Premium paint is very well put to 15% because it comes WITH the unlimited supplies AND the best MUed M3 combos AND the most expensive paints.

 

One of the proposals for balancing the game was the creation of premium accounts that provided a slight advantage in power plus non-power advantage, such as facilities or cosmetics (an personalized profile, etc).

But we proposed this as a means of reducing supplies usage, so that one income source would REPLACE the other.

What did Tanki do?

It brought premium accounts without removing supply kits.

In other words it added another income source on the previous one.

 

So now, top buyers can have all the advantages they had before AND the premium account advantages. Well, to me that is a petty management. And as for the game, you see what Tanki does in order to keep players here. Daily missions so that players have to stay logged and play in order to get bonus (crystals / supplies) and extra bonus for a weekly continuity, and still, numbers do not grow... Why is that? Because playing has been mostly frustrating.

i dont beleive tanki made premium as a way to switch the drug income because that would really be a step to make buyers op. None buyers buy drug kits while none buyers cant buy premium

Though i dont think tanki wants to do this.... we do need drugless server "server thar doesnt recognise drugs" and a druggggger server.... the rest can be normal. Then based on seeing results thet can add servers to fit the popularity of "ns" and "dw" --- no supply and drug war.

Drugs are forced on everyone and can't be avoided because everyone does it, effectively screwing over people like me who want a clean fight.

We've already talked about this MANY times, but since you can't be bothered to actually read, here's our simple answer: No.

If you do, in fact, have brain cells, here's the long and boring answer: PRO battles are only available at the higher ranks, and are mostly XP/BP and parkour. Once again screwing over everyone at my rank and below.

Once again, we'll just waste our money because there are no available battles there that aren't XP/BP and parkour.

Don't you think it's a bit unfair we're forced to do this? What if I want to win because I outsmarted my opponent, not because I used a health kit at the last second. As for the "everyone can and should do it" part, apply the same concept to something like drinking sewage, and now it sounds like you're forcing everyone to drink sewage. The same thing applies here with supplies, just on a different subject.

 

Following this TG should have nothing new to add, and we can safely consider any additional counter-arguments from him void and useless.

So ELIZA, I see you have found your way here.  I have been passively following along, I can't always be busy here, real life calls, but as you can see, my initial warnings were not the boy who cried wolf, it's exceptionally bad.  Glad to know you're back and playing though.

 

As you can see, the opposition is rather vocal too.  Now A_R_A_K_E_L_Y_E_N is at least a reasonable type for the most part, and we can agree to disagree, and this person is not entire unsympathetic to our sentiments, but yeah, there are plenty that are not, and even hostile towards it, so if you hang around here, you'll eventually get as pissed as we do with some folks and their blather.

remember me? We exchanged a couple of messages months ago, before you stopped Tanki (for a while at least).

 

This topic can get confusing, due to lack of same use of terms by all the commentators. For example you can find different uses of the main term, "drugging". It also takes some patience and the ability to link this issue (drugging) to other aspects of Tanki (economy, distribution of power, MUs etc) that obviously are not to be analyzed here.

 

The main point (but not only this) is that constant use of supplies ( = drugging ) is not affordable for everyone. At least, not if this anyone wishes to also upgrade his tank and purchase some paints etc. Economy in Tanki has seen better days, that is before decreasing oil prices hurt ruble... but that's another story.

 

Top buyers can gather all four five elements of power via real money. That is, a wide range of combos, a wide range of paints, full MU for main combos / paints and unlimited supplies via supplies kits. Oh, and the fifth, premium funds and paint. Thus, top buyers become really OP against normal players.

 

Maybe old Gssimos that have already gathered a decent set of items before SCD do not experience this harsh competition, but for a typical player the rank ladder has become a series of constant beating and feelings of frustration.

 

Since supplies is the only aspect of power that can be adjusted so that it depends less on money and more on skills or luck (both necessary) thus we support this topic that wants to inform new players and explain what they have to deal with and what others have to deal with, and maybe, maybe, influence Tanki devs into altering the model of economy in Tanki X.

 

That's all and all the rest are collateral gossip or unfortunate remarks that refer to unhappy moments of Tanki experience. Since you are a grown up person, please try to focus to the spirit of the topic and let go of minor excesses of speech.

While playing a Serpuhov CTF to finish one of my Daily Chores, I ran across player Cuirassier_noir. If the Premium Paint, Stinger Kit, and 143 drugs per hour ratio weren't dead giveaways, he's obviously a buyer, and a heavy one at that. Since he was on the opposing team, and since he was constantly consuming his daily dosage of more than 10 drugs every 5 minutes, all the players on my team (including myself) were understandably miffed at this imbalance (and at the fact that he single-handedly turned the game from a 4-2 to a 5-10 in seconds).

 

When several people told him "stop drugging, it's unfair", he had an interesting response. I can't quote him word for word since I was too lazy to screenshot all of his rambling, but the gist of it was this:

 

"Druggers keep the game free to play for all you *stupid *free-riders who like to *complain a lot, so if I stop drugging, all of you *people will have your *pathetic accounts terminated."

 

*Profanity has been replaced with much milder language

 

I'm not going to say anything else about this (since sharing your opinion is highly offensive and punishable with a week-long ban... apparently). I just wanted to bring this up. Discuss away.

I would have just changed to an Isida paint, hunted him down once and then DD so no chance for his repair kit to go into effect. He will probably be looking for me after that.  :)

You probably have forgotten that you can pop a DARK combo without having to worry about cooldowns. Even if I did get a DD box (and they're quite rare on Serpuhov), he'd still be up a repair kit.

 

Not to mention it was M1's vs M2's to begin with...
