The ability to boost an OD (which is already potent) by spending more crystals will add yet another layer of P2W.

Average Joe will not be able to do this AND buy MUs for items like modules or turret or hull.  Buyers can do ALL of the above.

So giving buyers another method (even if only 25% or even 10%) of getting advantage widens the power gap even more.

"Clever" is not the word. Any kind of a buff to something, that is already hanging at the edge of a cliff and rocking about the point of balance, would send it right down into to the valley of chaos. 

The only way for this to be clever would be an alteration of OD characteristics, and not a straightforward buff. Such as 30% damage nerf to Wasp's Nuke to balance out a 10% increase in radius. (The values may change but would still be this way 'cuz a 10% damage decrease won't affect it much, it would still kill everyone in the radius).

But, the thing is, drones aren't meant to provide alterations but actual buffs, which is certainly not needed in this case.

So basically, the idea is good, but only the title is wrong: not a new drone, but a hull alteration.

Hi tanki online community my idea might be declined but it would be cool to have a trading system in the game , lets say that i have 30k DD or any supply i would have the option to trade some DD for repair kit lets say , then if someone needs DD he could trade with me and my DD that i have traded would go to his garage and his RK would go for me, we could trade paints too . We would be able to see whats everyone is trading with the new trading bottom and it would also have a history section that shows all the trades of the day .

I think this system would be great for the ones who dont have much supplyes or for the players that got alot on unused paints.

 

The system would look like --Nickname is trading 1k DD for 200 RK { accept }

Rework for the existing 1-4 supplies where upon hitting the supply key, it shouldnt get instantly activated. Instead they should be dropped on the tank where everyone can pick it up if the player who dropped them is pushed out of the way, that way the game would relay more on skill and team supporting rather than just spamming 1-4 for extra temporary stats

I'm suggesting a new number for the supplies.  I have the Saboteur drone, and when I have mines, I don't always want to use the circle of mines, just one mine.  My idea is to have a separate number for the Saboteur mine drop so the player can choose which one they want to use.

the best way to balance the game would be limiting the number of supplies used per match (not counting those acquired from boxes).limit all supply uses to 2 -3 times a match and the gameplay would be fairer and less one -sided .otherwise if u are low on supplies even with good equipments,ur toast

It would make a lot more sense to just add an activation key for drone abilities, which would work for ALL drones. I'm not sure why devs haven't added it - one possible reason is balance purposes, because being able to always activate your drone on demand would lead to them being even stronger.

You don't think the REAL reason is because... they want players to use up batteries?  ?

Batteries would still be used at the same rate, but the difference is that you'd be able to activate your drone's ability at any time, assuming it's recharged. So no more self-destructing to avoid Lifesaver getting triggered, and no need to hesitate on whether or not to pick up DD while using Booster because no enemies are nearby, because you can just use on the drone on demand whenever you actually need it.

Thought it also had to do with turning off drones so they did not suck away so many batteries and could be used in a more tactical nature.  My mistake.

Give the option for in-clan supply swapping. Not selling, but giving away. Say I have 20K speed boost (I have more..), I could give some away for free to my clansmen.

A new and improved way of get your supplies:

 

I thought about this from time to time. What if friends were able to send supplies to you. The amount of friends you have would become valuable. A better way to show your friendship and “alliance” to each other would be “shipping goods”. Sending a random amount of supplies that your friend will appreciate. Sending supplies will cost half the price of current supply items in the garage. No discounts will come on any “shipping goods”. A message could be sent along with the amount of supplies you sent.

 

How much crystals does each cost individually:

 

Repair Kit

75

Double Armour

25

Double Damage

25

Speed Boost

25

Mine

25

Battery

150

Gold Box

500


 

For example:

  •  If you were to send 10 of each supply item it would cost 3 250 crystals

  • If you were to send 25 of each supply item it would cost 8 125 crystals

  • If you were to send 50 of each supply item it would cost 16 250 crystals

  • If you were to send 100 of each supply item it would cost 32 500 crystals.

 

*Gold Box not included in examples

introduce the option of limiting amount of personal supply used per match .like no one can use more than 2 or 3 of each supply per match .this should reduce gap between buyers and non-buyers significantly and would enable more teamwork and less of the selfish camping

Brutus drone should use less batteries

 

10% armor and damage =/= 5% armor and damage plus the ability the drone gives you

 

half price micro upgrades aren't good enough because in the end why would anybody use Brutus drone over of the other obnoxious unbalanced drones?

 

even a non upgraded regular drone is slightly better than a fully upgraded brutus drone

LOL, I have Brutus. I tried in the test server. Pair that with Shaft's HC and Scout Radar, OHKO to any non-Juggernaut tanks (assume they all have full HP).

Brutus in my opinion, the balanced drone in the game. Others, no.

crisis is a madhouse .eliminates every cooldown too .smh

I just requested the drone use less batteries. I didn't say make the drone 15-20%

The way it is set up right now, you have to either buy batteries to play with a drone all the time, or only play with drones one day a week or maybe only during double battle funds if your only battery supply comes from missions and you don't shell out real money like the greedy game devs want you to.

I predict if brutus drone didn't use as many batteries, maybe just enough batteries that you get from weekly mission containers and challenges, then you would see a lot of players using brutus drone instead of no drones at all.

and also average damage for mk7+ is (790+970) divided by 2 = 880 per shot, so 880 x .1 = 968

so you would need to get at least 910 damage plus fully upgraded brutus drone to one shot a light hull without a double armor, and that is only IF the enemy doesn't have a drone on because all regular drones have 5% fully upgraded. but you know what? I bet you're the luckier rng mf's out there always getting massive loads of good rng damage like all the railgun players do. 

hammer has no range and all the other rapid fire alterations for the following turrets (thunder, railgun, smoky, shaft, ricochet torch trash, gauss and shaft acrade shot, double hammer, and magnum reinforced gun carriage (super thunder) shooting at 100% power and pooping out another stupid looking floating explosive turd at 0% power 2 seconds later) blow away the hammer reloading mechanic so I welcome the buff, ricochet is rapid fire and easy and the time difference between one extra shot to kill is a half a second which doesn't matter, and I don't care about your stupid rapid fire, higher damage per second than original, kiddy railgun alteration, permanent 50% railgun protection for life. but like 95-99% of railguns use hornet only so I automatically expect a quick cheap lame ass death when I see railgun hornet overdrive
