Ideas for Game Modes!

Tanki has a lot of good ideas. I love where the graphics are going. The invasion mode sounds like it'll be wicked but the game is so seriously unbalanced that I have lost interest in playing. If I ever log in again, it will probably be one of the last times. It's INSANE that so many players 2 and 3 ranks below me can kill me with a single shot in an M2 Viking but I have to shoot them full power shaft 2 or 3 times to kill them. I can expect that from people who out rank me 2 or 3 ranks but people way below me?  I wasted probably $200 on this game. I'd need $200 a week to keep up with those kinds of upgrades. Every day I don't spend I get farther behind. On top of that they buy supplies by the hundreds and drug and drug. I might as well not even waste my time since I cannot afford to buy supplies at the rate they do and I cannot make up for it with skill. I'm a good tanker. I play every day. I'd happily put $20-40 a month into the game. I cannot afford that really, but if nobody paid there would be no game. But I don't have hundreds of dollars to throw in and there is no way to get better. It doesn't matter how many times I shoot them, they just need to hit me once and I'm dead. Doesn't matter what turret they use any more. I'll admit my M2 is new, but who has the crystals to upgrade much? Takes me 2 to 3 days, to do an upgrade below 15. 15-20 I'm lucky to get an upgrade a week. Above 20 forget it, only time I can do those is when I advance a rank. Then I have to pick between hull or turret. I can't upgrade both. It's 10k of crystals to upgrade anything now. Thats a week or more of crystals to make ONE upgrade. The people I am playing against are doing upgrades every day apparently.  It's VERY frustrating to try to find a game where I am not badly outclassed any more in hull and turret.

I think some kind of competetive parkour mode would be fun. It could work something like this: There is a point somewhere hard to reach (on a roof or something similar), then 2 teams compete to get one of their members to the point before the other team does. Teams would have to balance efforts between doing the parkour, and sabotaging the other team (by destroying them). I am aware that this mode isn't for people not into parkour, but I would really like to see it.

I hope your not offended or anything, but you should really be getting a better k/d and item with $200 a week....your exaturating alot or you just suck at this and its not your kind of game. I know plenty of players at your rank and high who dont spend money and atill do fine. You seem to be a sniper, so thats also you downfall. Snipers are not versitile. And dont mu all your items either..... thts a complte waste ever since the mu update. And the only hull you have is m2 viking? Not the best choice. Use hunter or hornet cause those are much more versitile. If you get 1 shot with viking then you might as well get something faster. Also, only shaft and rail can 1 shot you viking, and i doubt those are the only turrets you fight. If they are, then you have an advantage cause they are not very versitile either. Get a camobpaint and small hull then go into a night time map. Sneak up on them and know off their aim. I also noticed you seem to ussally be useing speed boosts when drugging. Thats not the best choice. Use armor or damage. And seriously, if you spend $200 a week then you will be that op guy everyone hates. Almost inpossible to lose with that kind of money. $100 gives an insane amount of crystals already, so you should have every item availible at your rank. I legitimatly have no clue how you are an insane buyer but you dont rek everyone.

Also, i dont beleive you that you spend that much or even half because when you spend loads of money on cry you get free premium for a little bit. $100 give a full week of premium. You exadurated alot or you lie because you dont like druggers. Again, dont take any offence from this, im jut pointing out the holes in your story.

 

Deal with it.

I'm thinking of Hide and Seek. The battle can be 15, 30 or 60 minutes long. During the first five minutes, players can choose to be a hider or seeker (there will also be auto-balance) and while they're waiting, they are playing in a normal Deathmatch.

 

When 5 minutes have passed, all players are teleported to a random location. The seekers are blinded and cannot move for 30 seconds. The seekers get Wasp and they can choose Isida, Firebird or Hammer (not Freeze for slowing advantages). The hiders can move where ever they want and get Wasp and Hammer. The Hammer will have more punch than normal but deal less damage to the seekers. You can't use supplies and supply boxes will not fall from the sky.

 

If a hider stays still for 10 seconds they will become very faint and makes it hard for the seekers to find them. If the hider moves or shoots their turret, they will become visible again. The hiders can also spin their turret without becoming visible again. The game ends when all seekers are destroyed or the time limit ends.

 

Depending on what ranks people are, the prizes will change. Surviving hiders that are Master Sergeant to Warrant Officer 5 will receive 250-300 crystals, 3rd Lieutenant to Colonel will receive 500-750 crystals and Brigadier to Generalissimo will receive 1,000-1,500 crystals.

 

Seekers from Master Sergeant to Warrant Officer 5 will receive 100 crystals per tank they destroy, 3rd Lieutenant to Colonel will receive 200 crystals per tank they destroy and Brigadier to Generalissimo will receive 300 crystals per tank they destroy.

