I don't see why devs would give heavy and medium Hulls a buff if they were selling hornets. They only did that so that the game remains diverse. The combo used by a player should be of his choice. Their shouldn't be any 'best' or 'ultimate' equipment in Tanki. Since Hornet was being used a bit too much, heavy and medium Hulls were given a buff.

@RustyNail, you are right. They wouldn't declare on forum that they are losing customers. But they would surely do something about it. Roll out new updates, revert some infamous ones, etc... Since we can't see anything like that, I think that the situation is not bad enough to be given attention to. (By situation, I mean decrease in max limit of server load graph).

However long we argue that drugs imbalance the game, if players keep playing the game, it won't matter. As long as they got customers, any complaints regarding drugs will not be given much thought. People come and play, get annoyed by druggers, rage quit the battle and next day, they come back. That's how it works.

I believe that they want as much money as possible during spring and summer so that by autumn they launce Unity with many unique elements, believing they will gain back their gone away players (or others, for what matters).

However I consider this very unethical and I will not forget the unjust situation they created in order to get their money.

Of course, most of the players being 13 yo will forget or not even understand what happened. That makes their policy effective, but does not constitute a reason for me to stop exposing the true conditions under which the players have to exist in the game.

Because in that way they sold both (more $$$) ... hornets because it is a must (or something you want for any reason) and a heavy hull because it got powerful!

As I said, it is their full right to make profit, they have to and I fully agree with it! They will never show their balances here (even if they are public information) and I am not interested in them, but, if well managed, Tanki is a gold river! They are not a bounch of desperate programmers begging for a piece of bread! And they deserve it!

 

The problem is greed and shortsight! That is bad for customers and, consequently, is bad for business. I am directly interested in the first and indirectly in the second (no business no tanki).

Tanki has screwed them self`s big time

for example i have been battling on this account since March 1 2015 and well in my journey i have seen battles from heavy drugging to no drugs and i find with the drops and the free gifts why buy drugs no need for it..and for those who use then ( in other words buy ) then your wasting your money save it for the real world..if the little drugs we do get save and save till you do need them ..i refuse to buy and i stay mostly to games with out drugs

I have discovered theres no point in drugging against a crystal buyer, heres why: he has more repair kits than you, or unless you want to have 0 repair kits, do it. ;)

Not everyone ... but there are! If (virtually) everyone drugged, battles would be balanced!

When you see (as you can easily check) 90% of battles with scores like 15-0, 12-2 or even 45-1 and soo on, you are quite sure that there is unbalance. When you check the numbers in them and you see the first 2-4 winners having 2-3 times the score than the others and the first players on the other side, you confirm that is excessive drugging that cause that unbalance!

I hate quitters more than druggers.  The games that I see drastically unbalanced are the ones in which the losers are greatly outnumbered.  Two players not drugging will usually beat one drugger.  I save my supplies until the double battle funds days, and then drug like the craziest.

Apart that you occasionally find one ... but did you noticed that DRUGS ARE ON?? Both garage and drops!

 

I don't know if you noticed it, but we are talking here about DRUG FREE battles, not only starred ones. This just confirm that many "pro" battles are with impossible limits (not this case) and/or with drugs ON.

 

This is just a confirm that who says "go pro battle" doesn't really know very well what the problem is!

I have to admitt, En servers are not the best place for Tanki.

I find more unbalanced situations there, as well as most imature behaviour. Wildest drugging, early abandoning, most selfish behaviour (sabotage or fight with team mates over the flag etc) and lots of swears in chat. I don't know why this is so.. maybe the average age of players in EN servers is lower than that of RU servers.

 

So, although Tanki sends me to EN1 (is for top ranks I guess, as before my uprank it used to send me to EN2) I usually don;t find any suitable map and go to RU4 or RU5 or 6. There are a lot of battles in Serpuhov or Rio (although Rio is dominated by Thunders / Ricos) and some of them are good, others are ... well, I usually bring pics from those last ones :P

In a lot of cases it's not so much drugs that cause imbalance. It's when you have a team that is full of these:

 

 

in a battle of M3s (max rank was Marshal), that you start to have a problem. That the enemy used supplies is only a part of it. It's a good thing that was only a 15 minute battle. We had no hope after the first 5!
