as higher damage, fire rate and armour. If team 2 kills another player, team 1 gets another boost to their already boosted stats. That way even if, in a game that started as 8v8,there is just one guy left vs 15 players, this one guy will be able to turn the game around due to his boosted tank stats.

As for scoring, you would get the usual score for kills, but you would also get 2-5 bonus points every time your teammate gets killed and you outlive them. That way you get rewarded for staying on your team the longest.

The only remaining problem is groups. Should we expect a player to flight against his friends if he gets killed and switches to the enemy team?

hostages do not freeze. they have free will , they cant destroy the team which has captured them

 

it wont be out numbered due to what ever a hostage does not count

So what do they do then? Just drive around aimlessly?

they go to their original base and let them self get destroyed by their own teammates to return .

to make it easy for players to understand this game mode i suggest an indication between the hostage from your team , captured by the enemy team and the hostage captured by you and your teammates , from the enemy team.  What i mean by " indication " :

turquoise color for a hostage captured by the blue team , from the red team.

orange color for a hostage captured by the red team , from the blue team.

That just sounds like normal TDM respawning with extra steps...

yes  

but it challenges players because you have to retrieve your teammates if captured , capture hostages from the enemy team , and try your best not get captured or else you'll be wasting time being a hostage and what ever you do won't count.

EVERY EVENT  Tanki online always has to refer to  ( solo ) Juggernaut , Death match , including increased goldbox rate . it gets boring at times. i don't blame tanki online , because they have nothing else  to refer to when it comes to events .

the idea i'm gonna mention is a kind of an interesting idea which will make events more interesting .

 

what do i mean by gun game  ...    description below  :

 

by the way this event game mode is solo.

every player starts  on level 1 , phase 1 . every phase is a selection of a specific equipment ,    each level is an upgrade of that specific equipment . what i mean by " upgrade " :

what makes this game mode interesting is that you get to try out ; 

                                                                       augments 

                                                                       skins

                                                                       shot effect 

 each level you receive things you've never tried before , but not all due to there's 3 to 5 level per phase ( a new selection of equipment's ) starting of with the weakest hull and turret to the strongest. forgot to mention that every kill, you will proceed to the next level and also every time every time you get destroyed , you drop a level

So like gun game? I kinda like the idea, however, there are no really specific weak and strong equipments in tanki online, so I guess you could just get different types if equipment eaxh time.

I suggest you to add a new mode tdm that everyone is JGR (no drone, no protection, especially armadillo)

We already have this, but with rugby mode. I don't think that it's very exciting, but would be much more boring without an objective, as Spy said.

Deathmatch was removed from matchmaking for a clear reason that I am not bothered to explain; reintroducing it with defaultly selected identical equipment will not make it more exciting. If I want to play monotone gamemodes then I'll either wait for special events or join a PRO-battle

Same duration as other modes. (Maybe a little more like 10 minutes). No Overdrives. No Supplies except Mines, and the Supplies that fall on the field. No Drones. No Augments, except the ones in this Mode. (There is no self damage.)

 

The players are determined by the Map size.

There will be 2 Teams: Survivors and Zombie Tanks

  • The Survivors will have a Medium Hull (We can maybe have Heavy Hulls, but they can get defeat because they are slow.) We can have melee/ short ranged Turret to use during our Zombie.
    • This way, with a melee/short range turret, we have to come close to a zombie before doing damage to them instead of attacking from far away, making it fair.
      • Vulcan cannot burn itself after using all of its charge. When it gets to zero, Vulcan simply stops shooting until it reloads more, just like Ricochet, Hammer, and other Short/Melee Ranged Turrets.
    • Since Survivors need to survive, to make it fair, we get a medium Hull. But we are slower than the Zombies, so we need to think of a way to attack and defend ourselves.
  • The Zombie Tanks will have Isida and Hornet (Light Hull) equipped.
    • Isida will have the Vampire Augment, and will be able to get Hit-Points (HP) while attack the Survivors
    • Hornet is used because it has an unstable maneuverability, good speed to catch a Survivor and can 2000 HP at max level.
    • Or we can use Viking for the Zombie Hull.
    • Zombie Tanks can wear the Zombie Paint to stand out more.
  • The combination of Medium Hull and Melee/Short range turret is randomly selected for Survivors.
  • Zombie Tanks always have Isida, Hornet, and the Zombie Paint combination.
  • Where there are more and more Zombies, they can have lesser HP, for more balance.

 

Zombies can have another special ability, called Poison. This Status Effect can Poison tanks for a certain amount of time, but it won't do too much damage.

Survivors can have 5000 HP at the start of the game and Zombie Tanks can have 2500 HP

The Zombie War Mode will start off with 2 or 3 Tanks who become Zombie Tanks first. We then hide and try to defeat the zombie Tanks with our skills and tactics. We can place our own Mines, but we need to catch Repair Kits and other supplies that fall from the sky. Once a Survivor is defeated, they turn into a Zombie Tank to continue the invasion in the game mode. Once the time is up, the Survivors get bonus Points while the Zombies get points for killing Survivors and some for killing zombies.

If you are a Zombie from the start of the game and are defeated, you re-spawn and can make more kills. We need to survive for the entire Mode (or 10 minutes if we have it for this mode). If there are 0 Survivors before time runs out, then the Zombie Tanks win, but they get less rewards evenly distributed. If there is one survivor at the end, he can get a lot of rewards, etc.

 

 

The Developers can change up and improve things in this idea to make it even better.

Hope we can get a Mode like this.

I disagree regarding PRO battles.

Quite interesting, but there are two problems: 

1. Devs said they don't want more modes in one of the Q&A, except bomb-cart

2. You can get free rewards without using your own equipment and supplies.

However, as an event mode, i'd like to see this.

As long as its not in MM, last thing we need is more game modes that'll split up the player base even further causing even larger rank gaps and more waiting time, resulting in more unbalanced battles.

Oh wow, that's all true. Thanks for pointing this out. 

I did put in we can use Mines to defend, but I guess we should be using other items too, instead of getting free rewards in this mode.

I hope Developers can add this kind of mode in the future.

I think this game need to add a new gamemode!! The gamemode system is "Practice". It's simple for play. Just practicing aim and fight bots and etc...
