Ideas for Game Modes!

Winner Takes All (WTA)

I was thinking of a game where players actually pool together their crystals and the winner takes all. It will be a DM game, but the crystals will be coming from the players, and not from the system, and has no impact or increases the players experience levels. It is basically a form of gambling within the game.

Rules:

1/ A big red warning box will be shown to any player joining this type of game will be put on notice that they must have a very reliable internet connection and that any droppages of connection is at the players risk and any crystals pooled by that player will not be refunded.

2/ There must be a minimum of 5 players and maximum of 10 players

3/ All players put in the same determined amount of crystals (see ranking limits rule 11)

4/ Personal power-ups (drugs) are disabled, but only power-ups that have been dropped within the game can be used

5/ Player ranks are limited between 3 levels

6/ Any game terrain is available and also that is only with the current levels that is available to their level

7/ Players scoring will be the altered to take into consideration of ranks, so a lower level player gets 11 points, a middle level player gets 10 points, and the higher level player gets 9. This is enable some sort of fairness, as some higher level players may have extra upgrades to their relevant tanks/turrnets and paints.

8/ This rule is regarding the actions of a player whom drops out of play (whether deliberate or accidental), also to prevent "tanking" a game result.

a ) If any player happens to drops out of the game, the funds from this player is then forfeited (see rule 1) and is kept into the pool for distribution.

b ) If the game has passed through 80% of the time allowed, and if the current leader of the game has more the 65% of the total score points declared within the game, he is then declared the winner, thus the game is closed and the pooled funds is then distributed.

c ) If the the game is passed the 80% point of the game, and there is no clear winner, the game continues as is until the time is up.

d ) If the game has not passed 80% of the time allowed, then the entire game is forfeited, and current players are refunded their pooled amount only.

9/ Pausing the game and entering the Garage will be disabled.

10/ If any player is found to be "tanking" or has a bad record of not being at the finale of the game when the winner is declared, then they lose all permissions to enter in the WTA game format for a said period (depending on the offence)

11/ Betting Limits - These will be imposed on your ranking class with Sergant Class being the lowest entry class.

Sergeant to Sergeant Major - 100 / 500

Warrant Officer Levels 1 to 5 - 100 / 500 / 1,000 / 2,500

Third Lieutentant to Colonel - 100 / 500 / 1,000 / 2,500 / 5,000 / 10,000

Brigadier to Generalissimo - 100 / 500 / 1,000 / 2,500 / 5,000 / 10,000 / 25,000 / 50,000

12/ Any player found to tampering with other players by any illegal activity (such as interupting other players internet connections, hacking computer and other such means) are banned indefinately.

Hundreds of people have already suggested this -_- Tanki dosent accept it since people would camp till the last few people, this Idea is practicaly the same as Hardcore, Last Man Standing, and 1 life games

SDT- Sudden Death Tournament

This wouldn't be a normal game mode, but I couldn't find "suggestions for new contests"

It would be a Cybersport forum driven no clan required event like the tandem tournaments, and could be run once monthly (or per season if 12 a year is too hard). The parameters are as follows.

Registration would be announced on the tanki home page. [shouldn't be too hard with the current design]

3 sets of ranks ,(mostly m1, mostly m2, and mostly m3 up to Generalissimo) would be allowed to sign up in their own separate "divisions".

100 people could sign up in each division before the registration topic would be closed and the names put in the tanki randomizer. [25 more players can be added to each following tournament provided the previous tournament had reached full registration, (and the organizers can handle it) ] [alternatively, you could base it off of powers of 4, but that might get huge fast]

The players of each division will be split into groups of 4 by the tanki randomizer.

Each group of 4 will be simultaneously put into the 4 corners of a large map with heavy cover in Sudden Death Mode. This would be like a DM free-for-all mode, but there would be no respawns. [i hope the devs don't find this hard]

The last player alive will proceed to the next stage, where he will be again placed into a group of 4, [if you have an odd group of players they would fight 3 or 2 free for all, but 1 left over would just get a bye for that stage, (you could make sure that you rotated who was getting the byes)]

You would proceed with this dividing of players until you reached the final group, where you could either keep it the same or put extra factors on the battle , (maybe giving everyone equal equipment or switching it to normal DM to prevent a "pure luck" winner)

The WINNER would receive a special paint to keep until the next tournament, (gladiator would be a perfect name, but I think it's taken, maybe survivor instead) and a significant amount of crystals, (maybe 50k-100k). [all rewards can be adjusted as tanki sees fit]
The next 16 places would receive 25k for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 20k for 5th, 6th, 7th,and 8th, 15k for 9th-12th, and 10k for 13th-16th

You could either require/provide a certain equipment for the length of the tournament, (probably XP), or let players of each division bring their own equipment, but only letting them change in between battles.

If I have forgotten anything please point it out, I will do my best to update this idea.

As everyone knows, wasp/hornet and firebird is the best way to earn experience and to raise funds, and most matches are spoiled , and spoliers which come from untrusted friends mostly  say... " hhhh there is no format of wasp fire .. so get lost...."

So i think there  should be a new format of battles called , "hornet/wasp fire " or name them anything like "W/F"

Yeah it became pretty popular especially when double funds come in the game. There is no normal gameplay because always someone comes with other combination and ruins everything. You have my vote man +1.

I'ts an entire clan battle on a huge map where it's so big we can have capture points, which, when we capture it, we get to respawn there. It also has a CTF mode where another part to see who wins is capturing of flags to a base, which is where both teams start, then, another factor is the the TDM mode. About a 100 players for each team plus 50 allies so Red Green Blue and Yellow all battle it out. The battle fund will be really high.

Hi I have Complain about Friendly Fire in Pro Battle Mood (I didn't know whether this is fixed, because i didn't play a pro for few weeks)

In Friendly Fire mood, I saw some Players who kill for score, In CTF some players kill the flag carrier and take flags to obtain score.

Most of players back fire to defend themselves and it turns the Game to a Death Match. But for Isida the condition is too Bad, Isida cannot harm his team mates So they are defend-less.

I suggest there should be some Reduction of Score for Killing Teammate.

I think TO is missing a trick here. The current choices are fighting (DM), fighting (TDM), fighting (CTF), fighting (CP) or parkour - which seems to be mostly about climbing up on things.

Frankly, I get tired of fighting, and there's not much else to do.

There are two potential alternatives;

Racing: Initially, that's just a case of creating a suitable map with a start/finish line

and a starting gun, and seeing if it gets used. You could ask users to create maps.

Training: A timed obstacle course with stationary and/or moving targets and/or live-firing targets. (Think "Dirty Harry" - live-fire training competiton.)

Both of those could introduce some new competitive spirit into the game, and have

potential for a "Highest Scores" board.

Live firing targets are AI which means developers will not include training.

Live-firing was only 1/3 rd of that part. Even if it's only stationary targets, I think it has potential. Perhaps such a place would be more suitable for daily missions, rather than messing up other people's games, or having to negotiate terms with others.
