Great.

Everybody keep expressing your selves, people read and each one comes to their own conclusions, no matter how loud some accounts are shouting.

So, keep showing what you're made of.. ;)

 

p.s. I love NustyRail. I even thought - long ago - on making a new account with that name, but Tanki having favored so much supplies, it doesn't worth starting a new account. So, there'll be only this one, RustyNail...

I just can't believe all of you free users still whine about imbalance and refuse to understand that free-to-play games actually rely on this imbalance to force players to spend money at some point. Tanki hasn't been developped to give you pleasure in the first place but to generate income. Any development team of this type of game - as I said in the my first post that nobody commented seriously - plays with your emotions to make you feel weak. The only way to feel great and be successful in these games is to spend money or upgrade patiently your equipment for free. Tanki isn't an association !!!

 

Basically, Tanki gives you ice cream samples and you'd like to eat for free as many ice creams than buyers.

How do you know that? Im certain the developers didn't just create the game for income, although they rely on it, a game like this doesn't make as much income as wargaming for example, so that's not really the case, the aim is to allow players to enjoy the game they are playinng as much as possible as well as encouraging people to spend. Deliberately creating imbalance solely for this purpose drives players away, its clear as day why they simply won't continue developing tanki flash. There has to be a certain balance maintained in order to keep the customers the game has, the gap between free players and players who spend is not as important as the balance.

I also think that the opt-out idea will not work.. as it relies on a strong commitment (which oposes the usual lazyness and timeconstraints of players).

I thought this was a good suggestion.

 

A supplies battles opt-out pass

  • costs x,000 cyrstals
  • ensures you only get crystals in your daily missions
  • ensures you can only play in no-supplies battles only
  • lasts for a month
  • can be cancelled at any time by the user

This will ensure there are more supply free battles on offer and will stop the drugger-whining almost overnight.

 

But hey, if players aren't prepared to try to get the one thing they've been screaming for all this time then nobody is going to do it for them. If they're not committed enough for this then they're not serious enough either. This leads me to think that they secretly enjoy being beaten by druggers so they can come in here and moan about it.

 

Maybe someone will see the merit in this suggestion and run with it. Maybe they won't and prove that they're just out to whine for whining sakes. Unbelievable!

Yes - I absolutely share your opinion. If someone wants a change, this someone has to do something.

I do not expect Tanki to change something by themselfes.. and in the beginning this thread here was a measure to point out drug issues to the devs.. think about changes.. - so, the main idea of this thread here was to do something.

I don't believe that the players like it to be beaten up... but I am sure that whining is easier then doing something. But I mean this in general - and not focused on this topic. Regarding this topic here (which I read for a very long time now) I saw, that

- The most very good posts in this thread point out real issues and some offer ideas

- Of course a lot of whining posts came and joined in here as well.. which makes the topic more emotional then it should be..

I will PERSONALLY invite you to one of our battles once the club is running right, bring your "Skillz" crew with you, all the pageant M4 bunnies. We'll see how much you like game play then, with the notion of shoot and scoot, hide, carefully selected shots, making decisions on who and when to shoot that can make or break a game. THAT IS FUN, not your sorry video gameplay.

There is not a drug issue at all.  I have played most of the day using mainly what was on the ground.  Their is an issue with organised groups clans and raiding parties.  They are usually maxed out do drug are very organised place mults in your team.  They take over games, have often started games in advance then take over at a crucial point.  They go all at once.  That is the real problem.  That and this platform will most probably exist for many moons longer.  So we will all have to start over.

He did post links to profiles and also calculated supplies per hour (over-exaggerated in 2000mc's case). He also apportioned some fault.

 

But we have established it was his intention so what do you have to say now? You've dug a hole for yourself there.

I didn't read that part, so that's my fault, sorry.

 

And like I said, if it was his intention of calling you out, that is indeed his fault but you guys could have settled this matter a long time ago with polite, explanatory, respectful posts instead of dragging it over the course of 10+ pages with sarcastic memes and comments. Or you could have settled it in a PM.

Well I did say get it suggest it and let the community shape it. Not everything is set in stone from the outset. One thing you cannot do is cost tanki money. What you must strive for is a better game experience for the majority and more money for tanki and even then there is no guarantee they will even give you the time of day.

Well I see memes sure but the name calling directed at those making an argument is off the scale. Go read it back from page 251 and you'll find over a dozen insults. A meme is polite retaliation to those insults and if you're offended by them well I'm lost for words.

Unless there is more to this story, the math doesn't add up.  If you RK just as a DA dies off and then are subject to three hits from a M2 or M3 Rico, in a Wasp, and you have cool downs to wait on, there is absolutely no way you are surviving a full charge from a half MU'd M3 shaft.  Try again.

This I could see, though there is no drug use there, so I'd be fine with that, fair fight, need a mixed team to handle all the issues, though as far as you NOT dying on the way back home, um, you said Izzie, not a hull, I don't care what turret you got, if you sport a Wasp against a MU'd Shaft, you're gonna die (if no drugs are involved).

after an m3 shot i can survive 3 more rico shots. I die on fourth

This time filling in the details you wouldnt know being an enemy.

an m3 shaft does 222 damage on full snipe load. My wasp has 180 protection and my needle does 50% protection from shaft (I mentioned how i noticed your pro shaft skillz). So you do me 111 damage leaving about 69 hp. Rico does 38 max damage making three shots equaling 114 damage. However my needle does 40% protection making the reality that i suffer 68 hp removed. I have one more HP left.

 

You may claim that what if its another turret. My claim is; im not alone either.

i also have 45% protection on picasso with thunder, rail, freeze, and shaft. With isida, that freeze just gives me more hp than taking hp.

as you proved you arent that much savvy.

an m3 shaft does 222 damage on full snipe load. My wasp has 180 protection and my needle does 50% protection from shaft (I mentioned how i noticed your pro shaft skillz). So you do me 111 damage leaving about 69 hp. Rico does 38 max damage making three shots equaling 114 damage. However my needle does 40% protection making the reality that i suffer 68 hp removed. I have one more HP left.

I don't play wit paints, I play with Green.  I will submit that this IS a short coming of mine, I usually assess the ability to deal damage as the battle goes and keeping track of who dies when, according to shots taken.  Not the best method, but since I have no interests in paint, I have never really versed my self in them.  I give credit where due, in this case, you are right.  That said, 1 HP is a bit of thread to hang on by, but fair enough, in a clean and technical math argument, this makes sense.

i do say i admire your gameplay though you did kind of under estimate 2000mc by alot. And you underestimate m4 bunnies.

minus the fact that most shafters have a huge stockpile of supplies so shaft m3 + DD = your dead not matter what paint your wearing