 

And to prevent people from playing it too much and throwing the economy of balance, you would have to purchase a pass like a PRO Battle Pass to enter. The pass would be 5,000 crystals for one month like a PRO Battle Pass.

 

(I posted this almost a year ago and I didn't really have an idea of how the crystals were going to be given out. Also thank you MrCheezyPotato for pointing out a few things that would make the game better)

I'm thinking of hide and seek. The player chooses to be a hider or seeker, the battle is 15 min long. 1. WHAT? No crystals? Who would end up doing this then? I loved the idea conpletly until you said no crystals. Id say have it so however long you survive as hider give you a bit of crystals, killing a seeker gives some crystals, and being visible for long periods of time gives some crystals. The entire thing would give roughly the same amount as an average battle.

 

2. Seekers need more than isida. They can use isida, firebird, freeze, and hammer. All short range and most people have at least one of those that is nicely upgraded.

 

3. Hiders can hurt seekers. They can also use the same weapons as seekers. Again, all short range and most people have at least one of these.

 

4. Seekers get some crystals for kills and hiders found.

 

5. There is one seeker chosen randomly at begining of rounds and every time a hider is killed it goes to the seekers team.

 

6. Seekers have 2 times as much health as normal and Hiders have twice as much speed. When either of those teams use a drug that coencides with their buff, it doubles the stat that their hull NORMALLY has. Example: Hornet m0 with 100 hull is a seeker so it has 200 hull. When it used double armor it ends up with 300, not 400.

Would really love a Hide & Seek or Tag gamemode.

 

Something fun that doesn't involve killing.

Kinda defeats the purpose of tanks with giant turrets on them.......could add a tag mode but it coyld be that the tagger has to destroy someone else.

I would just hide with my wasp :) i would be immortal actualy.

Its already hard to kill if i get nitross what is only 20% speed. Whats about +200%? WOAH! I would love it!

Single rail shot would be like 3 rail shots? 1hit to group of 4 hornets and last hornet will be on 50%hp :D

 

actualy, only good idea in this whole topic! I would like to play it non-stop.

 

There i wont be on top all time like im in this new xmass map...

I kinda wish speed boost did 200%....that woupd be awsome....or.....500% 0.0 pick mammy and charge the flag with it XD

I hate team mammys! In xmass map when mammy got flag i realy push him to death to save flag or just switch teams to kill that mammy. Its taking like half battle to mammy to die near enemy base, becoz its too slow for deleviring the flag. Enemys gain 20 points at least when mammy will gain only 10. I hate that hull.

Even wasp is too slow for me without speedboost.

Its not that bad....the other team will not gain 20 pts by the time mammy reaches base if it goes in a direct path.....they may gain 5 or so but the mammy still helps

How this mamy will reach it? Most turrets will aim on it and using mamy wont help ignoring enemys like im doing most of the time with wasp when delivering the flag. They cannot even see me. But mammy? Fat guy dies near cap point!

i have an idea i know its :D  :P but works well

 

my idea is:

 

1.make a  STT (save the tanker ) mode

2.the blue team will defend a tanker with a ballon in his turret

3. When the red team will attack the tanker who have ballon

4.if a tanker lose the ballon means 1 point to red team 

5.if the tanker saved the ballon for 1 min means 1 point to blue lol

Thats way too hard.....just simplify it and make it so whenever red kills the tank they get 5 points, and whenever they dont for 2.5 min blue gets 5 pts

The next game mode will be something lame+unbalanced like the new giggy asult what ever mode...

ASL mode is just for the holidays, so the devs did not really bother to think through everything about it. Plus, its a new game mode so many people will like it for a bit because of that.

ASL mode is only  for the holidays. How about keeping it? 

Its a bit unfair tho because the blue team's score rises very slow =/

No...blue generally wins when i play

Tanki developers please let the assault mode stay even after new year celebrations are over. Instead of having a Christmas tree in the centre, you can replace it with a simple thin tall building or a cool looking tower. U can then also make the map a daytime only map and rename the map Kremlin.

But pls pls pls let assault mode stay... Also add 6 new achievements in the ratings section. Earning experience in assault mode will unlock these achievements. Pls let assault mode stay!! Guys who all are with me? U can also design daily missions with regular difficulty and reward level.

Assault is a very nice game mode. Guys if u like assault mode too just up vote my post and also request for assault mode to stay

I suggest u play XP/BP in RU1. I spent some time saving for XP/BP equipment but that's what I now play most of the time. I find XP/BP battles to be extremely balanced. Everyone is on equal footing ( more or less). I agree that XP/BP requires a decent amount of skill. But what I like about XP/BP is that whether u are a generalissimo or a major, it doesn't matter. You can always win ( or lose) there is no guarantee as most battles don't have a time limit. Moreover since most of them have supplies and bonus boxes off the battle fund increases very fast and therefore golds also drop frequently there. Upgrades are also not counted in XP/BP therefore making it even more fair Edited by VaudeVille
